I weighed myself Monday morning but didn't post here as I was going away for a few days. So I made my goal weight for March 18th! However, I'm home again now and weighed in at 52.5 kg this morning . I expect it's mostly just water retention from the travelling - I didn't pig out too much and I did swim 30 mins in the hotel pool each day. I'll wait and see what the next official weigh-in on Monday is.0 -

A small gain this week – but I did have four hotel dinners (with starters and dessert each day) and four breakfasts. I weighed in at 52.5 kg on Saturday morning but I guess that was mainly fluid retention etc from the travelling. The hotel had a pool and I did 30 minutes swim each day as well as a couple of hours walking round the towns we were visiting each day.
So I've made my goal weight for this challenge.
My ultimate goal is 50 kg so not far to go now.0 -
I'm in!
Start weight: 178
Current Weight: 152
Challenge Goal Weight: 140
Final Goal Weight: 135
Weigh-in day will be Mondays.
12/31 - 151.8 going back down in the right direction. Looking forward to finally seeing that 149!
1/7 - 153.2 My normal Monday bump. Uggghh, I wish I could keep it together through the weekends to, lol.
1/14 - 154.2 Drank a couple of beers last night and had a big dinner. Always gain after beer.
1/21 - 154.0 A little down from last week.
1/28 - 153.4 Lower all week last week, but really low on my water all weekend. We spent most of it driving. Should be lower next week.
2/4 - 153.7 I don't know why I retain water so bad on the weekend. I had a 6 pound gain in 2 days. I did drink a lot yesterday for the Super Bowl though. Water and more water today.
2/11 - vacation - no scale
2/18 - 157.7 Got back last night from our 7 day vacation! 2 airplane rides, tons of alcohol, tons of food, hardly any water, but an amazing time. My 2nd oldest turned 18 right before we left, so we also had a big party. Hopefully next Monday will be better! I am not doing well this challenge at all!
2/25 - 155.5 uuugghh! Still going down. This has not been a good couple of months at all
3/4 - 154.9 Going back down. TOM did not help at all last week. I am determined to finish in the 140's.
3/11 - 153.4 continuing to do better on the weekend and lose. I would love to be able to weigh in on a Monday and be in the 140's. That is a goal I am setting for the month of April. March I just want to continue getting back to where I was.
3/18 - 154.0 and back up. Was way lower all week, except today. I have no idea what I do on Sunday that makes me gain weight.
3/25 - 153.6 I am not going to lie, I have not done well this challenge. I'm finding it hard to lose this last 10-15 pounds. Next round I am hoping to get in the 140's!
3/31 -
I need to get back on track after the holidays. My actual current weight is 156.3 because I enjoyed Christmas a little to much, but my average weight before the last couple of days was 152. I will post my first weigh in this Monday 12/31. Hopefully by March I have reached my goal of 140!post my first weigh in this Monday 12/31. Hopefully by March I have reached my goal of 140!

My name is Donna. I am 58 years young and am about 5' 5" tall. I am from the Midwest where it is blistery cold during this time of year and storms are frequent and unforgiving.
Original highest weight 253.0
Final goal weight: 145 by Halloween 2019
January Start weight: 185.5
I have done great in 2018 but got off track in the fall & early winter. I am re-dedicating myself to a healthier me!
I will weigh in approximately once per week but not usually the day after a travel (restaurants & water retention).
Jan 02- 185.5
Jan 08- 183.3 Working it back down. January is redemption month. I’ll work hard to redeem myself after the holidays!
Jan 15- 186.2 Horrible emergency regarding my home/business. Everyone is okay but this will be a long drawn-out process. Restaurant runs for food (too many carbs/calories) and eating my emotions as well. I am going to try to get back on track as much as possible today and not let this derail my efforts. I’m just so very thankful that no one was hurt!
Jan 21: 187.1 Stress eating after tree fell on business roof. Problem still being worked on. Insurance inspections on all my homes & businesses has caused lots of work and quick restaurants. I’ve incorporated some aerobic dancing into my rountine and that will help. Weight should improve by next weigh in.
Jan 29: 184.8 Finally showing a loss! I’ve been aerobic dancing which is really helping. I’ve finally dipped just below my starting weight on this challenge which makes me feel a whole lot better. Everyone is doing great! I’m lagging behind a bit, but I’ll meet you all at the finish line on the 31st! I’m looking forward to February because I’m feeling strong. Thanks to @erminater for the support! We're in this together and I appreciate that very much!

Indulged too much & paying for it now. 3 days of travel in this upcoming week so Sitting + Restaurants = Disaster for 3 days. I’ll try my best but I will be out of my controlled element longer than I want to.

Mar 25: 188.8 Wow. Only a 1.2 pound gain after 5 days of traveling, restaurants & sitting…sitting…sitting. I did much better than I thought I would. An Excellent NSV! However, revising my goal to just staying the same during the worst of the winter months is proving to be difficult & probably impossible. I would have been happy just to not have a gain. Sad.

Start weight 72.5 Kg (16th July 2018) - 160 lb
Challenge start weight 57.3 Kg (31st Dec) - 126 lb
Revised challenge goal 52 kg (March 18th)

18/03 51.5 kg
25/03 51.7 kg
01/04 51 kg (112.4 lb or 8 stone and ½ lb)
Loss this week 0.7 kg, I was surprised to see 51 kg but the previous 2 weeks were small losses.
Total loss over 13 weeks 6.3 kg. (just under 14 lb) I have overshot my goal a little, but feel fine.
Average loss = 0.48 kg per week or just over 1 lb per week.
Non-scale victories include waist measurement finally reducing to less than 90 cm! Ideally waist should be around half your height. At only 55 cm tall that would suggest a measurement of well under 80 cm. That will be my next goal.
Thanks for the challenge, it helped to keep me focused.
