Female aged 47 based in the UK .
Start Weight on 1st Jan '19
Starting - 158.50lb
End R64 - 154.90lb - Round loss 3.6lb - Loss to date 3.60lb
End R65 - 149.90lb - Round loss 5.0lb - Loss to date 8.60lb
Hoping to carry on where I left off last round - aiming to lose a couple of pound this round and finish in the 147's.
01/22 - 149.90
01/23 - 149.4lb (-0.5) Happy with that to start the round off with and continues my pattern of lose for a few days, then a small gain then back to losing again (???). Aiming to be properly on track this week and totally focused as away over the weekend so meals out, hotel breakfasts plus a 5 hour car journey each way - will be a challenge but one I need to learn to handle better.
01/24 - 149.7 (+0.3) No logic to this other than a carb heavy dinner of risotto last night and TOM imminent (or not! All a bit hit and miss these days ). Not disheartened as still down on round starting weight and a good food day planned for today
01/25 - 149.8 (+0.1) Guessing this is TOM approaching as feeling bloated today and no reason for it based on my diet Not going to put me off track though as feeling very focused and determined at the minute. Weekend away now - have a plan in my head to stay as much on track as possible - just need to act on it now. Have a great weekend everyone
01/26 - DNW
01/27 - DNW
01/28 - DNW
01/29 - 150.0lb (+0.20) Not too bad considering had a weekend away with just a little indulgence and TOM arrived - back on track today and aiming to see my end weight for this round lower than where I started. No plans out of the ordinary for the week so no reason why these last few days shouldn't be good!
01/30 - 149.40lb (-0.6lb) Yay! Back on track and on a downward path again and half a pound from the start of the round. Every intention of keeping up this momentum and get a decent loss for the round.
01/31 - 150.20lb + .80lb ????? I genuinely have no idea why......can only think its due to having ham with dinner last night and hence the salt ? But 0.8lb ???? Wow! I shall continue my quest and hope to see this off over the next few days as I know its not because of excess calories or macro's ...........
02/01 - 149.90 -0.3lb - so finished where I started - gggrrr! Don;t feel the scales reflect the last 10 days so going to have a think and change something for the next round - but I am not defeated. Keep picturing my summer holiday in my head!!
See you all in round 67!17 -

01/25 176.0 I suspect that is the end of the water woosh and things will slow down again now. I still don"t have a fridge or a stove but I have started getting the cupboards and small appliances organized. The cupboards are configured differently than before so it takes some trial and error, but it is very nice to have a new clean kitchen! I think that the first thing I will cook when I get my appliances in chicken picatta - I've never made it before but this seems like a good time to try new things.
01/26 DNW
01/27 177.6 I was basically AWOL yesterday, got my workout in but did not weigh or track. Got up stupidly early to get DS1 out the door for a tournament. In the afternoon I attended a memorial service for a dear friend, mass followed by a series of presentations followed by a reception followed by a party. Dinner was take out Chinese food. I expect some of this gain is sodium related. Back to kitchen unpacking today after I catch up on all the posts here.
01/28 179.0 No good reason, no extenuating circumstances - I just did not have my act together yesterday.
01/29 179.6 ditto
01/30 178.6
01/31 177.6 Yesterday was the first day in a while where I stuck to my meal plan and came in under goal on calories. Come to think of it yesterday was the first day in a while that I even had a meal plan. Made the chicken picatta last night and it was yummy!
02/01 177.6 It's been a roller coaster round for me, a roller coaster month, but I am ending the round with a loss of 1 lb. My kitchen reno is done and winter is half over and I haven't gotten sick and I haven't fallen on the ice so all is well. On to round 67.14 -

