TIL that fawns (baby deer) are often left alone for hours while their mothers forage for food. Sometimes well meaning people ‘kidnap’ the fawn thinking it’s abandoned when it’s really just waiting for its mom.
not so glamours fact - they often bed down the fawns in grassy areas and the fawns stay put until mom gets back. Many fawns die every year getting hit by farm machinery in hay fields and other crop lands.0 -

Actually they aren't roots. Peanuts are actually considered legumes.
The difference between real nuts are nuts grow on trees, peanuts grow in pods that mature underground; other types of legumes, such as lentils and peas, also grow beneath the surface.0 -
