Do you have any binge trigger foods?

For me I have caught on I can’t have chocolate or french fries. I simply can not moderate these foods, for me they trigger a binge usually consisting of 2-3 days eating all in sight. I’ve caught on that if I simply avoid these foods I can stick to my diet fine.

I've just had to stop buying them.

Popcorn, especially the kettle style. I’ve found it’s the one thing I can’t moderate.2

I have foods that in the past I have had a tough time moderating and may eat all of whatever I have purchased but nothing that triggers me to binge in the way you describe.
2-3 days of eating everything in sight for me generally requires that I have been too strict with myself for several weeks and I just hit a breaking point. Even then I have some control I just don't exercise much of it.4 -
Regular chocolate (not a fan of fancy stuff). Really anything sweet 😬6

Mine would be granola, I could eat a full box easily!1

Prior to starting, I couldn't have sweets of any type in the house or I would binge the whole amount. If I didn't have anything sweet, I would make something--either butter cream frosting or eggless cookie dough. Since I started MFP, I haven't had any trouble (knock on wood!).
In the salty snack category, I could easily put away a couple of baskets of chips and salsa while dining on Mexican food. I've been to my favorite Mexican restaurant twice since starting MFP; both times I was able to count out an amount of chips (10-12) and slowly eat them with lots of salsa on each chip. So far so good!!5 -
Any type of dessert other than fruit/nuts or yogurt, one taste of any other pudding and I go into piranha feeding frenzy mode ... not a pretty sight6

At the moment it feels like all I have are trigger foods! Generally though it's biscuits (as in cookies), cake or chocolate. I so wish I could have a slice of cake and be happy with that but as soon as I taste it that's it, all bets are off!8

Gummy candy like worms, fuzzy peaches or licorice. Any kind of cakey food: donuts, muffins, soft cookies, actual cake. Doritos and popcorn.
I seem to have the chocolate thing under control now at least.4 -
For me it’s chips. I don’t keep them in the house, but will occasionally have a single serve bag as a planned treat.3

Any sweets! Reeses and oreos are my downfall. Pizza is pretty hard too.2

I used to. I used to think cheese and pasta, especially together, was a trigger, but I've been able to get a handle on it. Including it in my diet prior to cravings really helped me.3

Chips and pizza. The only way chips can come into my house, is in a single bag size. Any thing larger and watch out.2

Cookies, especially homemade, I'll eat them all in one day7

Popcorn (love Skinny Pop) and gummy bears.2

I wouldn't say binge exactly, but there are foods I will eat until the entire package is gone. From the minute they are in the house until the whole package is gone, I obsess about them.
Cheetos Puffs
Flamin' Hot Limon Cheetos
Ben and Jerry's The Tonight Dough
Lay's Salt and Vinegar potato chips5 -
Chips and Salsa / Guacamole.3

Chocolate, ice cream, biscuits, basically anything with a lot of sugar/fat.
I can usually have a small amount, but after doing so I will want more, and it is really important that I don't give into that or I'll trigger the full hook-in-gut 'starvation' sensations and go into binge mode.
And I mean actual 'cannot stop eating because not stuffing food in my mouth for even five minutes feels actively painful' bingeing, not just finishing-the-packet bingeing.7 -
Chips with dip and chocolate. I'm not big on eating chips, but love the combo with onion dip or tortilla chips and ranch! Chocolate will always be a weakness, aside of light ice cream I avoid it.1

I can't think of anything that triggers me on a regular day, but on a 'free day'--like a celebratory event--kettle chips, snack candies you can grab a handful of (like M&Ms), summer sausage with cheese and crackers... basically any snack foods that are out and about, lol. I don't binge for days, but I will binge for that whole day. You'd think I'd been starving myself up to that point.
It's silly. On any other day, I can eat all of those things in moderation with no problem! But I guess it's a mental thing, where I tell myself, "Well, it's a birthday; I'm not counting today. May as well eat all the things!" And then I just can't control myself, no matter how much my stomach regrets it later.0