Day/Weight/Comment
1/23 - 174.2 - 33g carbs, 15g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, keto seed porridge.
1/24 - 173.6 - 57g carbs, 38g net carbs. Carbs were: multi grain tortilla chips 1oz, spaghetti squash, horseradish in tuna, tomatoes in turkey taco.
1/25 - 174.4 - 47g carbs, 38g net carbs. Carbs were: broccoli, cashews, cauliflower, carmelized onion dip, cranberry oatmeal cookie.
1/26 - 175 - 101g carbs, 93g net carbs. Carbs were: Cocoa mix, heavy whipping cream, cocoa powder, seasoned flour on fried chicken, croissant, spaghetti squash. I felt cold all day. I was hungry just before the start of my eating window, but didn't eat until the last hour. Spent the day helping my Niece prepare for my Grand Nephew's birthday party.
1/27 - 173.8 - 37g carbs, 32g net carbs. Carbs were: multi grain tortilla chips, guacamole, broccoli, vanilla wafers. Didn't make it to 1000 calories yesterday. Just wasn't hungry.
1/28 - 175.2- 32g carbs, 28g net carbs. Carbs were: cauliflower, seasoning on turkey wings, breading on chicken tender, raw pecans
1/29 - 176 (early weigh in) - 28g carbs, 22g net carbs. Carbs were: spinach, cashews, green beans.
1/30 - 174.4 - 57g carbs, 51g net carbs. Carbs were: horseradish in tuna, salad, multi grain crackers, oyster crackers, raspberries, whipped cream, 85% dark chocolate.
1/31 - 176.2 - I'll be glad when my cold weather carb loading is over! 132 carbs, 101g net carbs. Carbs were: Oyster crackers, PeppFarm mini dark choc chunk cookies (No, I am not fooled by the "mini" Still a lot of calories and carbs, but they're so crunchy!), keto seed porridge, was not the satisfying comfort food today, but homemade minestrone did the trick.
2/01 - 172.8 - 32g carbs, 22g net carbs. Carbs were: spinach, cream of asparagus soup, 1/2 mini naan. ▪174.9▪ was my average weight for January, so not too bad considering the carb eating. I'm pretty sure the asparagus soup helped me shed the fluid so quickly. It's nice to end the round at this number. ☺

01/22 well I didn't weigh bc I was afraid to get on the scale after vacation, flying, and airport food!
01/23 186.8 only up one lb from vacation, so I consider it a win. I had a hard time getting back in the groove yesterday, I hope today will be easier. I did go to yoga which felt great after a long day of uncomfortable travel. Need to hydrate and veggies today. I already have some meals portioned out so that will make it easier.
01/24 185.8
01/25 185.8
01/26 186.6 stayed close to plan today. chose rice as my main grain for the day with my poke bowl, but only got 1/2 cup rice and the rest salad greens and had the left overs for dinner.
01/27 188.0 well hello, water weight!
01/28 186.8 almost gone. leg day at the gym.
01/29 186.8 so sore from yesterday! yoga to stretch it out.
01/30 187.2 still sitting here. my trend line is actually going up right now. Maybe tomorrow I can see a drop that will correct that. I did have a super hungry day yesterday probably because I've been hitting the gym hard, so that makes sticking to my plan a lot tougher. It's like the reptile brain turns on "must have FUEL!!!" but the choices I made were lean proteins and only 2 cookies. I also really wanted some wine with dinner, but turned that down too.Hope tomorrow is easier.
01/31 185.8 Finally back where I started. This round has been really tough weight wise and I'm not sure why? I have been putting more thought into my eating, being more careful, and planning ahead, and just seeing these fluctuations of the same 3 pounds is a total bummer. I do think that starting back in the gym causes me to hold water more, and also makes me want to eat a bit more so that is harder diet wise. I signed up for 8 sessions with a personal trainer to help me be more accountable and be a personal cheerleader so maybe that will help.
02/01 185.8 well this round was a wash. I am just hoping that my body is acclimating to more gym time and I'll see a good whoosh next round.14 -

It was pretty emotional yesterday with it being my coworkers last day. I didn’t track my restaurant lunch or the cake and snacks but I’m sure everything was way over calories. Only saving grace really was that I was so full from lunch and wiped out from my day that I didn’t feel like cooking or eating dinner. Trying to get back on the horse today with a nice salad for lunch and dinner all planned out. At least I got to end the round on a good note weight wise, although I’m sure I’ll pay for yesterday in a couple of days.16 -

1/25 – 232.8 I have my "official" weigh in at the drs office on the 29th - a little antsy for the results as 1) my scale isn’t moving as i think it should lol and 2) this is an afternoon appointment compared to a morning appointment (all other appointments have been mornings) and my weight can fluctuate 3 to 5lbs end of day weigh in compared to morning weigh in

