Goal weight this month: 168 I hope that's realistic. (I've been having a hard time being on top of my eating and losing, and only lost 2.5 lbs in August. Going back to work this week, and that will be stressful.)

19 Sept - 174.2 - Yay - 10 LBS DOWN!! It has been very slow but I feel that I've found a way eat that I can live with for the rest of my life. I am done with yo-yo-ing. Ive gained and lost 50 lbs at least 5 times. The key, for me, I realize now, the daily weigh in is the key. Even when I am not eating well, I have to face it and weigh in every morning. As soon as I skip the scale, I stop journaling and start eating just a bit more each day which with my metabolism means gaining! Also, Ive noticed that when I exercise, I lose better for the entire week even if it was only once or twice.4 -

20 September 304.8 Struggling with plantar fasciitis (severe heel pain) today. Itβs been coming for a couple of weeks but I tried to work through it. Big mistake. Desperate to get my steps in but itβs unbelievably painful. Ice is helping and Iβve bought a kit from Amazon. Fingers crossed it helps. Will be delighted if I manage to get down to 300 this month let alone my overly optimistic 299!4
