Hi, I am in the UK and looking for any support or people who want to work together on losing weight. I’ve got a knee injury and can’t work out. I’ve put on a LOT of weight since October and would like to start losing. Currently I am 180lbs but can’t exercise, so I need to do this via diet. I would like to be 120-140lbs eventually. Any help or advice re amounts or anyone wanna work on weight loss together? I am not even sure what I should be consuming but aiming for about 1200 calories a day?!

Try Bright Line Eating plan. Dr. Susan Pierce Thompson has written a book about it and you can also Google it. Facebook: lots of Bright Line Groups. Excercise is not recommended on this program until you are well established with the principles of the eating program. No flour, No sugar, No eating between meals, Weigh and measure everything. With proper planning of food prep it becomes very easy. Good luck to you. I know it is doable.17

Here is a good place to start:

You need to go through the MFP set-up. Put in your stats and select to lose 1.5 pounds per week. It will give you a calorie goal. DO NOT just select 1200 because it is a popular diet number.5 -

That's the best and most important thing in your post. Everything else is unnecessary.