48 y.o. female, 5'6
Original Starting Weight: 193 (July 2016)
Current Starting Weight: 161.9 (January 13. 2019)
Lowest Weight: 135ish
Goal Weight: 140 (maybe 145)
Other Goal: Get back to gym at least 3 days per week.
End of Round 65: 155.1
01/23 155.1 (weight holding steady 3 days; under 1200 cal.; increased water)
01/24 154.9 (after dropping so fast last round, loss has slowed down; still doing 1200 cal. 12 days now/7 lbs)
01/25 154.5 (1200 cal)
01/26 154.2 (slow and steady I guess, still 1200 cal, still no gym)
01/27 154.7 (sodium was very high yesterday, but still at 1200 cal.)
01/28 154.7 (less sodium, under 1200 cal, drank more water)
01/29 154.8 (over by 13 calories, getting frustrated with stalled weight loss this round)
01/30 153.4 (finally! )
01/31 152.3 (even better! the whole "it's not linear" thing is true. still at/under 1200 cal)
02/01 151.6
Loss this round: 3.5 pounds 10.3 since rejoining this challenge on January 13th, though much was water retention I would think.
I am proud that I have gone through 2 rounds and stuck with it! I had gone months with bad eating habits after such a big loss from 2016. I was a little worried about getting back on track, but now I am not and realize that the power is always mine. My biggest challenge will be in accepting that staying at my ideal weight is a complete lifestyle change, not a temporary challenge to accomplish. I also may be one who has to track for life. Now, to lose about 10 more pounds in the next 4 rounds! Also, really am almost ready to start going to the gym again, at least 2 - 3 days a week.15 -

01/23🥂 *my 9 year anniversary with my hubby*🥂140.0 Wow, what a whoosh! I also saw 139.8 but didn't want to jinx it, so took the higher number. I will be honest, it might not stay. Today is my anniversary and my man is planning a night of activities so I might indulge. I will be exercising and I will try and eat healthy veggies and fruits but keep the higher end calories for tonight's dinner. It will be an NSV if I stay away from desert, which I am really worried about. My hubby told me I have been doing amazing and it is only one night but I am apprehensive because I am beginning to close the gap between the 40s and 30s and don't want to off set it....but he is right. I always jump back on again and it will just take a few extra days to get back to this weight, but I can do it.
01/24 142 I just love to force myself to really work for my losses lol. Last night was amazing, my hubby and I had a great time together, playing games, eating Chinese food and watching tv. It was so relaxing and I am so blessed to have him in my life. I am so happy I am with him and I don't know what I have ever done to deserve such an amazing human being. I am truly blessed. I know this uptick is from the salt from last night's dinner and I don't expect it to stay for long, I am actually surprised it wasn't more. I ate so much food, i literally hurt myself. Still feeling slightly bloated this morning too. But I did exercise good and drank a little over 1 liter of water. Hopefully I can undo most of this damage by tomorrow but I know it will take a couple of days to see if it really has come off.
01/25 141.2 there we go! Exercised good, stayed under calories and drank 2 liters of water. Tomorrow is my weigh in day for some MFP groups, so hoping today I can push out a little more for an over all impressive weight loss this week, regardless of Wednesday's meal. I hope this weekend isn't too tough on me. Family breakfast and then off to a friend's house for the hockey game... I will stay diligent!
01/26 142.6 a small bump. I did this to myself. Last night I tried so hard, I ate other, healthier options to stay way from the snacking but after what felt like forever, smelling the chips and stuff my hubby was eating, i finally gave in. I was so hungry all day and couldn't manage to get full. It was just one of those "powerful cravings not enough will power" type of days. I am still exercising and managed 2 liters of water. I made my peace.
01/27 no weigh in. I wasn't as hungry yesterday and was good all day up until dinner. Went over to a friend's house and I attempted to eat before hand to curb my appetite but it didn't end up working out. It's ok though. This morning my man woke me up and we grabbed some coffee and break fast together and I completely forgot to weigh in before hand. Just gives me another day to attempt to bring down my (almost) weeks worth of terrible eating. I am still exercising regularly so that is something. I can't help feeling super relaxed with my weight (a complete turn around from last week) but I think my excitement and drive to get out of this decade is beginning to return, so I hope that puts a new fire under my *kitten*. I will do this! I can do this!
01/28 143.8 yikes! could only imagine what the day befores weight looked like, considering I was so good yesterday with my eating. I didn't exercise much, kind of hibernated but had a really nice day and got in 2 liters of water.
01/29 141.8 and back down again. Ate good yesterday and workout...especially shoveling snow. Holy cow the snow is taller then me!!! 1.8 liters of water, getting better at it and staying mindful. TOM is due to arrive tomorrow so we will see how this round ends. 10 days goes by so fast!
01/30 142.2 TOM arrived, expected a fluctuation, I feel bloated. Exercised good, ate under Calories, fourth day staying way from any trigger foods even though the cravings are strong! And 2 liters of water!!!
01/31 141.8 hope I can drop some of this bloat for tomorrow's final weigh in so I can at least report a loss even if I don't make my goal...This is getting harder and harder. I have been so good and watching This weight drop at a snails pace but then one night of weakness can throw me a full four days...argggg. what can you do though? Hopefully I can finally get under the 40s and never see this number again, especially because I have given my body more then enough time to adjust at this current weight. Yesterday I exercised good, ate under Calories and had 2 liters of water.... finally getting the hang of more water!
02/01 140.8 so back down to my lowest for the round and since this group started, i am so anxious to kick these 40s and hit those 30s that I am half excited and half annoyed....yet still happy. I hit my goal, technically for the round so that's good. Worked out good yesterday, stayed under calories but drank 1 liter of water.
See you all next round16 -

