If I keep going at my current rate of deficit, I should be able to get down to 147 lbs by the end of the month. My initial drop was bigger than I expected. So far, going smoothly.4 -
May was not a great month for me. I had way to much going on (vacation, graduation, end of the year programs/projects, and parties) every time I turned around. School is out for the summer though and I am ready to get back on track. Being a mother of 5 (2 which are adults supposedly) can take a toll on you sometimes. Thank goodness I have an amazing family and husband that help me.

6/1 - 148.7 down about a 1/2 a pound to start the month. I 'll take it!

Today's Thoughts: Hard not to feel off with scale and trend weight both being up, but I have to remind myself, "natural and logical consequences." I had a couple of "slug" weeks end of May/first of June with little to no exercise, and this week I've been off on the calorie deficit, and seem to have some fluid retention. The good news is that my 7 day averages for steps and exercise are edging back up. I already know that moving is critical for me with a pitiful BMR. Deficit tracking has been difficult with the sync issues between MFP and FitBit - I rely heavily on those FitBit numbers to gauge my meals that I track in the MFP Diary. Hopefully they will get that worked out soon. It's all good - I have my head back in the game, the scale will catch up.
June Game Plan & Goals:- Continue weekly meal planning
- Log daily in MFP - focus on daily calorie deficit goal of 500 Way off here
- No calorie intake after 8pm
- Hit Fitbit step goal of 5000, then increase to 6000 - 7 day average 4480
- Hit active minutes goal of 25 minutes daily, then increase to 30 - 7 day average 21
- Hit strength building exercise goal of 6 days, then increase to 7 - 7 day average 4

Yesterday was a rest day so I kind of expected either no loss or a small gain since I ate at my maintenance level. My current strategy is to eat about my rest day maintenance calories, so any exercise calories end up being a deficit. Gym tonight and 5k tomorrow. I'm excited to see what my 5k time is since I haven't run one since last summer.6 -

Happy Sunday!
I flirt with 196, then pop up to 198. Rinse, repeat. I have been gaining and losing the same 2 lbs for 7 months now. Will the plateau ever break?
I did realize one thing. I have been stuck since my gallbladder surgery, yes... AND I quit nicotine. I was a former smoker turned vaper. I had vaped for 4 1/2 years. Couldn't vape when I was in hospital so I used the forced opportunity to quit. Never picked it up again. That might have something to do with my stall. On a positive note, lots of people gain a ton of weight when they quit nicotine and I haven't done that, so, yay me!
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1991: 194.4 November 25, 2018, post gallbladder surgery.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233.
Goal: 180 in however long it takes. And it's taking a LOT longer than I thought it would!

Loss for June: 0.4 lbs
