Type O breakfast ideas?

I just had a look as I'm also an O
"Type O blood: A high-protein diet heavy on lean meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables, and light on grains, beans, and dairy. D'Adamo also recommends various supplements to help with tummy troubles and other issues he says people with type O tend to have."
Right, makes total sense as protein-rich food is a massive reflux trigger for me. I'd thus have to take PPI and other meds to prevent me from corroding my oesophagus, developing cancer and losing my teeth due to acid.3 -

So Type O is essentially Paleo. I'm an O, and I've never in my adult life felt healthier than I did during my time doing Paleo.
I don't intend to preach on how great Paleo or Type O blood is, that's just my perspective.

Hopefully you are not intending this as an argument for the merits of the blood-type diet.
Whether you enjoy paleo or not has zip to do with your blood-type (also zip to do with the supposed rationale for that diet). That said, while I didn't feel "healthier" on it, I found paleo a pleasant way to eat and one that can be done in a perfectly healthy way, and for some people it might cause them to eat more healthfully than they did before doing it.5 -

Researchers from the University of Toronto (U of T) have found that the theory behind the popular blood type diet--which claims an individual's nutritional needs vary by blood type--is not valid. The findings are published this week in PLoS One.
"Based on the data of 1,455 study participants, we found no evidence to support the 'blood-type' diet theory," said the senior author of the study, Dr. Ahmed El-Sohemy, Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair in Nutrigenomics at the U of T.
"The way an individual responds to any one of these diets has absolutely nothing to do with their blood type and has everything to do with their ability to stick to a sensible...diet," said El-Sohemy.6 -
I'm O-neg and I eat whatever particular foods I want, just in portions etc that will fit my daily macros/calories.
I'm also not trying to sell you a book or access to a website or in any other way make a buck off of you.
Hmmmm....coincidence?5 -

Sorry, I'm not going to judge something I just learned about today.
OP: A belated congrats on your 3rd anniversary of starting Paleo. Please consider my advice to dismiss the blood type diet stuff, because you're just going to confuse some people and draw criticism from others. If you've not figured it out yet the O blood type suggestion IS the Paleo diet. Paleo has a huge following on MFP, and you'll find plenty of support from other Paleo fans. Addressing your initial question, (which I'm not sure anyone ever did but TL;DR,) search Google for "Paleo breakfast ideas" and you'll find suggestions and recipes out the wazoo. You're welcome.6 -

Nobody is confused man...there's zero scientific basis in the blood type diet...there's only a book written by a quack to sell books.10 -

Huh? OP said nothing about eating paleo for three years.
I don't find the merits of the "blood-type diet" particularly difficult to come to a conclusion on. But my impression was you might think you were putting forth an argument FOR the merits of the diet (i.e., evidence that what the creator of it claims is true), so I wanted to point out that in fact that you like paleo has 0 to do with that.3 -

I don't due to reflux related to protein, and an inability to digest fats properly. I love carbs anyway. Carbs all the way.0 -
When I first read the title of this thread - I thought "Type O" was a personality type. I had heard of the "type A" personality - so I was trying to figure out what type O was, and why one would eat based on what kind of personality they have. I feel a book coming on...LOL.4

Negative protein, you know the stuff that burns more calories digesting it than the number of calories inside.5 -

"People with blood type O are outgoing, go-getters, and daring. They usually set high standards for themselves, and they do all they can to achieve them. Os have excellent leadership capabilities. Little things do not concern them, and this makes them appear as selfish to people in blood group A who are overly sensitive.
People with blood group O are generous and kind-hearted. Most people love this blood type. O blood type personalities adapt well to change. They are flexible and resilient and can do relatively well even in tough situations.
Some of the positive personality traits in people with blood type O are; leadership ability, self-determined, easygoing, optimistic, calm, confident, outgoing, loyal, cautious, passionate, peaceful, resilient, independent, trendsetter, reliable, carefree, and devoted. On the centrally, they are also jealous, rude, ruthless, insensitive, unpunctual, unpredictable, cold, self-centered, workaholic, and arrogant.
Individuals with blood type O are very enduring and strong, and that is why the Japanese call them Warriors. They are honest people and hate people who tell a lie or hide the truth. People with this blood type are not overly cautious about small details, as they tend to focus more on the big picture....
Famous people with blood type O are such as Queen Elizabeth II, Paul Newman, Elvis Parsley [I wonder if he's an Elvis Presley impersonator], and Ronald Re[a]gan, John Gotti, and Gerald Ford."
(My note: it's an exceptionally common type. Also, this is absurd, of course -- if you woo me, just know I know it's woo!) ;-)4 -

Didn't think there was a way of eating for a blood type? This is new news to me lol! Our ancestors didn't eat according to blood type, heck didn't even know what it was and they were fine (or we wouldn't be here today lol) I am still intrigued by this concept now , gotta look up this rubbish XD0

Does the rhesus factor matter? E.g. Do O+ and O- have to eat different things?
What about all the other surface proteins on red blood corpuscles?1 -

Well, who knew I had so many wonderful personality traits, simply because I am blood type O. I read it on the internet so it must be true!5 -

OMG! I think I need to redo the blood test because this is exactly what I'm not, being introvert, interested in minor details, NOT CALM AT ALL!, not a leader, etc. I'm also a bit on the spectrum, thus maybe my blood is messed up to start with4 -
