03/04 177.2I was super tired yesterday and I'm feeling like TOM is about to start. I went a smidge over calories but I got in a short walk too. I have a short week at work, which is nice. Tomorrow is my day off, but my son and I both have dentist appointments. Then I work Wednesday and get Thursday, Friday and the weekend off! I'm thinking of something fun to do on those days!
03/05 177 My son and I both have dentist appointments today, and I’m considering getting some walking in. Have a great day today!
03/06 176.4 I had a pretty good day yesterday. The dentist trip wasn't too terrible and I got in some relaxing. I was within calories, did not meet my step goal but did get in a 30 minute workout.
03/07 176.8 I got in lots of steps yesterday and did a short Walk At Home workout. It was snowing so I didn't feel like walking outside. 😆 Today I’m having lunch with my Mom and sister and taking my son to see LEGO Movie 2! I totally plan to bring my own snacks!
03/08 175.6 Happy surprise! I don't know why I'm surprised though. I've been within calories. I keep thinking I'm a about to "start" any day now, so I think that's why I'm surprised. I'm going to try and get my steps in even if it is lightly snowing! I'm so ready for it to warm up! Even my husband was saying is all we've been doing is coming home from work and having dinner, then watching TV or a movie. He's right. We could probably do a game night, which would be fun. When it warms up, we can get out more!
03/09 175.4 Nice! I’m going to go for my step goal today. And today…I’m going to try Chick Fil-A for the first time! I’ve already tracked it. Being gluten intolerant, fast food just doesn’t seem like an option so I don’t even think to try it. But I did see that they had some gluten free options. So cool! I’m excited!
03/10 175.8 Yesterday, I got some sad news. We’ve known for a while our dog was on the decline. She lived a long life, I’m thinking around 18 years. We got her before I even met my husband. And she and my son had a connection. We knew this was coming and I am sad that she is now gone, but I’m relieved that she’s no longer hurting.
Other than that, I also started. I had considered skipping weighing in for a few days, but decided against it. Time of month can bring a temporary gain, but it’s not something to stress over. So I’ll continue on logging and learning!
03/11 176.6 I think this is a combo of water weight gain and going to a movie yesterday. We saw Captain Marvel and I did bring my own snacks, but also had some popcorn too. I think I was within calories. It'll be off in a few days.
03/12 178 😱 I know I said I was going to keep logging my weight even though it was TOM but yikes!
I was within calories yesterday and I got in a workout. I need to remember this is a temporary fluctuation. I think this is why this challenge is helpful.

Okay so I am back again starting afresh with my new scales. I’ve had a really rough time of it lately with my personal life and then giving up smoking (16th day of going cold turkey, whoop!) and I have just been eating terribly, now it’s time to focus on loosing weight again so here I am.
Day/Weight/Comment
03/04- 227.4- fast day today, I would like to reach 10,000steps, it’s not raining so no excuses!
03/05- 224.4 whoosh, still up 4lb since before I decided to quit smoking. Yesterday was a success in my books, 770cals in, 15800 steps, in bed by 10pm. I did struggle to get to sleep and stay asleep so feeling tired today. Today's goals are to stay under 1700cals.
03/06- 225.8- I ate very late night last night which could explain the bigger than usual gain. 8500steps, 1350cals, not enough sleep again. Today is a fast day, I want to get over 10,000 steps today x
03/07- 224.0- A good day yesterday, 11,000steps, 3200cals out, 600cals in. I feel so tired though, I was in bed at 10pm last night but yet again struggled to sleep and when I did then my 1yr old was up a lot feeling poorly bless him. This week I am averaging 6hr45min sleep which I just don't think is enough. Today my goals are to stay under my 1700cal goal, I'm not too bothered about steps but it would be nice to get above 7000, but if I need a nap whilst my baby is down il take it. Have a good day all X
03/08 - 224.8 - 12,000 steps, 3100cals out, 1550cals in. Wow got less than 6 hours sleep last night, my little man is still not quite right, at 4am he was determined to get up and out of bed. Today I am fasting and aiming for over 10,000 steps. A very veggie pasta for dinner tonight X
03/09- 222.8 - 12500steps, 3100cals out, 620cals in. Feeling tired again. Today I’m aiming to stay under 2000cals with 7000steps.
