I had to use the middle hook (as oppose to the last outer hook!) on my bra today! That means I've lost inches on my bust! YAAAAAAAAY!

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago. It felt great.

It does! And it's not an old crappy bra either - I only bought this one 4 weeks ago!
My bust is the last to lose inches, so this is definitely another huge NSV for me!11 -
My clavicles are doin that thang!!! Sticking out and very discernible....teehee...😎18

Wearing a pair of pants to work I haven't worn in 3 years. Going to rummage back through my old wardrobe this weekend to see if I can discover anything else that fits now!16

You crack me up, Leeann! I laughed out loud when I read that!2 -
I was waiting for the train when I had this weird feeling that "someone was watching me". I looked around and saw that it was a former pupil -a very nice boy who I taught for three years and with whom I've always had a good relationship. So, I came up to him and told him "what's up, are you not saying hello any more?" The boy blushed, and told me he hadn't approached because he wasn't sure it was me, I was so thin and different... and he was only sure it was me when he heard my voice.
This boy spent three years in my classroom, sitting in the first row, so he had a perfect view of me until two years ago. The fact that he didn't recognise me tells me that my body has really changed, even if I don't really notice it. (Maybe because I see myself int he mirror every day, he hadn't seen me in about a year and a half)41 -

I’m exactly the same. I’m very large up top. In fact, one reason I want to lose weight is so I can have a breast reduction. I don’t tend to lose much on the chest area as it’s naturally big but I’ll at least lose the excess fat before I qualify for surgery.

@GemimaFitzTed @TheRedQueen Funny you mention bras...
I had thought I was going to have to stop wearing my favorite when I remembered (felt kind of dumb too) that it had more than one hook. Now I'm on the smallest one and it fits just right. I have bought a new one - size 38 vs the 42 I've been wearing too. I'm so glad because 38B is easier to find than 42B, and at least for now the B is still good. I know I'll be going down to an A soon enough. For me it's the worse part of losing weight - my booty is still gigantic while my top side is barely holding it's own.12 -
Slept in, AGAIN!!5

Went down a notch on my belt today. Noticed that my bra was getting loose in both the cup and band, so I tried on the bra that was always too tight -- it fits!13

Mostly a scale victory here this morning, but I had to share because I feel like it's an important milestone in my journey. This morning I stepped on the scales just to see how much weight my horse has to haul around tomorrow. I'm finally down to my original starting weight from 10 years ago. Well pretty much anyway, I'm 200grams up, but that's not worth counting. It's taken me around 16 years to finally find my groove (didn't start "officially" tracking my weight until 2009 but I started wanting to lose weight when I was about 15), but I honestly feel like I'm stuck in the zone now. That brings my total weight loss to 12.6Kg since November. I haven't logged it since my weigh in day is Monday, and who knows, by Monday after the weekend I may be slightly up, but right now I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat 😁😁😁24

Understand, in addition to a weight issue, I also have some permanent injuries from a car accident.
Two days ago, I went nature hiking with my husband and daughter. There is a wildlife sanctuary near us, and our family likes to go. The first time I was there, I required my walker, so I could sit and rest any time I needed to, even if there was no bench available. Last November, when hubby's parents were visiting, I did OK with my cane but had to use those benches quite a bit while the others went down a trail and then looped back around to me.
This time, it had been raining and the benches were soaking wet. I only needed to rest a couple of times, but I could manage to do that standing up. I made it all the way around the trail. Stood there with my husband, watching the river flow.
PS: I haven't used that walker in almost a year, and the reason I used it then was because I had broken my toe.42 -
I ran 2x3 mins (wk3d1) C25K...OH EM GEE!
And I ran it at 7.2km/hr 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Being happy is an understatement!
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Last time I attempted wk3d1 was 3 years ago!24 -

It's been a rough week, and there's ice cream in the fridge, but last night I hit my max calories at dinner and didn't snack or get dessert even though I really wanted to.33

My treadmill died on Monday. I usually run on it Mon-Wed-Fri before the kids and hubby wake up. I went out and did a quick run outside on Monday, but the water fountain I planned on using at the park wasn’t on. Hubby was traveling for work, so I walked with the baby during the week.
This morning, hubby was back. I had a water bottle with a strap ready to go. I slept awful (possibly because I was excited about my run?) but I got up, suited up, drank my cold coffee, and did W11D3 of C210K. I did way better than I have ever done on the treadmill. And it felt so good!
I’ll get a new treadmill sometime. Hubby travels too much to always be able to plan around him, the kids, and the weather. But it’s nice to have conquered my apprehension about running outside before dawn.24 -
I had some kind of nasty stomach problem the last few days. Not doctor-visit nasty, but put-me-in-a-bad-mood nasty. Still had an appetite, but did not eat away the pain.
Also, kind of not an nsv, but I kept my mouth shut in another thread that I had nothin' nice to say in. It was hard.23 -
My favorite Girl Scout cookie was out on the counter in the break room, I didn't have a single one! (though I did have some last night, but logged them!)11

Hi all - sharing this discussion link here since this NSV thread is one of my all time favorite MFP places where members are sharing their stories and being such an inspiration.

Oooh, I've had this NSV a couple times, too. It IS hard!9 -
Am I going to get woos for this?
This week I started to see a vein running along my left shoulder to my bicep when I flex. The vein isn’t popping, but now I see it in the mirror!21 -
I went from being able to do 3 consecutive chin-ups to 4, and did 3 sets and still got all 4 on the 3rd set.
I saw another woman at the gym doing chin ups like a boss, didn't want to interrupt her in her workout so I didn't say anything. Saw her picking up her little kids from childcare when I picked up mine and complimented her on them. I know how hard that is!19 -
One size less in pants, one less in bra.
Reduced snoring, my husband is so happy!
I’m not anymore always attracted to always eat crap food.
More energy, more smiles! Sleep also better.
Using jackets I couldn’t for two years ago.
Even if it is a scale victory, to weight the same I did for ten years ago the last time.
Some coworkers asked me this week if I lost weight, nice to feel others see it! But I also feel insecure with that, one of them just comment “the difficult is to keep it”. And I agree. It’s what I fear the most. I’m also afraid people judging me if I do.
Unfortunately, my belly doesn’t reduce att the same speed. It feels strange to get in a XL-L size, even if my belly is just of the charts. How long it will take to get a “not a ballon” one??

Less of an NSV than a SW (Scale Whew!). I had four social events this week, and it felt like I ate like a hog, but miraculously managed to maintain, I’m happy with that. I’m not happy with the magnetic allure of M&Ms and Chex Mix at all four events, though. I thought I was stronger than that. What I need is Bunco Blinders to go with my bingo wings.11

Still have a long way to go on my journey but here it goes:
+++ I can jump and squat in Zumba class.
+++ It doesn't hurt my knees/legs to get up and down from sitting anymore.
+++ I have more energy in general.
+++ My clothes are fitting better.15 -
I recently switched to premium and don't use many of the features but I was able to change my calorie goal for the weekends (a couple hundred more than on weekdays). Seems like no big deal but I get really excited to be able to have a couple extra treats without seeing red numbers, and I end up much closer to my goal than if I shoot low and just go way over. Totally a mind trick but it's working!13
