    Im in! I actually started losing about three weeks ago. My start weight was originally 245lbs now I'm at 237lbs. Hoping to lose about a lb or 2 a week. That's what I've been doing the last few weeks, so far so good.

    @spiritofalady & @sonteria, Welcome! Such great losses to start! As you can see, I started my current weight loss journey somewhere in the middle of your start weights. If you open my spoiler, you can read my progression from April 2018. Please stay encouraged during your journey and take time to learn what your body is telling you. Note: A fast gain is usually water retention and will take a day or two or 3! to release. I am always battling fluid retention. No matter what day you weigh in, come back the days in between for encouragement, support and to vent if you need to. We're in this together. ❤ Much success to you both!

    JUNE 15 - I have re-started my weight loss!! I am calling this "week 10" and ignoring the weeks I was off-track - it's a coping mechanism to help get me back on track.
    JULY 07 - I am back on track although the bumps along the road take an emotional toll. See you next week!
    JULY 21 - it feels a bit like "slow and steady" right now, but we all know the adage!
    Finally in the next decade! YES!
    AUGUST 25 - a 2 week road trip of eating out, stalled me ... but not for long!! Getting back in the swing!
    SEPT 15 - well, after 4 days in ONDERLAND, I am starting to accept it is true! And to trust in this long process of ups and downs.
    2019
    JAN 2019 - I managed to get over my complete loss of motivation and I am back. Started tracking and logging just before Christmas and the 5 to 10 pound neglect gain has finally shifted. I am in the mindset to stay back on the horse til the end of the year; but I know it takes a lot of hard work and a lot of consistency! I do feel ready though as I need this fat to come off me.
    FEB 16 2019 - I am feeling really happy that I am finally loosing again. It's hard work and consistent commitment and I am still in day-by-day, week-by-week mode. I really want to maintain this for the entire year in order to see the kinds of results that I need and want.

    @spiritofalady & @sonteria, Echoing the welcome from @Tiabirdie56! I would encourage you to start making a weekly log of those weights ... over time you will see the trend, and accountability can also be a really powerful tool on this journey. We have both been logging here for a while and it really is a bit like "slow and steady wins the race!" haha ... looking forward to reading your updates :smile:

    I'm super excited. I am hoping to be a permanent member of 1-derland now! I haven't seen that "2" in a about a week now, and hoping to keep it that way!! Every new decade is exciting, but this one feels really victorious especially after hovering around 200 for months! I am working really hard to continue this current downward trend!

    2) Drink plenty of water - aiming for 100 oz/day this week
    3) At least one 45+ minute exercise session/day, with 450+ total for the week (so extra some days) (walking, martial arts, yoga, step aerobics, stretching, etc.)
