Here's what happened...last night, I was sorting thru some old purses to get rid of, because even though I really like them, I haven't used them in a long time and most likely will not be using them anymore and in one of them, I found an old i.d. pic of me when I was I'm guessing somewhere between 190-200lbs or so (NOT even my highest weight ever ), and me oh my...my face, head and neck looked so huge and swollen, it looked like I had a "fat-suit" on (ya know how actors use wax or plastic or something to make themselves look fat). It was so shocking to see me that way, it made me cry a bit and actually kinda scared me some too, because I was kinda smiling in the pic, but could see super sadness/hopelessness in my eyes in the pic and remembered how utterly miserable I was in those days and also part of the cry was sheer unadulterated JOY that those days are forever OVER! Seeing that pic (and I don't have a lot of pics of me obese and overweight, because I dreaded taking pic and would avoid them like the plague). I look completely and totally 100% different now, I don't look anything like I did when I was obese--I now look like an entirely different person--I actually look like that's pic of me's daughter or something...WOW!
Now to the good news, in another purse I found $65.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Three crisps twenties and a five and I WAS THRILLED. I also found an old gift card in another old purse and it expires in 2020, I called to check to see if anything is on it, and was so PLEASED to discover $18.00 on it! I also found an old pair of SUPER CUTE sun-glasses in another purse, that I haven't seen in years and a nice, full roller-ball perfume stick I used to love and hadn't seen or thought of in years!
You hit the jackpot in so many different ways!

You are amazing! You look absolutely beautiful - then and now.4 -
I just bought a pair of size 8 high waisted jeggings! My size 10s at home still fit fine but I'm guilty of washing and drying them so maybe they've shrunk a bit. 🤷 I got them from the same store, but the size 10s in the store were too big!!!7

Oh my. I have had THE most stressful day. Trying to navigate the education system in the UK is a nightmare at times. I have spent way too much time over the last week trying to sort things out for my son, just because the college likes to prevent people from achieving too much.
Normally stress = chocolate. Excessive chocolate
Today, stress = four tiny pieces of chocolate plus an 8-mile walk. Which I was actually able to do without to much discomfort (apart from aching feet. Tomorrow will probably tell a different story though!).
Progress!23 -
Hit 100lbs on my bench! I’m about to be out for 3 weeks for surgery/recovery, so happy to go out on a high note21

I just won $600 for reaching 2nd place in a fitness challenge ! Not only did I reach my weight goals, but I’ve remembered who I am again, a healthy, fit woman and a fierce competitor😁27

My blood sugars are normal, I am officially off Metformin (although I actually stopped taking it 2 months ago), my liver tests came back normal and I am only slightly aghast at sharing this:

Cute suit!!! Way to go!2 -
1) My health insurance came to my office yesterday and offered $50 to do a biometric screening. It also offered another $50 for hitting key targets for health like blood sugar, cholesterol levels, BMI, etc. My employer offered to match. I'm $200 richer today.
2) Today I hit a new PR* for my 200 IM.
*Not actually a PR because I'm sure I went faster in high school, but 20 years removed from that time, it feels pretty good to go 2:4523 -
that suit is amazing!!!!0

Got in my cycle trousers that I haven't been able to wear. This is truly an NSV as my bottom really can tell the difference after the ride to work9

I was shopping with a friend and found a blazer I really liked but they did not have a Large. So I though well I will try a medium and use it for a goal. It fit. I have not worn a medium since High school!22

Although the skin around my jawline and neck is not as taut as I would like it to be (or as it was the last time I was this weight), my weight-loss turkey waddle seems finally to have dissipated. You know that one where there is just a flap dragging down directly from the point of your chin?16

I can do chores around the house instead of having to depend on others to do them. Including lifting and carrying!16

Now for four miles under 15:00 per mile!
Great work Steve! You will get there!!!!!2
