This is the kinda conversation where my sense of humor wants to go one way and my sense of self-preservation throws the brakes2

I know a bunch
They should stop. I doubt very many women find that attractive, but I could be wrong
i don’t mind it. not a turn on, but i appreciate hunters and the meat they bring me. It is weird to photograph it, i suppose.
That's what I think. If you are hunting for meat why do I need to see you with it? It's treated like a trophy instead of a meal which is just all sorts of strange to me. Then it feels more like "Look at what I murdered" instead of that you are doing it for sustenance. Just an odd concept. Maybe not a complete dealbreaker but also not impressive or a turn on in my opinion.
That's why they do it?? Oh my god I’m done taking selfies with rotisserie chickens at the grocery store2 -

Thank you! The last time @Caporegiem sent me a pic of him and a rotisserie chicken I thought he was going to get himself escorted out of the grocery!2 -

I think because it’s for meat and for sport.1 -
My only regret when I went hunting last is that I didn’t take that “trophy shot” to impress the ladies4

It's a trophy thing to hunters I guess. You know how humans are we need proof on things we conquered
Humans should be able to conquer animals though, right? I mean they have thumbs and guns and stuff 😂1 -

You were hunting two-legged deer, weren't you?
Right legs only!1 -

Clearly you've never been hunting when you're starving.

Used to hunt a lot when I was growing up. It was to help putting food on the table for our family of 14. We never took pictures of our kills (most likely because we could not afford a camera, we was really poor).
Still have one brother and one brother in-law that hunts.
I stopped hunting after Vietnam, Ranger School, and Sniper School. Just seemed so unfair, may as well just go out and shoot penned in animals.
I could afford food at the stores since my early teenage years.3 -

not trying to be a jerk - i understand why you would delegate the task-
but buying meat from a grocery store doesn’t mean there wasn’t killing, it just means you didn’t have to do it.
again, i respect why you wouldn’t want to hunt. i certainly don’t either. but i do eat meat and i appreciate that this food was once alive. and that someone did my work for me. kwim?1 -
