02/24- 359.8 Up a little water weight this morning and I wasn't surprised because I could visibly see the swelling in my legs and feet last night. Yesterday I stayed on track with calories, added a bunch of steps to my day, and added in an extra exercise session. I know that I'll see the scale go down again within the next few days, or at worst after tom, which is upcoming any day now.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

02/22 197.2 it really does help to exercise and not eat late at night 😄. Good start for the next ten days but the weekend is coming up and I have plans to eat out tomorrow and the husband is home this weekend, we are on opposite scales of eating, I just need to stay disciplined. Happy weekend all!!

2/22 - 315.8 - This was nice to see. And I have been sticking to my weighing plan. I’m still a little stressed from the other night; it kinda triggered my PTSD. BUT I am calmer this afternoon. Food has still been good; it’s just been more of a struggle.
2/23 - NW - Yesterday, I was on par with eating, maybe a little light due to being out of the apartment during key eating times. Today, similar thing and I am out of olives, BUT I have a plan. I did a heartbreaking episode of Zombies, Run! yesterday and will do another one today. Since the sun has come out I am going to do it outside instead of pacing in my apartment or walking circles around the community room. As the weather turns to more warm days I will start doing Z5K training, AGAIN, but this time I should be able to finish it. I have hope for more activity in the future.
2/24 - 212.2 - I walked outside yesterday! It's more challenging outside with the ups and downs of the landscape vs the flat ground of the community room or my apartment, and I loved every moment of it. If it's not too cold I'm going to repeat it today, just a supply run not a full episode of Zombies, Run! Food is fairly on point according to the sheet the dietitian gave me. I'm settling down emotionally from the trigger earlier in the week.

02/22 – 298.8 – I was craving everything and anything unhealthy. I mean really just wanted to eat anything. I didn’t give in to cravings and made a healthier choice by just having a creamsicle instead.
02/23 – 298.2 – Another day of crazy cravings! ARGH! Ate a piece of bacon that made my stomach hurt, felt a bit guilty but then reminded myself it was only one. And, I can eat bacon just not every day.

02/22 299.6 Not sure if this will stay or not since I didn’t get enough calories yesterday. I do have a bunch of cleaning to do today though so maybe the added exercise will help.
02/23 298.2 So yesterday I had a lot to clean since I had a realtor coming over to see my house. I ate a small breakfast but I missed lunch. After that I went to my grandma’s house and they ended up ordering pizza for dinner. I made sure to add it to my diary and keep it under my calorie goal which wasn’t too hard given that I had a light breakfast and missed lunch. It wasn’t a perfect day but what day is? I figured the sodium would get me though. Pleasantly surprised this morning
02/24 298.0 Small loss from yesterday. I’ll take it. It was a very lazy day. Didn’t really have anything to do and it was very rainy so we stayed home most of the day. I also had a really bad headache so I just took it easy.

02/23 137.6 lb. I am loving this new life I'm building. I have been so sore since starting to incorporate jogging but I still keep my body moving. Yesterday I did the 5K in 43 minutes and although that is pretty slow for 3.1 miles (I did a lot of walking), I can only go up from here! My friend and I are going to sign up for a timed 5K in a couple months and I'm also thinking of doing Bay to Breakers! 🌉 We'll see!
02/24 136.6 lbs. Yesterday was kind of crazy, I was out of the house all day and I knew I had dinner plans with my family so I decided to save up most of my calories for that. But what I ended up doing was compensating with lots of cafinated drinks and I didn't drink much water. At the end of the day I think I didn't eat enough and the caffiene's diuretic effects have led me to lose a lot of water weight. So I'll probably be back up tomorrow once I replenish my fluids.

2/22-166-I leave my dad today, after taking care of him and his new knee. After the weekend, will go to where my husband and I are going to live. I look forward to living with my husband and getting to walk up and down the long paved driveway there, where we will be living (waiting for the house to be built).
2/23-166-Yesterday before I left my dad’s house, I rode 20 last miles on his bike. My legs were sore the rest of the day and that felt good. Today we will go help set up and work at a fundraiser that will have heavy food, lots of drinks and it will be a late night.
2/24-169-Heavy food and a late night. I need to drink lots of water and no alcohol. Hopefully I can get a walk in later. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everybody!!!

02/23 ~ 214.4 – met water and exercise goals yesterday, but still a bit carb crazy. Hoping some cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles helps with that today.

02/22 …..188.8 ….. Bad start after pool hall & potluck. Yesterdays stats: 2032 Calories In / 2419 Calories Out. Net Carbs 156. 11,586 Total Steps & 4.9 Miles. IF 16:8. I slept 4 hours & 38 minutes. 02/23 …..189.0 ….. This scale weight could have been much worse! I also made HORRIBLE food choices yesterday, or specifically last night. For the last two days I have not been eating dinner because I haven’t been hungry. Then comes late night…. Absolutely STARVING but too tired to cook. Too tired to even heat up my prepped food! So I start grabbing all the quick high calorie & high carb junk trying to turn it into a meal and if I eat enough of it, it works and fills me. So I logged it all (again) this morning and I see the pattern. I MUST EAT DINNER at some reasonable point, no matter how tired! Little Debbies & Oreos are not nice to the scale the next day! This is where logging really helps. I see the pattern emerging & will plan better. Here goes my embarrassing stats: 2653 Calories In / 2248 Calories out. 198 Net Carbs (the little Debbies are so much worse than the Oreos!). 10,183 Total Steps & 4.32 Miles. No IF yesterday. I slept 4 hours & 12 minutes & suffered severe Restless Leg Syndrome all night from the sugar. I very briskly walked for 17 minutes but did not dance yesterday. Too busy during the day & too tired last night. I will try to make today a better day. Perhaps I will do a one day Egg Fast to jump start me. My goal today is to keep my son’s snacks away from me. I control them well with him but not with myself so I feel very guilty about that today. He doesn’t deserve this. I don’t deserve this, I’ve worked way too hard. My goal is to stay on plan when at home or work. When I travel that is difficult to do at Restaurants or places where I can’t easily plan the food. But at least being off-plan is with real food. Chinese restaurant or Mexican, or pasta. Even that could be improved upon. But at least it's not Little Debbies & Oreos as a meal! New day & new insight into my patterns! Ground Zero!
02/24 ….. 189.0 ….. I am trusting the process here. Good day yesterday. 1111 Calories in / 2369 Calories Out. 14 Net Carbs. 13,161 Total Steps & 5.57 Total Miles. IF 17:7. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I charged my Fitbit overnight, but got over 5 hours of sleep. I danced for 41 minutes, Sample Song “The Wanderer” by Dion. Tons of work today. I will get my steps in no problem.
