Got my side bends in last night. Up to 45 reps today. I think I'm going to level off at 50 for the rest of September. Because I'm doing 6 exercises, and marching in place between each to create a circuit routine with strength & cardio, 50 will pushes me into a 30 minute routine. I think that's a good goal for September - and sustainable. October will be focused on maintaining the habit. I'll look at increasing when it becomes less challenging.1

How are you doing, @superfood75 ?? I'm on a rest day today. I know what you mean about too many challenges. I've limited myself to 2 at a time. The other one is the 5lb loss each month. Thanks for starting this one this month - I've enjoyed it! It has helped me to be accountable and get back on track. I'm up to 50 reps on 6 exercises. It's doable and plenty challenging. I will probably hold at 50 until I'm ready to amp it up again. I march in place between sets to get a circuit benefit and add FitBit steps. At 50 reps, it's almost 30 minutes. If I go more than that, I'm apt to skip days. When it's time to increase the challenge, I will likely add weights vs reps to stay in that 30 minute window. Are we going to keep it going in October?2

Hello Lisa! Im doing good..How are you? Im glad your still doing the challenge. I picked two hard challenges. I did get compliments from coworkers. I can see that Im more toned. Would you be interested in a push up and easier squat challenge? Btw, do you do planks or burpees? I def need to do planks and push ups.Let me what challenges you would like..π0

I tip my hat to both you ladies @superfood75 @LisaW57 . Yall are rocking it, I got way off between lifeβs usual obligations and trying more challenges than I was ready for. Hoping to reset soon.2 -

I believe I'm more toned. Need to take a pic and compare to my July one to tell for sure. Planks might be cool. I've tried them before, and am not very good at them.
Pushups are good - I actually do them now. Inclined. Been at it since February or March. Within 6 weeks it had toned my back and shoulders you the point that I lost all the spill-over along the top/back of my bra.
Burpees are a no go. I'll turn 62 in October. No jumping for me lol. I have to protect knees and ankles - the whole reason I started lunges and squats was to build strength around those joints.
I'm flexible on an October challenge - pick what you want. If I need to substitute or modify, it's all good. I mostly like the accountability and encouragement.

Day 28 done! Tomorrow's a rest day. But it's also a party for my son and granddaughter who share back to back birthdays. I'm a little worried, so I may do another set before I go.1
