02/22 176.4 Woosh! great way to start the round. Have some DOMS today from yesterdays work out so I will try to get some walking in today, despite the grey rainy weather. The days are getting longer if not yet brighter.

02/24 176.0
02/25 177.4 The wind storm we are having is making me anxious and keeping me indoors. Anxiety eating yesterday but able to keep it at maintenance cals.

02/22 - 144.4
I did a little better yesterday, but still snacked a bit. Step by step, pound by pound, back to where I was before November - no sugar or salt cravings.
02/23 - 143.4
I have to bake cornbread this afternoon for a chili & cornbread cook off/fundraiser tonight, so salad for lunch -- and I'm hitting the gym this morning. We'll see if I continue to downward trend despite - ymmmm - cornbreads to sample! Have a lovely weekend, all.
02/24 - 145
Ooops. Too many chili samples, bowls, & cornbreads, and salt. Good, though! This gain is temporary. On to the new week, starting today. Have a good Sunday, and week to come!
02/25 - 145
I mostly behaved myself yesterday, other than some cookies at UU. But we had high winds and once home I didn't want to go back out to the Y, so not much exercise beyond a little cleaning/organizing. I plan to get there today for weights & walking and/or biking. And I'm determined to stick to my calorie goal this week. I hope.
@TerriRichardson112 Lovely photo! Where are you? I'm guessing Ireland since Scotland is a smudge? I'm dying to get back to both sometime soon - my ma was Scottish, and I've loved Ireland since my first visit.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

02/22 179.1 Going down is always good. I got in a three mile walk last night, unfortunately I woke up feeling like crap. I've had breakfast and a pill, I hope to feel better soon. I want to walk tonight but since I also want to go to bed it doesn't look good. I took this as I was leaving the park last night. I thought it looked cool.
02/23 176.5 Down again is good news. Bad news is I’m completely sick. Left work early yesterday and was back in bed and asleep by 11:00 a.m. Ate enough food to keep medicine down but not much else. No walk last night or today. Fingers crossed I’ll be back to normal tomorrow.
02/24 175.5 Down again still good. I suspect it will be up tomorrow, only because I haven't really eaten much for two days. Feeling better this morning after a rough night. Still achy but no fever and I can breathe! So fancy. My joints hurt, I feel like its from laying down for 48 hours I as much as being sick. I did have a NSV while being sick. I friend talked me into buying a nightgown that was super cheap but a Large, she was sure it would fit - I was sure it wouldn't. Last night I tried it anyway and it fit. Like it's not even tight, it just fits. That felt good.
02/25 173.8 Whoosh!!!!! Six pounds in three days. I don't know if it's from being sick or finally getting rid of retained water. I don't care I'm a happy girl. I did get in a short walk yesterday (only two miles) but got tired quickly. I listened to my body and went home. I took my dog with me even though I knew better because it rained the day before. The sidewalk/trail was clear "mostly" but the front seat of my car is a muddy dog mess. He just gets so excited when I'm putting my shoes on, he's hard to resist. Look how excited he is on the trail ... could you say no??? These pics were not from yesterday but he looks so happy.
Also at 173 I've hit a forty pound loss, which means I'm half way there. I know I've said it before but I don't think I'd be this far down the road without this group. When I'm discouraged because it feels like I'm doing everything right but it's not reflected on the scale - this group helps me. A thousand thank yous.

Hi-I’m Karen
Sept. 2018 OSW 187 (My Round #1)
UGW 135.....yes, 135!
2/22-166-I leave my dad today, after taking care of him and his new knee. After the weekend, will go to where my husband and I are going to live. I look forward to living with my husband and getting to walk up and down the long paved driveway there, where we will be living (waiting for the house to be built).
2/23-166-Yesterday before I left my dad’s house, I rode 20 last miles on his bike. My legs were sore the rest of the day and that felt good. Today we will go help set up and work at a fundraiser that will have heavy food, lots of drinks and it will be a late night.
2/24-169-Heavy food and a late night. I need to drink lots of water and no alcohol. Hopefully I can get a walk in later. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everybody!!!
2/25-169-That’s OK after long hours and n the car and quick heavy dinner. We made it to our new temporary housing while our house is being built. It is great because there is a long paved driveway and I can walk the dogs every day.😊
I am glad all of you are here! I love reading all of your posts while I drink my coffee in the morning. ☕️🌷12 -

