3/10 - 174.2 - An early weigh in as far as my fasting schedule. I'm experimenting going back to 12/12 for a week or two for a little break. Expected from increased carbs, but, seems that I haven't learned my lesson about drinking salty water late in the evening.😦 It's okay. 19g carbs, 14g net carbs. Carbs were: salad spaghetti squash, pesto, peanut butter (1.5 TB) YES to vegetables!
3/11 - 170.8 - 16g carbs, 12g net carbs. Carbs were: spaghetti squash, salad, pesto, strawberries. The temptation of the day, sweet potatoes with apricot and mango fruit spread, sprinkled with mace (spice) nutmeg and cinnamon and glazed with drizzles of honey! DH and I went to visit our son, DIL and our little huggables😄 I took lunch/dinner (Lunner, it was closer to lunch time) A baked salmon filet, those sweet potatoes and green beans. Pound cake w/strawberries and whipped cream. I cooked the night before and in the morning. I ate none of that, except for 3 strawberries. My lunch was ground beef and spaghetti squash. My want of starchy carbs is gone I think. GOOD!!
3/12 - 170.4 - 25g carbs, 16g net carbs. Carbs were: beef smoked sausage, guacamole, cauliflower, cabbage, salad, Cucumber ranch dressing. Day 2 of my experiment in the books, successful so far. ☺

03/04--213.1 Went out for breakfast at my favorite place. Didn't drink much water the whole weekend...have to work on that today. Run day today.
03/05--212.9 There was some stress snacking yesterday evening, but I did get out yesterday and finish w6d2 and the run was great. Today is weight training. Working on getting in water today.
03/06--211.2 Had a great training session yesterday as it was the first time I was able to get through all 3 rounds of all of the exercises within my 1 hour training session. The first time I did the exercise routine about 3 weeks ago I wasn't even able to finish 2 rounds. Yoga tonight.
03/07--211.8 Yoga yesterday was great, but I'm tired this morning after being awoken by my sick dog throughout the night. Hubby is bringing dog to vet today. Weight training tonight, but considering how tired I am not sure how motivated I will be.
03/08--212.3 Even though I was tired yesterday I had one of my best workouts with my trainer last night, I increased weight on my lifts and time on my planks. The dog is feeling much better today, but what is even better is that over the past year after my vet told me my dog needed to lose about 10lbs, my dog has lost 12lbs. It's funny, her weight loss came from proper measuring of her food, reducing her snacks, and increasing her activity...exactly what I'm doing. Run day today.
03/09--213.6 I feel bloated today. I had eaten most of daily calories by 1pm yesterday and continued my normal eating for the rest of the day. However, I still finished W6D3 yesterday and I've already gone to the gym this morning and did my weighlifting workout. Rest of day is to run some errands and relax.
03/10--213.1 Feeling heavy today. I found this new snack that I thought fit into my current food sensitivity diet, but I snacked on too many of them and I think there is also something in them that is bothering my system. I gave my husband the rest of the snacks for him to bring to work. I was planning on doing a run today, but my legs are feeling heavy so I think today will be my rest day and I will go for a run tomorrow and I will probably just go for a gentle walk with the dog later today. Going to the movies today and planning on having popcorn.
03/11--212.5 Finished W7D1 today. Went out for lunch today.
03/12--213.6 Not surprised after going out for lunch yesterday and hardly drinking any water all day. I'm sure it also didn't help that I had a bad night of sleeping last night as well. Weightlifting today.

OMG how life has been crazy. I missed 3 days of work last week due to an ear infection that started on 3/5. It turned into a double ear infection, fever, cough, sneezing that would give you whiplash, and required 2nd doctors appt and 2nd antibiotic. Dog sat for my cousin Fri to Sun and came home to Mom, Dad, and Grandma all sick as well. Our whole house is miserable!
I just haven’t taken the time to log foods or jot down any notes. My computer and my phone were the last things on my mind.13 -