I hit my “goal weight” around late November. I’ve managed to maintain around this weight since then. What I have realized though, is that I don’t think I would’ve been able to maintain without the daily accountability of this challenge. Thank you to @Grandmajackie and all of you contributors for the daily insights and commiseration. It makes all the difference in being successful at weight loss this time.
I think that is what I need to do when I get to my goal weight as well! Thanks for the great idea. I will stick around and make sure I stay where I need to stay. I was not able to maintain mine, and came back to lose what I regained. I still have about 10 to go, but I really like the idea of keeping up with the daily accountability.7 -

01/23 181.9 This is getting to be too much. In 20 days I'm down 1 pound. There is a part of me that thought I'd skip this round. It's too depressing for me when I'm eating within calories and staying focused on exercise with no weight loss. I honestly had one bad calorie day on Sunday, every other day I have been within goal. I keep expecting a whoosh that isn't coming. I need to accept I'm here - not at 178 like I was for a few days. Old Kris tells me to give up and eat whatever I want and how much I want. Screw walking, screw the gym, forget the stupid C25K idea you're too old, fat, out of shape etc. I need to slap the crap out of Old Kris (OK), because that's what I've done every time. Keep me accountable people. I need this challenge.
01/24 181.9 Still here. I walked three freezing miles yesterday and fell on the stupid ice. I'm not walking today, my body is a little sore. I fell on ice twice this week, I think that's a sign. Plus they have temperature warnings for this afternoon, frost bite can set in within 15 minutes of exposure. A good sign to take the night off. My calories were low yesterday, didn't eat back my exercise calories but over on sodium. I guess that's why I'm stuck. On a positive note, have you guys tried the Green Giant Fresh bowls? I had the Teriyaki sauce with sesame seeds bowl last night with a chopped up chicken breast and it was delicious. Thank you again for the support yesterday. The picture below is from my walk yesterday. Stupid winter.
01/25 181.4 Down finally. No exercise, food within goal. It's so cold (overnight 3 degrees, -12 windchill) I couldn't even think about walking outside.
01/26 180.0 I posted this yesterday but somehow it didn’t save.
01/27 178.5 The whoosh that took 10 days??? Who knows who cares, I’m happy with it. Thanks again for the support. You people helped me get back here.
01/28 179.6 Here we go again. I wasn't high on sodium for once and I was under calories (not by a lot but still). I think it will be down tomorrow. As long as it's done by the end of the round. I was happy to be out on the trail yesterday. I got in three miles but even on Sunday was running late. Trying to get too much weekend into one day. Saturday was spent babysitting my 1 yr old niece and attending a friend's granddaughter's wheelchair basketball game. I thought the baby might enjoy the game, instead she spent the entire time watching two kids play in the stands beside us. Hahaha If anyone has the opportunity to go to one of these games, they're not high scoring but they are fun to watch. Our girl is 10 and a blocking fool. On man-to-man coverage she blocked her guy in the corner, I don't think he touched the ball once. Of course she did the same thing on offense so she didn't touch the ball either
01/29 178.6 It was down tomorrow! I found an indoor track to walk on when the polar vortex is attaching the midwest. It's not as good as walking outside, but better than a treadmill. I did day 1 of week 2 C25K last night. I can't seem to do it straight through but have to stop the app and walk for about 5 minutes than start up again. But I ran the 90 seconds without stopping each round. I was surprised and kind of delighted. The really shocking bit, for myself, is I did this "running" (I jog - I have asthma and breathing issues) on an indoor track surrounded by people. They all saw me and no one stopped pointed and laughed. I actually passed people. Tonight is weight machines night. I look forward to it each week because it's kind of calming.