03/10- 224.2 - just shy of 6000steps, 2650cals out, 2800cals in. Urgh. Went a little overboard last night, do not feel good for it this morning. My week runs from Sunday to Saturday on my apps so my whole stats for last week were 70,000steps for the week (yay) 1400cals average a day in and 3000cals average a day out, according to Fitbit. I wouldn't take the calories burned too seriously though as they seem rather inflated but those are what my apps are telling me. A good week all in all, it would be nice if I was able to repeat it again.
03/11- 224.4 - 9300steps, 2800cals out, 2600cals in. I had another day where my eating was far from ideal, I shall have to try harder next weekend. Today is a fast day, I want to do 10,000 steps minimum today X
03/12- 224.0 - 17,500 steps, 3450cals out, 780cals in. I'll take it. Today my goal is to stay under 1900cals and to get 8000steps. Hopefully the scale will drop a little more tomorrow morning, I feel like I'm still retaining water from my terrible weekend X

CW: 202, sz 12/14
Goal: 145-165, wherever I feel done (2006-2014 weight)
Day/Weight/Comment
03/04 - 202.0 - Cycle day 4, adjusted macros
03/05 - 200.4 - so far, so good!
03/06 - 197.6 - this is typically where my weight rests, in the 5+/- this number. Ready to see -5 from here!
03/07 - 196.4 - I love how easily the weight drops at the beginning. I checked my glucose level this morning (my daughter has T1D) and I’m down 4-10 points, depending on the day I tested. Only 5 more to normal fasting glucose levels!!
03/08 - 195.8 - OMG!!! Fasting glucose of 92!! I really wasn’t expecting to see that this morning, but it’s confirmation for me that I’m doing the right thing. Being down 6.2 lbs isn’t so bad either!!
03/09 - 195.4 - Still doing good, still feeling good! I’ll be busy all day today, so probably limited time to even think about food!
03/10 - 194.2 - I was so tired by yesterday afternoon, but I think it was from the late night a couple of nights ago. I’m feeling satiated with the foods I’m eating and the scale is still heading downward. Win!!
03/11 - 194.8 - Well, I knew this was coming. I ate meatballs yesterday that my mom said were okay and, several meatballs in, my sister asked how she made them without grape jelly. Let’s just say that grape jelly isn’t keto and I expected to see a jump. 😬 I’m still feeling good and I’m still considerably lower than when the challenge started!
03/12 - 195.6 - Hopefully this is the last of the up from Sunday. I feel really good, and I learned the rest of my kata in martial arts last night, so that will give me something to work on at home for extra exercise!

Facts: age: 61, female, 5'3"
Highest weight: 198 (decades ago ... )
Current weight: 134 (highest in a year!)
Lowest weight: 122 (a year ago now -- felt great!!)
Goal weight: anything under 125! I feel so close!
3/04 -- 134.8 letting the dust settle from the weekend!
3/05 -- 134.0 Back to mindful eating! Power yoga tonight (75 minute class!) So maybe back to the 133's tomorrow...
3/6 -- 132.8 Making progress!
3/7 -- 132.3 I am so busy this week (I teach at a community college and it's the week before Spring Break -- so many things to get done!) that I'm literally not thinking about food. This is good! There are lots of cookies and muffins around -- this is bad! It's interesting -- if you just say "oh, I can't eat that!" and laugh, it's kind of empowering. I am in control of what I eat... no one else.
3/8 -- 132.2 Spring is coming -- you can feel it in the air (still cold, but sunny, and well, just a little springier out there! I am pleased with this round so far. Weekend plans all weekend, and of course they all involve eating and drinking with friends. I have to remember how close I am to wearing those summer clothes!
3/9 -- 132.2 No change -- I am aiming for 131! I am reading the Blue Zones Solution and Old in Art School (authors Dan Buettner and Nell Painter) over spring break -- they will keep me mindful! The Blue Zone Diet is really great -- I'm loving the four best beverages -- water, coffee, green tea, and red wine. I drink them all!
3/10-- no weigh in
3/11 -- 134.2 -- and I'm sorry to report that I deserve every bit of those two pounds that showed up. It was a wonderful wild weekend full of Guinness, Mimosas, pizza, chocolate cake (yep!), and even Shrimp and grits! It's a thing! Oh well -- I have morning power yoga, and a week of Spring Break to amend for my shameless choices this weekend.
