Hmmmm what I've started doing to help with late night snacking:
Eat majority of my calories earlier in the day. I've been having a huge lunch with lots of protein.
I have a late afternoon snack (4pm) blueberries and greek yoghurt before I head home at 5pm.
I've been chugging a large bottle of water right before dinner so I feel full and eat less.
After dinner I've opted for a pepperment tea instead of normal tea and a snack4 -
Feeling like I could do some serious snacking tonight. I'm going to report for the day and hope this keeps me out of the kitchen.

Anyone experiencing this negative side effect of this Challenge?
So my new problem is that if I know I'm going to break and have a late snack, I seriously go whole hog and eat the entire pantry!!!
So yesterday I was still hungry and I ate the last serving of the plantain chips.
Well, I already blew my LNS, so why not eat the homemade peach ice cream that I haven't been able to fit into my daily calories since the first day I made the ice cream.
Well, now I want something salty...
And the spiral continues...

You sound like me. Many people here say to leave yourself enough calories at the end of the day to accommodate your treat. I can't do that. It would lead me to want more.
I had to give up my sweets. Cold turkey. Day one on mfp. I don't regret that decision at all. It's kept from overloading on stuff.0 -
