Of course my husband bring me a package of Carmel m&ms . They are going out in the deep freeze, out of sight, out of mind, lol

Hi - I'd love to join this challenge, glad I found this thread. I'm back to using MFP after a long hiatus. I have to attend a work conference at the end of next week so I won't be able to weigh in for a couple of days of the challenge, but maybe this will keep me a little more accountable while I'm there.

Net change 2019 = (+5.4)- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Hi I'm Lauren! I'm 30. I live in California. this will be my 5th round!
During the last two rounds I have ended at maintenance, but I bounce around so I'm still eating at a deficit. I use a weight trending app called Libra and my trend line is still 1.5 higher than my goal weight of 135, (but it was 0.5 lb higher than that the first time I reached 135 lb at the end of R69) so I am going to keep eating at a 1/2 lb per week deficit until my trend line has reached my goal weight. And of course I am going to keep coming back here because this place is so darn motivating.
Since starting to post here I have done yoga every day, I have taken up jogging (did my first 5k without stopping yesterday), I have bought goal weight jeans that I love, and I've been able to dance as much as I used to.
HW (age 14) - 175 lb
SW Jan 2015 - 165 lb
lost down to 130 then gained back to 140 and within the last 8 months slipped back into bad habits
SW Jan 2019 - 147.5 lb
