What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I have three. A doctor visit tomorrow, a healthy wage 6% competition I am 5 lbs away from being done with, and a 5k I am running for the first time ever in October.3

I have a spreadsheet tracking my goals and what I lose each week. I'm an unrepentant nerd For milestones I have a special thing to buy myself or something fun to do.
Next target is 6 pounds away and I get to buy myself boxing gloves and pads *grins*5 -
Having decided I was going to enter the 'Cancer Research September Cycle challenge' there were two options, 200 miles or 300 miles. The advice was pretty consistent;
"You haven't been on a bike for years - try for 200"
"You missed going to the gym this week, that makes 11 years in a row - are you sure you want to do this"
"Look in the mirror chunky, you'd be better of going for 2 miles not 200"
I am going to do 300+ miles12 -
I found out I'm going to be honored at a banquet next month so time to really kick things into gear. Back at the gym lifting weights for 3 times a week. I know there will be photographers there.11

I finally changed ‘decades’ and entered the 180’s. I’m now 6.7 lbs away from my next mini goal to have lost 100 lbs. How should I celebrate that milestone when I get there? 🤔9

I’ve got a posh dinner out with family on 5th October. I’d love to be able to wear a pink dress that hasn’t fitted for about 2 years. It’s not too far off but I don’t feel like I could eat in it yet!!3

I've been trying to get down to the weight I was when I started dating my boyfriend (and then some) and I'm only 2 ish lbs away !11

To break into the 160s. So far I've gained 18 pounds consistently and i feel great.2

To get to under 90kg, or just under 200lb, before Christmas. I have 6kg to go...6

Final goal weight is close enough that it is considered a mini goal. Six more pounds.10

To stop eating like I belong on my 600 pound life, get back to ‘running’ my 5k a day & lose the 8 pounds I’ve put on in the last three months before none of my jeans fit... again9

My next mini goal is to lose another 3 pounds. This will bring me under my weight this time last year - I put on weight over winter, and have been working on it this year. Then after this goal, further weight loss will be hitting entirely new figures!6

Seeing the 220's, heck I'll even take 229 right now. Started near 260 mid June and have been lingering at 230 for the last week or so. I know its right there but is feels unreal and has been motivating me8

My mini-goal has been the same since I started this weight loss journey: to lose 1 kg.
And then another, and then another... No deadlines.
So far I've had 20 of these "small" victories, only 5 more to go. It's so much easier to focus on one step at a time, instead of feeling overwhelmed by the final goal.11 -
To do ten pull-ups. Getting there, managed seven yesterday..not perfect form but not bad.6

To do the exercises my doctor gave me for my knee pain as many times a day as I'm supposed to.6

Going away with my lovely wife for our 25th, want to look acceptable on the beach8

6lbs away from a full hundred LB loss. I’m getting sick of saying “around 90lbs” when asked how much I’ve lost. Ultimately I want to say “121 lbs gone and I am officially half the size I started at”. You know like the articles on the covers of the woman’s magazine you see in the grocery checkouts.19

My upcoming cruise in December and not hating the pictures I will take on it.12

I joined diet bet and need to be at 138 lbs by Oct. 14. Accountability is everything.6

Finish my 30 day program ( which has taken obscenely long after picking it up for only a few days at a time) in the next two weeks before my husband gets back. I have 10 days left.7

I am 7 lbs away from losing 20% of my body weight. Then onto the next!! Slow and steady wins the race!!8

I'm 32 lbs. down and 7 lbs. away from being the weight I was on our wedding day, 39 years ago. I'd like to get there by years end!!!13

I am 180 lbs. today, logged in after a long time. Right now, just want to be able to follow through with a healthy diet and walk regimen, and not give up by Friday.9

2.5 pounds off 100 pounds loss.
It actually makes me a little emotional writing that. I've been downplaying my weight loss to everyone, myself included.

Kind of stopped being careful over the summer...not terribly but I did put on 2 lbs, after a 25 lbs loss! BUT I went on a cruise last week and I put on 5 more lbs! So it's time to buckle down! My goal is to stick to it and get back down ASAP4