The timing was perfect, as I neither missed the trip, nor had to have my appendix out in New York, but safely made it back home with a burgeoning stomach ache--which sent me to the ER the following day! Goal: Maintain between 135 and 140 lb.
I started Round 54 and Keto WOE on September 24, 2018.
Cumulative weight loss for Rounds 54-69 = 43.0 lb. lost in 159 days!
Latest NSV: I achieved my goal weight (135) on the next to last day of Round 69. I was out of town on the last day of the round and didn’t check in. My new goal is to increase strength and stay under 140 lb. Parts of me looks melted now, but I’ll cover those areas, except my face, and firm what I can. I still have muscular calves, and capris can cover my upper legs. I’ll have to stay in the water or wear a long cover-up when I go to the beach.
I had a doctor appointment Friday, and my height was ½” less than last year, so it seems I really am melting. Until a couple of years ago, I was 5’6 1/4”. It’s obvious I’ll never make it to the 5’10” I thought would be a perfect height. I’m fortunate to have a tall husband to help me out!

03/04 135.8 Yesterday was a long, but enjoyable day of singing and testifying with our gospel music group—three concerts. We left early in the morning, and I returned home just before midnight. I worked today, so I’m very tired this evening. The good news is, I can sleep late tomorrow morning. Love it!
03/05 134.4 Now that I’m not trying to lose more, I lose more! Along with loose belly skin, that I’ve had since my twin pregnancy over 30 years ago, I still have a little belly fat, so I hope that’s where muscle toning work will help. I’m so used to the keto WOE now, I think I’ll pretty much stick with that, do weight training, and just eat a little more than I’ve been eating. I’m feeling good now!
03/06 135.2 That’s well within my maintenance range, so it’s good. Yesterday was a little lower than I want to go. I had a good keto meal at Chili’s on Sunday—Guiltless Grill 6 oz. sirloin with avocado, Fresco salad, and mushrooms. If you have healthy, low carb food recommendations for different restaurant chains, I’d like to hear about them.
03/07 135.4 In my new found freedom, I have to make sure I don’t overdo. I want to gain muscle, not fat, except in my cheeks (all of them), but that would be prohibitively expensive. I can live with wrinkles—I’m old enough. Last week, I was thinking of my granddaughter’s high school graduation in 2020, and realized that will be the half century mark/50 years after my own high school graduation.

It was drizzly out, so I took a nap after church, helped my husband fix a gate so the cattle and donkeys don’t get out on the road, and we watched VOM video stories of persecuted Christians this evening. The persecuted Christians want and need our prayers and support. Today is the first day of daylight savings time, and it was a good Sunday.

03/12 134.4 I slept late this morning, and I’ve noticed that usually gives me a lower weigh-in number. Since I began maintenance, I’m still eating keto, but I allow myself some extra carbs. Breyers Delights low-carb ½ pints haven’t been in stock lately, but Breyers has a CarbSmart Almond bar (160 cal/13 carbs). I allow myself one bar every other day. I’ve tried other brands of low-carb ice cream, but, so far, haven’t found others that are creamy or tasty. I just checked my ketone number, and I’m still in ketosis.

Goal this round, starting March 4: To get out of the 160’s or at least consistently not above 160.
Have been feeling a little on the hungry side all last round so was expecting to see a drop – but not yet. Figured out my BMR and realized that even at 1200 cals. I am only at a slight deficit (300) so that being sloppy on counting, having a little treat or two, puts me at maintenance. Checked what I’d put into MFP at the beginning and discovered - exercise 30 min./day. That was because I had my dog at that point and had to walk her at least that each day; usually it was 45 – 60. min. Now I go to the gym and exercise much harder but only 2 or maybe 3 times a week. 03/11 – 160.8 – Stressful day yesterday but avoided emotional eating. Had some chocolate but dark and within limits and, surprisingly, was not craving more. Slowly changing my “this is what’s normal” eating patterns to something more temperate.
03/12 – 160.8 – Good workout yesterday, eating OK. Today working on keeping some movement in my “desk” day.

