Managed to reach my first nsv of fitting comfortably into all my work clothes post mat leave. Now my next goal is to NOT fit into them, and accidentally save enough money each month by bringing lunch that I can buy a whole new work wardrobe in six months time.28

Bought extra small board shorts yesterday19

Pulled out some old tights I used to wear, like 22+ years ago... and tried them on. THEY'RE TOO BIG! :-D28

222 days, 101lbs lost. That's my NSV today.39

Moved up a notch on my belt! When I bought this belt when I went into maintenance, I used the largest or second largest notch (very tight). I have been on the third notch for a couple of months, now I had to move to the fourth notch! Granted the leather has probably stretched a wee bit, but not that much! I had to change it yesterday and I thought it was a fluke, but today I still need it there.17

Fitting in to the last of the jeans I had held onto. Wish I saved the smaller sizes but will happily go shopping when I need another size down! I also need to resize my wedding ring!!23

I haven't posted on this thread in a long time. However, I read it every day and get inspired. Well last evening I had a NSV! I've been forced inside lately to do my cardio due to a lot of rain. Yesterday I needed to get my run in so I went to the gym after work and it was packed. I usually get a treadmill closer to the back but they were all taken. Now in the past I've just left and went home but yesterday I was determined to get it done. I got on the only one open on the front row and did my time and left. Once I was home I thought dang I did it, I let people look at the back of me while running. Still shocked at myself...lol..40

Getting on the floor and “exercising”...really it was just a 15 minute upper body stretch routine bc I can’t do much else post ankle surgery, but it was a great feeling!18

A few new ones for me:
-I ran 16 km a couple days ago. I'm sore, but not crazzzzzy sore.
-I don't need to dread running up hills anymore. I can slow my pace and run up them without my legs feeling much different.
-Riding a snowmobile is much more comfortable
-My ski pants are huge and the zipper on the side of them no longer comes undone when I sit.
-Walking through deep snow is so much easier than it was last year. I no longer dread it and I'm not too lazy to get off my snowmobile.

I've been doing C25K and was scared of week 3 day 1 because I had to run for 3 minutes straight. I don't believe I have ever run for 3 minutes straight... at least not as an adult. But I was able to do it without stopping and sure I was slow and panting but I did it. On to week 3 day 2 if only there was somewhere to run that didn't have SNOW on it!!!23

I went for a walk today just to keep up the habit, even though I'm still recovering from a cold (feeling fine, just feeling a little congested still). I just took it easy and brought tissues with me.21

The uniform pants I bought in November are now too baggy!22

I'm wearing zip-up jeans again, yeah....it is a big deal. :-)39

I bought a size 8 jeans and I thought if I washed them I can never wear them but they were fine, sure better than 14-16s, I still cant believe it !28

@brenn24179 all things are relative. I am so happy to be in 16s and a few bigger 14s. Congrats I'm going to get there some day.20

Get better quickly!3 -
Going onto my 4th day now, of no snacking between meals22

I took my fifth graders on a field trip today. It was much easier to walk down the bus aisle. I didn’t have to turn to the side at all.29

May sound odd, but I got my doctor to weigh me so it's up to date in their system, so when I've lost some in a couple of months it's there properly. Will help with getting me kept on the medication I'm on when I move house and doctor.
The fact I'm sure enough that I'll keep losing to get on a doctor's scale willingly feels like a weird victory.21 -
So, having cycled 125 miles this week, the running total for my bike is now 11,200 miles.
And a worn out set of front axle bearings.
Although I think that they were wearing out a couple of hundred miles ago but we thought that it was something else that was making a weird noise . . .19 -

Congratulations.
I tried C25K this morning just to see if I could actually run. I was slow but I was actually running for the first time in years. When I started on this life there is no way I could run and distance. No wind and my knees would not have lasted.
I'm going to keep at it try to and actually do a 5K this summer.18 -
I made it to the gym today. I overcame the resistance. I didn't do the easy thing and skip another day.23

I was surprised how much room there was in the bathtub. It’s been months since I had a hot soak in the tub....dang if there wasn’t almost room for two in there!!!26

I have a few...
- increased my speed on sprints in C25K! Felt great! 😊😊😊😊
- ate pizza for dinner last night and didn't feel guilty. I measured out the pieces, logged it and absolutely enjoyed every bite. I came under my net calories for the day, however I was convinced that the extra salt would cause a slight increase. It didn't!
- Increased weight on all my strength exercises. My PT is really impressed 😀😀😀😀😀
- I can see a difference in my body shape, I saw glimpses of muscles in my arms and I feel so happy.19 -
140 rpm @ level 25 is my fastest rpm and intensity. That was insane.
17 miles / 50:46 / 576 calories
3 miles / 9:16 / 99 calories
20 miles / 60:02 / 675 calories
Good ride. Good end to the week. Broke 101lbs this week and did 51 miles. NSV.16 -