3/12 -- 132.9 -- A little better... would like to end this round in the 131's.... 2-3 pounds a round would be great results! Yoga yesterday was amazing, btw!

Round 69: 126.3 -> 125 (1.3 lb loss)
4 March: 124.8 lbs * Thrilled to be back for my second round! I have a few tricky days coming up so I'm thankful to have this challenge to help me stay accountable. My goal this round is to get down to 124 (or my more ambitious goal of 123.8).
5 March: 124 lbs * Quite the dramatic drop. And while technically my Round 70 'goal weight', I don't trust it'll stick around. Seems a bit too good to be true, but we'll see. Best of luck to everyone on the glorious and terrifying Pancake Day. I have calories put aside to indulge for dessert tonight!
6 March: 124 lbs * Day 3 of being in the 124s and I couldn't be happier. Very eager to see the elusive 123s! Since it was a food based day yesterday (Pancake Day!), I put 550 calories aside and ate a giant stack of homemade blueberry pancakes and maple syrup with my husband for dessert last night. This was an important day for me because I showed myself that I can participate in food related days/events without going over my calories and without derailing my progress.
7 March: 123.8 lbs * I'm super surprised about this weigh-in for a few reasons. First, I ate about 90% of my calories very close to my nightly eating cutoff of 8PM (homemade cheese and meat board night with my husband!). Second, I went over my daily calories by about 60 to have a piece of chocolate after all the delicious cheese. Third, my TOTM is due any day now and I've been feeling a bit bloated because of it. I felt everything was working against me and that I'd be up today, so I'm REALLY happy to see the scale go down and give me a taste of my 'ambitious round 70 goal'. Hello 123s! I hope I get to see you again tomorrow.
8 March: 124 lbs * TOTM arrived yesterday evening, so here's the slight gain I was anticipating. Feeling bloated and gross today, trying my hardest not to indulge in all the sweet things I used to eat for comfort. Made Nutella on toast for breakfast to keep the cravings at bay . Happy that the gain (if it can even really be counted as that) was so slight, I've had months where it was much, much worse than this. Staying positive and hoping to catch another glimpse of the 123s soon!
9 March: 123.5 lbs * Back to the 123s! I'm excited but also extremely surprised. TOTM was awful yesterday (still not great today) and I allowed myself to eat just a little under maintenance to help with the sluggishness I was feeling. And, let's be honest, I was craving ice cream. Just shows how unpredictable these daily fluctuations can be. Not sure if I'm eating at maintenance again today, I'm leaving the option open if I'm feeling particularly awful again.
10 March: 123.3 lbs * I didn't end up eating at maintenance again yesterday since I started feeling much better. TOTM cravings were running wild regardless. I wanted ice cream and pizza... so I ate it, stayed within my calories, and woke up to the scale having gone down a little this morning. Success! Before I started using MyFitnessPal, wanting pizza on a Saturday night meant eating a medium-large meat lovers pizza and a side by myself along with a litre of coke and more than likely some sort of high calorie sweet for dessert. Last night I enjoyed a small Hawaiian pizza with a glass of water and a 100ml tub of Häagen-Dazs and loved every bite of it! So happy I can keep these impulses in check and still treat myself. That feels like even more of a personal accomplishment than the actual weight loss.
11 March: 123.5 lbs * I did not drink enough water yesterday. Goal today is to have a glass with every meal and a few in between. TOTM is done at least! Really, really hoping I can stay in the 123s for the end of this round.
12 March: 122.8 lbs * I double checked this like 10 times because I thought for sure it was a mistake. I was so focused on the 123s I wasn't even thinking about the 122s, and here they are! Even if the fluctuations bring me back up a little tomorrow I'm still so excited to see a number this low.

03/04: 177.1 I did not post the last three days of last round. I was on the road with no scale, then even after trying to stay low on sodium I was high. It was a rough weekend for me and now it's TOM. I'm traveling again this week so no scale until Thursday. I didn't walk all weekend. I have no excuse other than laziness and bad choices. I could have walked both Friday and Saturday but didn't make it a priority. Now I feel like a bloated slug. My boyfriend broke his wrist last week, which shouldn't be a big deal but he has multiple myeloma which makes his bones brittle and I'm afraid this is a foreshadowing of things to come. He knows it, I know it but we don't talk about it. This is TMI, this post is TMI on multiple levels but it is directly impacting my food and exercise choices. In a few days I'll be back on track and all of these terrible thoughts will be put on a back burner.
