Lose 20lbs by Dec. 1st Accountability Buddies

I started one of these challenges like a year ago....I failed miserably. But WOW, so many people kicked butt and lost 20lbs and more. It was amazing. I'm starting back after being off the diet wagon, again. But one thing I do have going for me is being STUBBORN and not giving up, so who's with me?!

It's very informal, check in weekly with your weight. First weigh in Aug 4th, 18 weeks to Dec. 1st. Any day/format you feel comfortable with. Feel free to post about positive accomplishments (scale related or not), things you're struggling with, funny/uplifting posts, etc.
Just don't be a jerk.... That's my only rule :-)

I just edited my post to answer your question. Basically, you're in! Just a reply that you're joining and post weekly to stay accountable. I keep a running tally by week number of my weight and cut and paste weekly. But whatever format you're comfortable with. Welcome!0 -

I’m not sure how you figure your starting weight. I was 185 a few years ago at my highest. My current weight is 167.9. I’d LOVE to actually be down by 20 lbs by Dec 1! So I guess my goal weight is 147. I’m only 5’ tall so it’s not like I carry it well. One of my big problems is like I can get down on the floor to play with grandkids easily. But man, when I try to get back up it’s like I’m a baby hippo wallering around, hefting myself up by grabbing onto nearby furniture to help. I hate that! Any strengthening advice in that area would sure be appreciated!1