01/30 177.1 WTH? I do not expect this to last but it feels pretty good right now. I did my weights last night and stayed within calories. I'm going to lunch today at a BBQ place. I will get burnt ends and eat lettuce the rest of the day to make my goal. I haven't had any in MONTHS and I live in Kansas City the HOME of burnt ends! I will stay withing calories but my macros will be up!
01/31 176.7 I have no idea what's going on but can't be mad. These last three rounds have really been a roller coaster. I expected a slight uptick today but instead got an almost half pound loss. I am happy but still expect a slight uptick tomorrow. Right now at 8:20 a.m. it's 8 degrees, it's supposed to warm up to 34 this afternoon. If that happens I'll be on the trail, if it doesn't get that "warm" I'll be on the indoor track. I'm ready for day 2 week 2 of C25K. I will turn 50 in July, I've been thinking I should try to actually run a 5K to celebrate that. I walk them 3 or 4 days a week but to run the entire distance would be an accomplishment since I've literally never run a mile. It doesn't have to be by my birthday just before the end of the year. Mini goals help me a lot with this process.
02/01 177.1 Up from yesterday but down 4.8 for the round. Not that impressive when the starting weight was mostly retained water. My goal from last round was 177.6 so I beat that and I'm pretty happy. I am 5 pounds away from being half way to my goal. I got my three miles in yesterday and I'm at 55 miles for January. I remember when I thought I would struggle to get in 45 miles in October. Now 55 isn't even a struggle, particularly since I've found an indoor track.14 -
Trying the photo thing today. We got about 6 inches of snow. I stayed home from work. Roads were too nasty today. Finally made it to Onederland! Update after bit.16 -

OSW: 252
Round 66 SW: 214.6
01/23—216.8— Not an unexpected bump. I'm back to retaining water, have some digestive funkiness, and TOM looms. I didn't get 45 to continue to the next round of my push ups challenge, but I'm stoked because I got to 40. (42 if I count the two terrible ones at the end where I lost my form and nearly faceplanted.) So I went from 31 to 40 in ten days. Progress!
01/24—215.8—Had a lot of guesswork in my calories yesterday. I estimated high but lunch was plain chicken breast on plain salad. (I hate conference food!) Today will be more sedentary than yesterday, so I'll need to be mindful and keep moving.
01/25—216.6—TOM and non-ideal eating. Boo. I ate back all of my exercise calories, which I don't tend to like to do. I don't feel great, but I don't feel terrible either, which is a win!
01/26—217—This was after drinking a couple of glasses of water.
01/27—215.8—Late weigh-in. I felt really awful this morning so I went back to bed.
01/28—216.2—Rocky weekend for how I was feeling, but I ate well and got in a lot of moderate exercise minutes. I don't work for the US federal government, but a lot of my work is in reaction to what the federal government does, so it's possible this will be a real sprint of a week as the end of the shutdown might mean a ton of new things to respond to. Whee!
01/29—216.2—Still retaining some water. Yesterday was very quiet at work, which makes me nervous! I'm wearing pants today that gave me a muffin top the last time I was this weight (actually, I was a little lighter). No muffin top now! So things are shifting around. Continuing the push ups and Butt & Gut challenges. And I'm now in the habit of long stretches of medium intensity cardio. Not for weight loss but for cardiovascular fitness.
01/30—216.2—This number looks familiar! I had a very good eating day yesterday and experimented with microwave keto bread (I'm not using keto, but it was a gf recipe and easy). Not too bad! Getting slammed at work, as expected, so I have to try to be very conscious of moving often and drinking enough.
01/31—216.2—I'm not sure I've ever managed to have the same weight 4 days in a row. Not precisely the sort of record I was going for! Still holding onto some TOM water, I think, but feeling good otherwise. Another great eating day yesterday and another day of push ups. I glitched a bit and forgot to do part of my Butt & Gut challenge, but I'll just pick it up today and keep on keeping on!
02/01216—For one brief moment, the scale showed 216.2 again, then it settled on this weight. I'm a little surprised, but okay with it. On to the next round!14 -