03/05 no scale I did ok on food yesterday though there were more chocolate calories than technically necessary but I was within calorie goal. I'm back in St. Louis for the week. I'm going to the gym tonight for weights and staying within calories. I bought a swimsuit so there will be Kris Water Aerobics probably tomorrow night.
03/06 no scale I did stay within calories and worked out last night. This training did allow us to pick our own lunches, which saved some calories but still not what I would choose on my own. Tonight walking or water aerobics? Can't decide maybe a little of both.
03/07 no scale Much better food day yesterday, fewer sweets and more veggies! I got in a 3.7 mile walk around a lake here in St. Louis. It was in the high 30's felt good when the sun was out, not so much otherwise. Driving home today with a stop on the Katy Trail for another walk, just trying to figure out the timing because I also have a webinar I'll have to do from the road. I try to turn my travel time into fun walking time instead of sitting my lazy butt in a hotel all night every night. Here is a pic of the frozen waterfall...
aua8mces6ge8.jpg
03/08 177.2 Well a couple days of eating out every meal will screw me on sodium every week. But my exercise has been on point this week and I know calories in/calories out should have me in a better place. Yesterday's walk was a trail closer to home (the timing did not work out, no Katy trail this week). It was nice, I'll go back. Since it was a Thursday at 4:00 pm and cold I didn't see another human being but lots of deer and about 1,000 squirrels. Definitely going outside tonight- it's supposed to be in the mid 40's. You know it's been a long winter when you're thinking it's going to be 45 degrees.... SWEEET heat wave!
03/09 177.9
03/10 177.2
03/11 176.2 Spent a rare and wonderful weekend with my BF. We only ate out once and I was very good that night. I walked 3 miles on Friday night and another 3 yesterday but nothing on Saturday. I weighed and tracked but did all that thru the phone, I hate posting in here with the phone because it is inconsistent and annoying. I would really like to be down more (of course) but I had such a good weekend that I'm not complaining. I took today off to do all the things I didn't get done. I'm not traveling this week so there is hope for a lower number
03/12 177.9 No exercise yesterday and questionable food choices in that I had one meal all day and that was a reuben with cole slaw and some chocolate chips for dessert. I mean I had half the sandwich for a late lunch (around 4:00) and a the rest for dinner around 8:00p.m. My great niece had heart surgery yesterday (she's 16 months old and the baby in my profile pic). We hung out at the hospital - funny I was telling the parents they needed to eat so they could be in good shape for the baby but somehow forgot to eat myself. I guess it was a do as I say not as I do situation. All the stuff I thought I would get done yesterday didn't happen. The kids said they didn't want us at the hospital but in the end they did so I'm glad I took the day off. There are things more important than my diet. The baby is doing very well and they even let her come home last night (via our house for a few hours). It wasn't open heart surgery - just out patient but her Mom and Dad were so tired I think they just wanted a little more "safe" time, I'm so glad my house is that for them. Now a doctor visit for myself this afternoon. I don't remember what I weighed when I was there in December, we'll see what he thinks.

SW Jan 2019 - 147.5 lb
GW - 135 lb
R67 EW = 141 lb; ∆ = -2.2 lb
R68 EW = 138.2 lb; ∆ = -2.8 lb
R69 EW = 135 lb; ∆ = -3.2 lb
Day/Weight/Comment:
03/04 - 137.4 lbs. (Up 2.4 pounds) I think yesterday was a fluke and that I showed as 135 because I was so dehydrated. I drank like 5 vodka sodas on Saturday night, but I also did so much dancing! Haha. So today I am back to the basics but I have changed my calories to 1480 (losing .5 lb per week). I hope I can stick with this without worrying about gaining weight. 1480 is not that much.
03/05 136.4 lbs. Coming back down 🙌 I had a hard time eating up to my calorie goal yesterday. But I did eat more than 1200, (1346), and since I realized eating too much in the evening is challenging I will add an extra 100 calories to my breakfast 🙂. I think it's my Fitbit that threw me off. I don't want to see my chart turn red (i.e. more calories in than out). But it's mind over matter right now. I am trying to build myself up for life long success.