Day/Weight/Comment
02/22: 227.8: 14,347 steps, started couch to 5k again (last time I hurt myself and couldn't keep up the running). Got in running/walking time, some weights, jacuzzi/pool time, went out for dinner and walk around town even though there is still ice and snow on the ground!
02/23: 227.8: 4,682 steps, I had to work the dayshift and I was unable to get to the gym before it closed. But watched my calories and made sure not to overeat while at work, which is an amazing feat in of itself.
02/24: 224.3: Steps are still counting for the day but they are going to be low. My hip has been out again and causing tremendous pain down my leg. I am going to make it tomorrow no matter what and try and walk it out. I was happy with my loss. Getting back into the grove of my diet always shows tremendous gains (or losses!). I just have to be mindful while eating at ork and not overeat.
02/25: 227.1: I knew there was going to be a gain. With no gym and barely any moving around yesterday I just couldn't see how sitting around and eating would help. I am off to do shopping and the gym before heading to work, so hopefully back on losing weight train. I think I overate at dinner and at too much salad and chicken, who knew but I didn't stop when I was full. I need to be more aware of that, especially at work.

02/25-360.2 Frustrating and disappointing. I keep telling myself this is just a pre tom flux, plus I didn't sleep well last night. I've stayed on track with calories, I'm weighing my food, and I've added in a bunch of steps. I'm up about 1.5k steps over what I was doing before. Therefore I know for a fact that this is only water weight and I'm sure I'll see the downward by the end of the ten days. My nsv yesterday was keeping up with the added steps and not eating the bread my husband baked yesterday.

A bit over my calorie limit yesterday, but busted out a spin class, which hopefully helped burn some Kcals up!
I have a coffee addiction. Would be OK except for I love it with lots of cream and sugar!! Need to limit that, I see from my log. I have been tracking my food for 20 days now, and can definitely see the sneaky little snacks and drinks adding up! I have stopped drinking fruit juice, and eating chips & salsa (my favorite mindless munchie!) Eating more salads. One step at a time! Leaving on a trip at 3AM tomorrow, so not sure if I will find a place to weigh-in, but will try.

02/22: 311.00 (-4.5) - New low, always nice! Bit surprised actually, triple checked. Due to this bad cold I'm still only making sure I come in under maintainance. Came in with a decent defecit yesterday though, so we'll see. Basically working on this week being steady. I always struggle when ill to not overeat, maintainance seems a good compromise. I updated my goals again recently, so my calorie goal changes, dropped by 50 a day. I think updating regularly so it's only small drops will be best so I'm not feeling like it's getting more restrictive in larger amounts.
02/23: 309.75 (-1.25) - Guess I'm not past wooshing after all! Still got a cold, but feeling better. I assume this is loss from the weekend catching up.
02/24: 312.75 (+3.00) - Ate nearly to maintainance yesterday, as I went very ill again, and I forgot to weigh until after breakfast. Hopefully be back to a defecit soon.
02/25: 311.75 (-1.00) - An earlier weigh was heavier I think, but I was half asleep and can't remember the number.
So with feeling ill I've just been trying to stay under maintainance calories. Yesterday I ate biscuits and cake and such, again. And I felt awful from it, both from overeating in general and what it was. I'm very much back on the bandwagon today just from how I felt, because that's likely not helping my fatigue. And what's horrifying is 2 months ago, that'd have been a pretty good day. Week, in fact. I ate a pack of biscuits over the week, I'd have eaten them in a day before. And another the next day. It's scary what I've been doing to my body, and how bad it made me feel day to day has just hit me like a truck. How much of my fatigue is currently (and has been before) because I'm not eating well? I love my body more than this.

02/22: 152.6
As predicted, my waterweight loss has stopped now that I’ve lost precisely 2 lbs. Ate very good yesterday so I’m ok with that.
02/23: 152.6
Ah, the beginning of my first plateau.
02/24: Didn’t weigh myself this AM. My husband bought Girl Scout cookies yesterday and I binged on them last night and woke up bloated. So annoyed but today I did better.
02/25: 153.4
Well, at least I’m not ALL the way back up to where I was and this time when I ate cookies I logged them so I knew how many calories I was taking in. Additional bonus, there are none left in the house that I like. I told him that if he bought any more he needed to keep them in his car. We also have that rule with Nutella (lol). Now I just have to RE-detox off of all this sugar which is the worst. I want to blame my husband but it is also on me because I have no self-control.
