A member of my extended family is the oldest living person in the world. @ 122 years + 1 day old as of September 11 2019
If she lives another 163 days she will be the confirmed longest lived person in recorded history.

TIL that the Inland Taipan or "fierce snake" is the most venomous snake in the world. However, because of its shy and timid nature there has never been a recorded death caused by its bite. The word "fierce" describes its venom, not its temperament.
Eastern browns I think might be second on the list. Super aggressive.. had 2 in the chook house last summer. They are extremely common.
One bite a greyhound next door and the poor thing screamed in agony for 10 minutes before it died. Worst thing I ever heard.3 -
TIL that Germany has launched a rocket with yeast on board into space. When the rocket returns the yeast will be used to make beer. Making it effectively space beer.2
