Round 86 goals- I have been inspired from others in this group to stop eating after 6:30. I will also be adding a minimum of 30 minutes of spinning each day I am home. I will be out of town 3.5 days this challenge for a fun trip and I want to maintain healthy eating choices and limit alcohol. I would like to lose 2 lbs this round
08/11- 157 lbs- up since yesterday but I am not surprised. Had a late dinner celebration with friends, drinks and dessert. The beginning of the day went well with spinning and healthy eating.

8/11: 201.6 (+.8) not too bad. Expected far worse. Didnβt make it to the gym yesterday and went over my calories. Had family day and although I weighed all my food and portioned It properly. I gave in at night for ice cream with the family. Today I have a kids bday party. Going to try super hard to be better.

Mon 15/07: 166.2: Goals: There are no excuses.I π choose instant gratification over sensible eating at a family buffet yesterday. I haven't done that for some time. It did not go unpunished. My new healthy body rebelled big time. I spent an wretched evening feeling bloated and uncomfortable, with an extra big a big kick up the a** when I stepped on the scale this morning. Now, I know I haven't put on 2lbs of weight overnight, (though I may well have with the food I ate), and a lot of it is probably be water weight. But enough is enough, and too much is just plain daft. We all do daft things from time to time. The trick is to put it behind you and move on. I am choosing to have a few reset days of light eating to see if I can redress my blowout yesterday. Though if the truth be told, I have been sliding most of the week. I know this is only a blip. THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

08/11 - 207.6! Wow! Haven't seen a drop like this in a while. Very happy! Hoping I can maintain but probably wont tomorrow, cheated a little today on my macros but stuck to my calories. Had a special occasion today, so not holding the macro cheat against myself. Will do better with macros and exercise for the rest of the week though! Until then, grateful for the loss I had today

I'm back! Which actually makes me pretty happy. I don't really have a weight goal for this 10 days because suddenly lost 3 lbs last week, so I am expecting a weight loss stall. My goals for the 10 days are no sweets and aerobic exercise at least 6 times and strength training at least 3 times in that 10 days.
