and that could change as your type of clothes change - guess thats why its best to weigh naked3

Mine weight anywhere from a pound to 2.5 pounds depending on what I am wearing, with jeans weighing the most.
That is why it is best to weigh without clothes, as it removes them from being a variable in a change in weight.3 -
That's why when I have a doctor's appointment, I wear the lightest clothes that I have, since I know they'll weigh me with clothes on.11

I am also guilty of this, haha!2 -
My scale weighs heavy, so when I go to the doctor, I weigh less than I did at home. A couple of pounds is such a negligible amount though, so I never worry about it.
Minuscule fluctuations daily. 🤷🏻♀️2 -
I work from home and pretty much wear the same thing (tshirt and shorts) everyday. Since I thought my clothes weight maybe a pound, I never really worried about it.
I wonder if the additional shirt and shoes I wear to the doctor make up the 3 pound difference between their scale and mine...0 -
When I go to the doc they weigh me with my clothes. And shoes on. If Ididn’t put down my purse and cane they would probably include them.😋2

It helps to weigh on the same (reasonably new, digital) scale in the morning, after the toilet, in the same level of dress (minimal or none). It still fluctuates by several pounds...2

With my shoes and all the stuff in my pants, I can weigh-in at 5-6# heavier than when naked.0

I checked a long time ago and it was about 5 pounds with shoes and things in my pockets. I don't really worry about weighing heavier at the doctor than at home because I am still losing weight. The only time it sucks is when I have hit a fairly large milestone and then the doctor's scale puts me back over again.2

Mine are 3 to 4 pounds, ish. Today I'm wearing almost exactly 3 pounds of clothes, at least according to my scale. I usually weigh in PJs, which are light and don't change much.
Sort of disheartening to weigh at the doctor with all my clothes, usually midday after meals lol.0 -
That must be without shoes.1

I went to the doctor last week. When they took me to the scale, I took my phone out, went into the Garmin app, and told them what I weighed that morning without clothes or food. They were happy to use my number.8 -
I was surprised to find just my underwear and workout pants were 1.5lbs.0

My current Dr doesn't weigh me until I request it. They ask how much I weigh because they know I weigh at home (naked)0

If you weigh yourself naked you are indirectly concerned about the weight of your clothes.10 -
Yup, 2 pounds is pretty typical for clothes. When I weigh at the gym, or if I'm at home but don't feel like stripping down, I just subtract 2 pounds for regular clothes, or 1 pound for workout gear. Sweats and a fleece takes me up to 3 pounds.0

I weigh in my gym clothes each morning. The size M gym clothes, with shoes, weigh 2.8 lb. At the beginning of this, when my gym clothes were XL, they weighed 3.4 lb. I apply that delta before entering weight on this site.1

Never thought about how much my clothes weigh, in or out of the doctor's office, ever.
In the absence of it being directly related to why you are being seen that day, doctor's only care what you weigh if it puts you in the clinically obese or underweight categories by BMI chart and then only if they happen to be looking at it specifically. They frequently won't even catch rapid unintentional weight gains or losses unless you tell them about it. Even then, there's a whole lot of shrugging that can/will go on if you are not actively ill/dying before their very eyes.
It's a ticking off of a box on a screen and not much else otherwise these days. My dogs get better annual health check up physical exams and evaluation of their vitals than I do, lol.

I weigh myself naked everyday and for me it's a matter of accuracy and, if they let me, I'd be happy to do the same at the doctor's office.
I'm a member of AANR (Association of Nude Recreation) and after many yrs of walking around and laying naked in the sun, I would have no problem dropping my drawers anywhere that I would not be arrested for doing so.
LOL!

The only times I recall having been weighed at the doctors would have been during pregnancies.
Even then it was standard practice for them to subtract 2lbs for indoor clothing and 4lbs if you left a jacket and shoes on. That’s in the UK though and quite a few years ago now! Generally if they need to know how much I weigh they’ll just take my word for it.0 -

Yes, after 7 years of regularly going to a clothing-optional beach in South Florida, my doctor is far more concerned for my modesty than I am0