03/06 136.4 lbs. 😃 This is good! I increased my calories yesterday and I was afraid it might show on the scale (1471). I think this is going great and honestly I had a moment of self reflection yesterday where I realized this last 1.5 pounds doesn't really matter. I'm happy with where my body is at right now. I just don't want to gain weight back. And NSV Yesterday I got a pair of jeans I ordered from Old Navy in the mail and they fit perfectly.
03/07 136.4 lbs. 1477 calories yesterday. Eating more throughout the day has become much easier. When I saw the scale go so quickly to 136.4 again my first thought is maybe the scale is glitching, but in reality I think this is just my new normal and that's just fine. My clothes fit so much better and I feel stronger as well. I've been doing yoga now for 39 straight days and today I am going to start the Dedicate 30 day yoga journey
03/08 137 lbs. Yesterday's stats: 1456 calories, 3,025 mg sodium, 10,000 steps, yoga, and body resistance strength training. Why am I up? I did move my scale to a different part of my floor and it seemed to calculate longer, so my guess is my weight has been creeping up. Also I had way more sodium than I usually do. I need to watch that. But it's just so hard. I can't imagine how much sodium I must have consumed before I started logging. Also I think my water was lower yesterday so I'll drink much more today to see if that helps. ✌️♥️
03/09 136 lbs. Yesterday: 1231 calories, 1853 mg sodium, 10,700k steps including 2 mile jog, and yoga. I'll admit, I went back to eating more restrictive because I didn't like seeing that scale go up, especially right before a weekend. Tonight I am going out of town and Sunday I'll be away all day, so I want to give myself some cushion. Today at 11:30 I am planning on going to a dance class. The dance is called Nia, have any of you done it before? I did it 3 years ago as part of an intensive outpatient program. I was super into it and wish I had continued after I finished. Nia is a unique blend of dance, yoga, Chi Gong and Aikido, that promotes energy, strength and well-being.
03/10 136 lbs. I weighed this AM. My dance class was cancelled and my other plans got cancelled. So I went out to go dancing again instead and had an amazing time! The person who threw the event is a ballroom dancer and all his friends are ballroom dancer, so I got asked to dance with 4 different professional ballroom dancers and they were just making me feel so light on my feet! I drank some, so I think my calories came out even. All and all it was one of those nights where I really appreciated where I am in life and health.
03/11 136.6 lbs. I expected this. I hardly moved at all yesterday and didn't have a bowel movement. I hope after my normal exercise and eating today I go back down. And hopefully I have a BM today 🤞🤞
03/12 136.2 lbs. No BM. We are officially on BM watch 2019 👀😆 I bet I just need to be more active and drink more water. So my goal for the day is to jog and drink 10 glasses of water. I've had 2 already today.17 -

Round 69 SW: 211.6
03/04—211.8—Had a hungry day yesterday, but also an exercise-filled day. My head is fine (I smacked it hard yesterday on the tailgate of my car). This is gonna be a good week.
03/05—211.4—Another rather hungry day, though I was able to keep my calories in a good place. I hate the cold, but I took a nice long walk yesterday while it was in the thirties. I felt fairly invigorated, but I probably won't do that again today.
03/06—212.8—Not a concerning bump for several reasons. 1. Bumps happen; 2. I had a Frosty yesterday; 3. This was an early weigh-in; 4. My digestive system is positively wonky! Still having a good week, though I'm terribly sleepy this moment as I sit at my desk and attempt to write regulatory comments!
03/07—212.6—Tummy troubles continue to plague me and work continues to be very busy. But things are otherwise looking very spiffy! We're in the middle of planning a trip to Ireland in late May that's going to be fabulous.
03/08—211.2—New lows are always nice.
03/09—210.8—Another new low. I'm surprised by this one because we went to the movies last night and I had popcorn. I've had a pretty low-exercise week, though that's about to end since I'm going to do some significant working out in a few minutes.
03/10—212.4—Very sore muscles this morning! One of the exercises I was doing yesterday is either NOT FOR ME or I was doing it wrong because it hurt. Yow. And now I'm stiff and sore, which is less ideal than it sounds!
03/11—211.8—Not a good eating weekend, so I'm pleased this number is what it is! Still sore, but better today.
