Well I've slipped this year and stopped thinking about weight loss. In reality I never stopped thinking I just ignored that inner voice. TODAY I'm going to continue my journey even though I'm at 14 lbs down in 19 weeks. Where did April go??? 5 weeks of blowing it is enough! Picking up and moving on.

I'll post my weekly WI on Monday ... no excuses.

So still sick unfortunately. Also not sure how accurate this weigh-in is either, but we'll see. If there's not a difference by next week, I'll start to rethink the methodology.

This week's successes: Since being sick, I've been eating around my daily goal calories or within 500 of it. It may not seem like a success, but I'm not freaking out over "overeating" and allowing my body to fully recover.

This week's challenges: Being sick (trying not use this as an excuse though) has made me extremely tired and having no energy to do any sort of physical activity.

Next week's goal: To finally feel better and to jump right back into working on myself.

I seemed stuck at around 151-152 lbs since the beginning of the month and then finally big drop to 148.8 on Sat - Yeah!!!!!!! Up a smidgeon Sunday to 148.9 so hope it stays below 150 this week!!! Getting so close to STG goal of BMI<130.

The Apple Watch Challenge for May is helping to keep the motivation going to hit the gym/exercise daily in some form and beat exercise goals !!! Made it to Bronze so far!

Started using Aaptiv to work in some more interesting elliptical and other strength training/core exercises on my own for days when I cannot make the gym or schedule does not fit with favorite classes but more motivation to use the spin bikes there. (free trial subscription, but may continue)

This week's challenges: Still traveling & once again without a scale, unless the hotel’s fitness center happens to have one (doubtful). Just going to log honestly & hope for the best! 🧮

Aww, thank you! I won’t lie, it’s been tough. Since we live overseas, vacation is usually a free-for-all to enjoy the foods we miss from “back home”. We’ve still been doing that... just a bit more carefully: sharing meals, healthy snacking in-between, keeping water bottles accessible, that sort of thing.

It’s good to get some practice with maintenance - I want to be sure I know how to live life while still keeping an eye on things!

You’re doing great, too! Keep it up 😊

@Luciicul great progress this year! Keep it up.

Thanks! Truth be told, I have a LOT to lose and while this is a 52lb challenge, I'm really aiming to lose closer to 52kgs! Am really glad I've learned some new stuff about nutrition and how our body works, which seems to be working for me so far. Of course, it will be harder when I get closer to my goal weight.

Good luck with the doctor's appointment and on the 10k :)
