Then I get to the gym and all the rooms are in use for the two hour window I have available. Okay, I’ll go out to the outdoor strip of sidewalk and do a session out there. On the concrete. In 36 degree weather. Goal accomplished, hands only minorly angry (probably bc they were so cold I couldn’t feel the roughness 😆). And noted, need to align my schedule with room availability.
Rooms for what? Just curious. You look amazing by the way!3 -
NSV: I cross-country skied 23 miles, farther than I ever skied before.18

Joined a gym and have actually been going! The last time I had a gym membership was over 10 years ago, and I went once in the course of a year probably. I'm shocked, frankly.
Yesterday I jogged for 20 continuous minutes on the treadmill (but not fast). Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to recall that 20 minutes was some kind of benchmark for c25k. Those of you who are doing it, have I achieved something?
All my life running has been a real weak point in my fitness level. I could walk 5 hours but not run 5 minutes. Honestly I don't know what changed because I've mostly just done walking as my exercise to lose the weight. While I do know that jogging on a treadmill and jogging on the street are two different things in terms of exertion level, I could not be more surprised and thrilled to realise this accomplishment.22 -
Here’s my latest, more cinch required than the last one I shared.

new project. make my bed frame less squeaky19 -
My most recent: All my shoes are too big AND the first person outside my family noticed my weight loss. A nurse at my doctors office (who hasn't seen me in 6 months) said "You've lost a lot of weight haven't you? Well done!"25

I haven’t worked out or logged for nearly a week and I’m feeling great about it because my baby girl was born early Thursday morning and she’s perfect and taking care of her is way more fun and important than logging meals and getting in a workout for the time being.59

I can wear certain underwear that were once way too tight.17

My measurement between December 22nd 2018 and Feb. 15th 2019. 10 pounds and 4 inches. Not much, but enough to keep me motivated for a while.16

I have three daughters who are Girl Scouts and are selling cookies.
I am a school teacher (high school) and have BOXES and BOXES of cookies at school I'm selling for my daughters (and they are flying off the shelves).
My NSV? I've not eaten a single Girl Scout cookie this round.46 -
@ecmorgan101, my kind of guy, disciplined spelled DISCIPLINED! Keep up the good work and collect your NSVs along the way.9

I put on 3lb due to TOM/Salt intake/full moon/day ending in 'y', who knows.
I'm absolutely typical pear shape. All my weight is on my legs and they're lumpy bumpy at their fattest. My NSV for today is that, despite putting on those 3lb over the past couple of days, I can see the lumpy bumpy parts of my legs disappear! It's this NSV that makes the number on the scale not matter so much.
I'm also spectacularly pleased for my husband who is a mfp newbie. After about 6 weeks he's lost over a stone (he has a lot to lose and that includes the "water weight" initial loss - he's evened out to about 2lb a week) and he's got to buy new trousers and make new holes in his belt already! His happy little face this morning was so adorable35 -

Thanks . I don’t actually do any group fitness classes but I’ll use one of the rooms when they’re empty for my mobility work. 10-30 minutes of doing frog hops, bear crawls, and monkey moves is so much more pleasant in a big empty room than in my cramped little bedroom, trying to maneuver around furniture!11 -

Yesterday I managed to keep my pace at or above 8km/h for all the jogs of week 3 day 2 of c25k. I've been working at this for a few weeks so it's good to know I can finally do it.
This morning was week 4 day 2 again. No work on pace this morning. I looked down at one stage and was going only 6.5km/h so I did up my speed a bit then, but this morning the achievement was just keeping going. My other half had a bad night sleep last night and all of his tossing and turning kept me awake. I could have easily stayed in bed this morning, especially knowing I have bootcamp this afternoon, but I got myself up and off I went knowing that an extra hour of sleep wasn't going to make me feel any better anyway, but the walk & jog would wake me up, which it did 😁
On Tuesday my boss and the other lady I work with both commented that they could really see that I'm losing weight now. They both mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, but they said you can really tell now. They both know I've been trying to lose weight so it's good to know that others can see it now too.
Then yesterday, a patient and friend from a property out of town who doesn't come in very often asked me what I'd been doing. In my true ditzy self, not getting what he was talking about replied with "mowing", he laughed and said "You've been doing a lot more than mowing by the looks of it, you're losing weight" 😂12 -
