What's something you wish you could tell your younger self?

Just interested to read people's life lessons. I would tell myself to walk away from people who continue to hurt me. I've had to really work on setting boundaries with people as I've got older. Still not the best at it in my late twenties!

ordering Thai food extra, extra hot ,while taunting the chef, might not be the best idea....

generically- maybe back in high school i guess i'd tell myself to go to more parties and don't talk about books as much
specifically- later on, don't get married and don't be afraid to tell her family off when they're being terrible

IDK man, without your books you're just another pretty face. 😉

    Also yes to part II

Don’t do things you don’t want to do just to make other people happy

    This is so true.

am i the only one that wouldn’t tell myself anything because i’d be afraid of horrifically altering the course of history

I find I only truly learn through direct experience. Unfortunately sometimes it takes me a few times to learn the lesson,

Whatever you decide to do - DO IT!!! Everything works out fine and you'll have a blast!! One small word of advice: take all the money you will spend on shoes and put it in a little stock called "Intel". *Trust Me*. :)

I would tell my younger self, don't waste your life just existing and hiding away from the world.
I would also tell myself to not tell my parents I was too tired or didn't feel like going out with them (when I felt fine)
Both my parents passed away last year and I would give anything to have all those selfish moments back.

I'm sorry to hear about your parents

Believe in yourself, you can do it. Don't take everything so seriously. On the other side of discomfort is growth...