01/23 - 207.2 (2004 steps) I did NOT want to adult on Tuesday. I called off work and just slept. The eating that I did do wasn’t recorded or measured. No exercise. No meal prep. Meh! Hope to pick myself back up and restart for Wednesday.
01/24 – 207.7 (3459 steps) I got back on track Wednesday. I went back to work and did a TON of meal prep when I got home. I cooked 4 pork chops, 3 round steaks, a package of large shrimp, and a package of scallops for a total of 11 meals to cover me up and thru the weekend. Today is a NEW day!
01/25 – 203.6 (5573 steps) 17 minutes on bike (3.81 miles) – Thursday was an awesome day. I wasn’t hungry. I didn’t snack. Work was stressful to the MAX but I did not ease that stress by eating. I actually allowed myself to have a pint of Halo Top ice cream and will ended up wayyyyyyy under my daily MFP calorie goal! (The shrimp/couscous concoction that I had prepped the other night might have turned out to be an epic fail, but I’m new to actually cooking so I’ll keep trying.)
01/26 - 203.6 (6200 steps) 30 mins on bike (6.44 miles) Friday is family dinner night and we went to Benny’s pizza. I managed to stay in the green on my calories. Good day. Dog sitting over Saturday night for my cousin. Packed a couple meals and I’m all set.
01/27 DNW (9402 steps) Saturday is barn day. Spent 5 hours on the road traveling. I probably got a good 45 minutes of exercise riding Spark (the gelding that I’m leasing). It was COLD! I packed a meal for dinner here at my cousin’s house. I stayed with her 3 dogs overnight. Unfortunately, I gave into LNS since she had cheddar popcorn and frosted mini-wheats. No scale here at her house.
01/28 – 203.6 (3815) Sunday was a relaxing day. No exercise but I kept within my calorie goal, right up until I went to bed. I’m not usually one to really care about the ups and downs from day to day but, I’ll say it’s nice to have seen the same # since 1/25.
01/29 – 201.9 (7762 steps) 35 mins of bike (7.69 miles) I had another great day yesterday. I was under on my calorie goal! I have more meal prepping to do tonight and I’ll be set for another 7 meals. I think doing that has saved me more than anything. I usually do both pork chops and round steaks that I buy at Aldi and pair them with either veggies or Knorr Rice sides. Yogurt and protein powder drink for breakfast most days.
01/30 – 201.2 (6220) 40 mins on bike (8.45 miles) Tuesday was a good day, except my Buckeyes lost to TTUN in men’s basketball. We started preparing for FREEZING cold temps! I prepped another 4 meals for the week. I still have more to make. I just didn’t feel like doing more than I did. I saved enough calories to enjoy a piece of my Aunt Nyla’s homemade apple pie! Yummy! Onward and downward! Stay warm my friends. Wind-chill was -23F at 5:30am this morning.
01/31 200.9 – (4300 steps) No exercise. I prepped another 3 meals last night. I have officially done that 3 nights in a row and I’m kinda getting a good system down so that it doesn’t really take me too long. My kitten likes to get up on the counter and watch me from the other side of the space. She watches me zoom all over the place. I’m exhausted by the time I’m done. I’m doing more experimenting with spices, rubs, seasonings etc. It either works or it doesn’t. I finally threw away that nasty scallops & couscous w/ red pepper flakes that I tried to make and eat. Yuck. 4 to 5 oz round steaks and/or pork chops are officially my favorite! I’m almost down to Onederland! Yay!
02/01 - 199.2 (4728) Onederland! First time since July 2017. No exercise, again. Had dinner at Roosters with some friends and actually pre-planned what I was going to have so I didn’t over indulge. We started getting snow. I want to hibernate until June.