03/12—211.6—Other than a minor incident involving super hot cinnamon gummi bears, it was a good day!

Day/Weight/Comment
03/04 - 149.4
Well, that makes no sense. I couldn't gain 3 pounds overnight even if my calories were crazy, which they were not. So I'm recording, shrugging, and moving on. Speaking of moving - it's 7F right now and I do not feel like moving myself from my warm house to the Y! Maybe I'll suck it up and go, or maybe just do something here. Anyway, I have my food planned for the day and am working on no stupid snacks. U.S. friends - if you're in the path of the current storms, be safe!
03/05 - 148
I still can't imagine why I'm this high, unless it's due to a massive time lag. Oh well. I'm pretty much back on track, so all is well.
03/06 - 147
I was sick yesterday afternoon - I think a mild reaction to a pneumonia shot I got in the morning - so I skipped dinner and, when I got up around 8 p.m. I had a lovely bowl of ice cream. But I'm back to normal (or as normal as I ever get! ) this morning. Off to the Y in a few minutes. Have a great day, everyone!
03/07 - 147.4
I spoke too soon - I'm still not feeling up to par and I slept most of the day today, which is why I'm late here. I'm also hurting again from the PMR I've been fighting since last summer, so I'm back on an anti-inllammatory diet to see if it will help. I didn't notice much difference last time, but I have to do something. So basically I'm on veggies, fish, chicken, and a little bit of fruit for a bit.
03/08 - 148
To my surprise, I got a good night's sleep even after sleeping most of the day, and I feel MUCH better today. I've also decided not to make my diet quite so restrictive, so I'll be eating as clean as possible, but including whole grains and healthy fats. There is so much conflicting info about food and inflammation - it can make your head explode! But I do have a sense of what makes me feel good and energetic and what makes me feel like crap. Sugar is the biggest offender, and I have it back under control after my crazy 4-month baking spree, which was very weird for me. So I will now limit my baking urge to whole grain, low-/no-sugar items, particularly breads that have nothing in them but the basics. Yum! And now I'm off to the Y! Have a great Friday, all, and thanks for all the hugs last night.
03/09 - 148.4
I'd say I don't understand this, but alas, I do. Vowing to do better. Have a great weekend, all.
03/10 - 148
Better on calories yesterday.
03/11 - 149
Mostly better on calories, although I had some fried chicken yesterday (not something I normally eat) and just too much. I have no idea what's become of my self control.
03/12 - 149
Really good day yesterday until I ate "just a couple" of butterscotch chips I found in the fridge, and then "just a few more." Sigh. Onward. I can't believe this round is almost over. Where did it go???

03/04. 191.6. Up from yesterday, but had a great family, not over the top calories-wise, with wine. Should be lower in next few days. Hoping, hoping to be consistently in the 180’s this time. Very motivated to see numbers I haven’t seen in many years.
03/05. 190.4. Weekend gain nearly gone. Tried some a bit too tight pants on yesterday, and they are now loose.
03/06. 188.8. WOW, did not expect this! But I will take it.
03/07. 187.8
03/08 187.4. Good trend downward BUT now must work had not to gain too much over weekend.weekends are my downfall!
03/09. 189.4. Sigh..I own it: take out Chinese food my DH and DS idea of making dinner! And a couple glasses of wine.
03/10. 190.0. We had a great meal at friends’house. All good food, African curries, rice, and a beautiful salad, and a brandy pudding with whipped cream. All delicious, spiced perfectly! Today, I admit, no regrets about the high calorie count.
03/11. 191.0
03/12. 191.0. There goes my hope of ending in the 180’s! Back one n track today.!

03/04: 202.6 (I’m glad I started at a good number! I lost about 0.4 pounds since yesterday which never happens on a Monday morning. I’m hoping for a great start to the week! Last night I ate some soup and salad and did a 40 minute stepper workout.)
03/05: 201.2 (This drop was nice! I felt very energized last night to do my 2 workouts. One was 20 mins on the elliptical and the other was a core workout. I even made a nice oven fried chicken dinner too which is rare for a Monday since I usually do those on the weekend. I think all this working out is really affecting my energy level , in a good way, and I love it!)
03/06: 201.4 ( A slight increase which most likely has to do with an increase in exercise. On a weekly basis, I increase my minutes on the elliptical and the last two weeks this has been affecting my weight loss with most likely water weight because of my sore muscles. But I’ll stay the course and I’m sure one day the pounds will fall!)
