3/4-166-Birthday cake and ice cream for dinner with our widowed friend. (All of our kids are grown and gone.)I knew I was going to feel awful, so I had milk with protein powder and some peanut butter....Our friend is very trim and fit and I never see her eat crap like that, but yesterday was her exception, and we happily joined in. I got her flowers (because I see how healthy she eats)and her sister in law brought her a cake and ice cream and I realized what a wonderful gesture that was because I realized nobody else provided her with a cake and she is a mom. I realized then, that “every mom deserves a cake”.
3/4-162-That is a swoosh I had been expecting. I ate sensibly yesterday and got to walk in the morning and evening.
You people are the only people on earth who know how much I weigh!

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

03/04177.2 I was super tired yesterday and I'm feeling like TOM is about to start. I went a smidge over calories but I got in a short walk too. I have a short week at work, which is nice. Tomorrow is my day off, but my son and I both have dentist appointments. Then I work Wednesday and get Thursday, Friday and the weekend off! I'm thinking of something fun to do on those days!

@quiltingjaine, IMO, most cravings are linked to vitamin/mineral deficiencies. Dill pickles? Probably an electrolyte. Mayo? Maybe not enough fat intake. Cheese? Calcium? Recently I've read that craving cheese could be omega 3 deficiency. I've just gotten to the cause of my own strange craving.11

03/04: 312.50 (+4.00) - Not a surprise or a worry. I'm having severe fatigue issues right now, I treated myself to whatever I wanted from a fish and chip shop yesterday evening, a lot of deep fried food, a lot of salt, and overall an extremely heavy evening meal. Expected a gain today. Still feel full from it! Kept it light until then, so only came in around maintainance. Planning the same today calorie-wise for my sanity, and in the hopes a small refeed may help my fatigue. This is my pill free week so I'm more prone to gaining and holding water during it, I have no idea how I'll do this week, I'll make sure I'm under maintainance, otherwise I'm not too worried, although I'd like to go back to my defecit tomorrow. I won't allow myself over and regaining weight, losing it is best for my health in the long run! But fatigue always makes me very hungry, hence the sanity side of a refeed. Tricky balance at times.

Have been feeling a little on the hungry side all last round so was expecting to see a drop – but not yet. Figured out my BMR and realized that even at 1200 cals. I am only at a slight deficit (300) so that being sloppy on counting, having a little treat or two, puts me at maintenance. Checked what I’d put into MFP at the beginning and discovered - exercise 30 min./day. That was because I had my dog at that point and had to walk her at least that each day; usually it was 45 – 60. min. Now I go to the gym and exercise much harder but only 2 or maybe 3 times a week. Yes, I’m also maintaining at the wrong weight. That helped me figure out my goals for this round. There has to be a way down, just have to find what it is.

03/04 - 195 - starting here. I have started my diet again. I went through some really stressful things and couldn't stop eating. It resulted in a gain of 35 pounds. I want to get it off and get back on track for where I want to be. I am struggling to find the right incentive and I am really hoping that groups like this one are going to be helpful.
03/05 - 193.4 - Gotta love water weight. As you will see I fluctuate wildly in in weight, but I only record a real loss once I am consistent. It's hard to measure improvement when in one day I can change 3/4 pounds. Note I weigh myself first thing in the morning daily.

In again. I'm pleased that I stayed in 147, so I did lose a tiny bit last challenge, too much going on mentally and hormonally ( That's not a word I know)

Good things I don't take sugar in my coffee anymore , I'm 35 inch waist which is supposed to be less of a concern for diabetes, Im almost into a dress size smaller andI have lost 5% of my body weight so far