I usually measure in stone and just convert that to pounds for the site, however I’ll be switching my scale to pounds so I can get the oz reading each day.
01/22 – 132lb (pre-scale change)
Day/Weight/Comment01/23 -131.8 (Been 9st 6lb for a few days so don't know rate the oz's have dropped. Will be interesting to see)01/31 – 130 (???. Didn’t have nearly enough water yesterday, maybe that’s it? Or maybe the 129 was a double fluke.)
01/24 -132.2 (Had quite a bit of salt yesterday, so may be water retention.)
01/25 -131.4 (That's better. So that would mean I'm 9st 5lb now right? Had real tasty food yesterday. Pork
tenderloin stuffed with garlic, kale, mushrooms and chorizo. Served with wild mushroom gravy and veggie mash, for lunch. Keto crème brûlée for desert. Then had a mini omelette (mushroom, bacon, bell pepper) with guacamole for dinner. Satisfying day )
01/26 -131.4 (Had a nice massage yesterday. Late birthday treat. They had a lot of sugary snacks on hand in the waiting area. Biscuits being offered, chocolates on the table, gummy sweets to the side; It was a challenge to resist free offerings. Then when I had a cup of tea, 2 little biscuits with dark chocolate and coconut covering were served beside it. Warred with myself for 5mins before I ended up having them. After searching for them online, 2 of them come to 7g carbs. So much for such small biscuits. But I was able to resit asking for more or going 'oh well might as well splurge now and have that chocolate too'. I managed to keep to my carb limits for the day.)
01/27 - 130.8 (Surprising, considering I snacked on some nuts late last night. Stressful time with my 6 months old nephew as he has a cold and wouldn't stay asleep for long. Sister out for the night with friends. )
01/28 -130.6
01/29 - 129(Don't know how it dropped that much haha. Doubt it will stick.)
01/30 – 129 (So it did stick. Making a lasagne with keto pasta and garlic bread today. Done the lasagne before, the bread is a first- but not first bread recipe. Side of baby spinach. I planned it for this day as there will be leftovers for my mother to have on Friday. I’m going out with a friend to see the latest ‘how to train your dragon’ movie. So excited. )
02/01 - 130.2 I blame the psyllium husk bread I've had the past couple days. I was clearly dehydrated waking up today. Slight sharpness in the head, bloated with some pain and dry skin & lips. So my body held water resulting in the rise there. I REALLY need to drink more. That'll be a goal on the next.
Going out with friend today. Planned what I'll be having with a little leeway on the carbs as can't be assured of accuracy.

01/30. 197.0. Bouncing, I guess. I did go over calories on the 28th, with wine so maybe a little catchup from that.

02/01 195.4. Was hoping for a slight loss, but happy for the total loss.

I found this challenge motivating. It was good for me to see I was not the only one to have their weight fluctuate, a lot of motivation from comments on your their journey and, then, peoples’ positive support. Good challenge!15 -