March 04: 203.8 - Down a bit from my “TOM bump” but still 0.8 above my low. 📈
March 05: 203.8 - Trying not to be irritated by the lack of scale movement. It’ll show up eventually... 😒
March 06: 203.0 - Broke through the bloat. Hopefully I’ll be able to see some real progress soon. 👍🏼

March 08: 203.2 - I have no idea what’s going on. I’ve been under target all week. Perhaps not as well-hydrated as usual, so today I’ll focus on that. 💧

March 10: 202.6 - The scale taunted me today, flickering lower for a moment. I’m just glad the drop has stuck! 🤷🏻♀️

March 12: 202.8 - Not surprised; we had a salty dinner last night. My calves tried to cramp overnight so I know I was dehydrated. Starting with a L of water this morning. 💦

03/04- On track today, healthy meals lots of vegetables
03/05- Walking steps are going back up, eating healthy.
03/06- It was freezing with the wind chill and bundled up went for a long walk.
03/07-Walking steps are up10,000+ ,yoga and kettle bell workout. Great day.
03/08-Out walking every day, lots of yoga eating healthy.
03/09-Still had exercise completed in the morning, my husband had surgery today on one of eyes so take it easy night.
03/10- steps are down today, I have an appointment tomorrow with the neurologist hopefully I have good news.
03/11- good news today, I don't have to see my neurologist no more, my drivers licence was suspended by my doctor because I had radiation and in case of seizures . I have perfect health again and will get my licence back.
03/12- Having a hard time getting back on track.

@LolaLaylola - Have you taken your measurements? I know when I've been stuck in a plateau before, seeing that my waist dropped half an inch makes it easier to handle. In fact, although I've been in maintenance since December and my weight has only varied a couple pounds, I've lost another inch off my waist since then.
I had never thought to do that.. but I will try it. It may help me see better results. Thanks for the suggestion.6 -

Yesterday I ate two Oreo type cookies and a thin slice of blueberry bread for breakfast, jelly beans for lunch (well really all afternoon) then went for dinner and had a Rueben sandwich with fries and topped it all off with MANY pieces of salt water taffy. Weighed three times this morning to be sure! Yep, scratching my head about this but every now and then ya get a free pass.

3/4: — 200.0 — I’ve been hovering at this weight for a bit, wanting to get under 200. I can tell I’ve lost even though the scale doesn’t show it. So I took measurements today and I have lost INCHES!! I’m really excited about that. So glad I took measurements earlier.
3/5: — 199.0 — YAY! I broke out of the 200’s
3/6: — 198.3 — YAY! Stayed under calorie goal. Been eating healthy.
3/7: — 197.9 — YAY! Going the right direction.
3/8: — 197.0 — And now the weekend is here. This is the worst time for temptation.
3/9: — 197.1 — Trying to stay on plan. Struggling a little.
3/10: — 197.1 — Planning 1 cheat item this weekend. Will see how that effects my weight.
3/11: — 197.0 — I had 2 “cheat” items this weekend. I was very careful not to make it an all day thing and I handled it pretty well. Weight is steady. I hope I didn’t cause a stall though. Time will tell.
3/12: — 196.6 — I’ve been eating more vegetables this week. I keep thinking my weight will bounce back up. But the overall trend is down so I’m pretty happy.

Starting again after skipping round 68 and 69. Did a lot of traveling, which hadn't been too good for monitoring weight.

3/6 = 168.5 - My body is weird. Weight goes up and down when I least expect it to. I just rested yesterday and was a total couch potato.
3/7 = 169.4 - Ate just one meal yesterday at a keto restaurant but apparently my body liked the food so much it absorbed all of it! Sheesh.
3/8 = 169.3 - My fitness tracker went bust last week, but I probably got in 5k+ steps easy. How to unstuck myself from 169...
3/9 = no scale
3/10 = no scale. Traveling

3/12 = forgot to weigh 😂
3/13 = 167.6 - I know I ate more than I should and did not have even one activity that could be considered exercise the past few days. Maybe it's cos of more stress? I have no idea. Lol. Anyway, glad for the loss.

@JillMarieRonkko, I used black cohosh and soy milk during perimenopause. Those really helped with a lot of my symptoms especially night sweats and hot flashes. That was the only time I used soy milk.
