(Partly because I find it hard to hear). I rolled down the window and said, "you don't know if someone has a hearing imparement". His mom, who apparently was one car over had him appologize. Did I over react?
๐ฎ oh wow! I woulda just smiled and said back โCool! I loved the 90โs!โ ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I think I was just caught off guard, because of the "proximity" in my personal space. I wasn't outside in the open. It felt invasive. Your answer is probably a better one.
Kids do say the darndest things ๐ฎ what does a tween know about the 90โs? They probably werenโt even born yet ๐ they were probably just thinking out loud or trying to sound impressive or just get a reaction, donโt take it personally ๐ glad the mom made them apologize!0 -
44 and a half, maintained a healthy weight for 5 years now and feeling fantastic today on my trail run. Age is just a number right?! So get out there, get healthy and do what you want to do, donโt limit yourself ๐ feel free to add me ๐12 -
Made it back to the gym today! Itโs easy to fall off the wagon for sure! Hoping to sleep better tonight. Cheers ladies!3

I got sick last week and fell off my diet and workout routine. I'm finding it very difficult to get back in the workout part this week... I just hate the gym!
I've got to come up with a more enjoyable way to exercise on my own.2 -

Hi everyone, I'm 47 and had lost 90 pounds within 2 years, unfortunately I had a personal setback last summer and have gained back 35 of those pounds. This weekend I was getting out my spring clothes to which most are either too small or just really tight and I realize that the fat girl has come back, that has been a hard pill to swallow. I think back to last year at this time and I was starting to feel good about myself and actually feeling slimmer, now I go to the gym and hate looking at myself in the mirror right now. I started eating healthy again a few weeks ago, I'm back to the gym giving it my 100% and am eating better (more veggies and protein), I just started weighing my food (I think I had been slacking on that front at first), I know what I am eating may not be perfect but it works for me. I'm usually a positive person so I am trying to get back to the old me, it would be great to have some friends to help support each other while we make positive changes in our lives!6

That's awesome, and inspiring.
I'm curious, what inspired you to make this life change? And what do you do to stay active?

Is there a different gym, or something about the gym you dislike - maybe shop around for a better experience/equipment/options/client base?0 -