01/23 162.6 Hoping to get back on track today with food and eating. Last month I was on a juice fast for three days during my time of the month, so it was hard to see what the weight fluctuations looked like. I started today so will start tracking that going forward since I already can feel myself retaining water more than usual.
01/24 161.6 Had a great day yesterday, but all day today I have had a splitting headache so was unable to go the gym. I have been drinking a lot of water and did stay in my calorie allowance, so hoping for a good weigh in tomorrow and for this headache to leave.
01/25 161.7 Thankfully, I woke up with no headache so already starting off today on a better note. Planning on 45 minutes at gym on cardio machine and 10,000+ steps.
01/26 161.3 Tomorrow and Monday I am going to try to exercise 60 minutes to make up for missing today's 45 minute exercise session. Stayed in calorie count, but didn't get step or exercise count because I had an off site meeting today.
01/27 160.8
01/28 161.2 I meal prepped lunch for the first time. It was the first time I used my instant pot to cook chicken breast and it was easy. I have been unsure of the machine up until now, since I am only cooking for myself and my husband and some things seem to take as long as cooking via another method. This was relatively quick, especially with multiple portions.
01/29 160.8 I am so close to having a 5 pound loss in January! Yesterday, I stayed in my calorie goal, but I was not a perfect eater-- with a lot of the calories being from snacking. I think I need to do more meal planning in February. What made the juice cleanse from Pressed Juicery easy for me was the convenience of having the meals ready for me and the calories were 1340, so I could walk my 10,000 steps goal and still be at my 1200 calorie limit. Hopefully, meal planning and prepping will help with the urge to snack.
01/30 160.2 Pretty good day yesterday and happy to see this number. I haven’t been under 160 in two years, so that will be a big milestone for me.
01/31 160.5 have a late night tonight and it’s been raining so challenge today is finding an hour for gym. Excited for February to start though! January has been good so far, but always like the hope of a new month.
02/01 160.6 Went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner yesterday for dinner so had a lot more salt than I usually do. Not sure if that effects the scale, but will monitor. This is my second round so it’s nice to start recognizing reasons for gaining or not losing much day by day.

1/25 - 202.3 (1,700 calories, 11,538 steps) - Reset button worked. I was happy with the calorie number, but not happy with food choices. Need to do better. Very happy with the 2.5mile treadmill run. Let's get that again today. Good luck to everyone heading into the weekend!
1/26 - Did not forget to weigh-in, just avoided.

Goal is to get in that 195-200 quadrant and it will take time. Today will be a good day. Good luck to everyone on this beautiful Sunday!
1/28 - Did not weigh. Need to get back in my rhythm.
1/29 - 201.3 (Did not track calories, 11,519 steps) - Happy with the weight this morning. The darn dinner and night binge is my achilles heel. Need to conquer it! Looking to hit all goals today - track calories, 10,000 steps, and exercise. Already got the exercise with a 2.8 treadmill run. Good luck to everyone today. Let's finish this round strong!!!
1/30 - 203.2 (Did not track calories, 17,559 steps) The yo-yo between 201 and 203 continues. Need to track calories today because the dinner/night binge comes at me strong. Happy with my fitness yesterday. Let's get that food on track. Want to finish this round under!!!
1/31 - Did not do anything. Ugh!
2/1- 202.3 (Did not track calories and steps). I am glad to see I maintained this round. Round 66 was not my friend. I will be best friends with Round 67. One thing I will do differently is make one easy goal. Too many goals leads to me not accomplishing anything. Bring on Round 67!!!! Let's do it.15 -
Trying the photo thing today. We got about 6 inches of snow. I stayed home from work. Roads were too nasty today. Finally made it to Onederland! Update after bit.

SW = 160
CW = 151.3
RGW = 150
UGW = 135
Round 64 loss = 5lb
Round 65 loss = 3.7lbs
1/23 = 151.3 ugh, did not get in exercise, did not drink enough water. I'm still recovering from the flu and not happy about the progress stalling it causes. Setting a modest goal this round as I can feel the slow down.
1/24 = 152.4
1/25 = 152.3
1/26 = no scale available
1/27 = 152.3
1/28 = 152.8
1/29 = 152.5
1/30 = 151.2 this whole week has been a huge bummer. I can't make the scale move. I'm logging everything, eating within my calories. Not even eating junk. *raises fist to the sky* I really thought hitting 150 would happen this week, it seemed to attainable. I can't even get to a clean 151.
1/31 = 150.6 much better.
2/01 = 149.9 I'm astonished I made this goal. After a week of illness and menstruation induced frozen scale, I really thought I might give up. I'm officially down 10lbs since starting logging at the beginning of January. The rest won't come off so quickly, but looking forward to being back to my "normal" weight of the past.13 -
@teriraleigh Congrats on exceeding your January goal! Keep it up!
@gcr2012 Congratulations on making your January goal! Remember to watch 2-3 days out for changes to be reflected on the scale.
Welcome back @NormaV14 and @jerier!4