03/07: 200.8 ( I did a short upper body strength training exercise last night and had a couple of slices of cheese pizza! I was very sleepy and I had a wonderful 7 hours of sleep. I’m so close to reaching my goal!)
03/08: 199.4 (wow! I’m finally in ONEderland!!! I cannot believe it. I’ve been trying to get to this number since before my wedding last July! I didn’t work out last night because I was spending time with the family. I ate BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes and Caesar salad last night from a local bbq joint but kept the portions small. I made my goal! Let’s hope it stays this low til the 13th. I always gain on the weekend.)
03/09: 199.6 ( I always expect an increase on the weekend. I did a 45 minute elliptical workout yesterday! My planned meal last night was half a chili burger and fries with some garlic edamame and banana milkshake. SO worth it! 😋)
03/10: 200.6 (I’m shocked I didn’t gain more than this! I had a lot of yummy food including a Chipotle vegetarian burrito. I also did a total body strength training workout yesterday. I usually gain more during the weekend so I think this is a victory for me.)
03/11: 200.6 (So happy I didn't gain! I'm 2 pounds down from last Monday and I think that's definitely a win for me! Monday's I'm heavier so I know I'll get to the 190's again pretty soon as long as I drink tons of water today! 2 more days left and I hope I'm at 199.8 by Wednesday morning. Last night I had some grilled garlic lemon chicken, broccoli and potatoes. I also did a 20 minute interval training workout on the elliptical.)
03/12: 198.6 (Yay a new low! I haven't seen this number in about 10 months. I had lost weight and put it all back on. I feel like this time, I found a way that definitely works for me and I can do this forever! Last night I did a core workout and 20 minutes on the elliptical. I also ate steak, baked potato with butter and sour cream and steamed broccoli for dinner last night! I'm hoping I stay below 199.8 tomorrow to make my goal!)

GOALS THIS ROUND reporting on all the "yesterdays":- under calorie goal 9/10 days: 5/10 so far
- over 10K steps 9/10 days: 6/10 so far
- three strength workouts: 1.5/3 so far
- five cardio workouts: 2/5 so far
3/4 - 134.6 - yesterday wildly over calories, a stress-tired-emo eating day. 5K steps.
Today starting a wellness campaign at work where my goal is 10K steps a day, 5 servings of veg and fruit.
3/5 - 133.4 - yesterday under calorie goal, 12K steps including a 2 mile run with my new (canine) running buddy. Raining today, so getting steps in may be a challenge. Gonna try for 30 flights of the basement stairs at work.
3/6 - 133.4 - yesterday under calorie goal, 10K steps, nice walk at lunchtime. Did 20 flights of stairs, trying for the full 30 today.
3/7 - 132.2 - yesterday under calorie goal, 10K steps, did not manage any stairs since I got absolutely nailed to my desk by emergencies; however got a nice bodyweight strength workout in at home.
3/8 - 133.0 - yesterday a smidge over maint, 13K steps and a run with dogger. Fell running and got some rad rash on my knee... going to work in skinny jeans , which are literally all I have, is unappealing
3/9 -132.8 - yesterday under calorie goal, 7K steps and a few sets of pushups/crunches. Knee a little swollen and stiff but no serious damage.
I owe my strong bones to all the running I did in my 40's and 50's, and tripping while I run is the price I have paid maybe a dozen times ... not coordinated ... I feel like I will be falling in my 80's and NOT breaking bones (in spite of all my osteo risk factors), and saying, thanks younger me for getting on with strength workouts and running! Weight bearing exercise is the BOMB, and in addition, gets me a lot more calories a day to eat!
3/10 -133.0 - yesterday 9K steps but over maintenance calories by 150 ... I did great till evening when I was tired. A few small strength exercises but knee still stiff and sore so nothing heavy duty yet.
3/11 - 133.8 - yesterday violently over calories, eating to flee an illumination and comfort the unexpected 4 hours at work. Eventually got the illumination anyway and feeling so much better today! 6500 steps, did take a walk with dog but knee definitely still sore from the fall last week.
3/12 - 134.2 - yesterday under calorie goal, 10K steps, weight still on the higher side from Sunday's indiscretions.
