TIL that unicorn hunting is legal in Michigan and you can get an actual license for it. It originated from a Unicorn Hunters Club in the 70's only to gain publicity, but it grew and came to actual issued licenses for unicorn hunting.1

Today I learned just how woefully inaccurate my food weights have been using a very old-fashioned spring scale!! I bought a digital which arrived today and it has a tare/zero button that allows me to zero out container weights. Man!! My diaries have been way off!!! That's gonna change now.5
