10/01 - DNW - Feeling like you know what today....missed my alarm and didn't have time to weigh
10/02 - 226 - This is my TOM weight.... no matter what I do I'm 226 around this time (doesn't help that I crave salty things) 3 workouts left to do this week.

9/30- 181 Good day, little longer yoga session. Neck isn’t bothering me today.

10/3- 180.4 walks are getting longer, able to do longer yoga sessions and introducing moves I couldn’t do before. Slowly but truly getting back into it.

This is my first round! I've been gaining a lot of muscle and losing fat. My weight stalled out around 300 lbs. I'm on my 14th week in a row of 3 weight training workouts per week. I'm down a shirt size! I have the mentality of small victories! No shame and no guilt over what I eat. I just learn from it and move on. This has helped me considerably!!

10/03 297 lbs My doctor called with great news I cut my A1C in half! I was 9.8 down to 5.5!!
10/04 298 lbs My wife and I were lazy and decided to just have pizza and we ate way to much. My sugar level was the highest it's been in quite a while too. Def not having that much carb overload again! Moderation and learning is key with this lifestyle.

10/1 165.9 Went to the gym and lifted weights, maybe that's the water retention? I haven't lifted in 2 weeks so maybe. I upped the weight on my legs and they are sore this morning! I have errands to run after work, but I hope it will be cool enough after that to get in a walk before dark. I am so ready to be in the 15Xs. My friend Mark that has been staying with me since July 9th is leaving today. I will have my house back and he will be on the next leg of his journey.

10/2 167.2 I had 4 dunker cookies last night right before bed. I didn't have time to walk after the errands. It's supposed to rain today so no walking outside. I think I'll do the treadmill. I haven't eaten enough calories to gain this weight. I'm sure it's water retention. My legs and arms are still sore from lifting.
10/3 166.9 Well that's something at least. I walked 3.25 miles last night, some in the rain. I found a new and interesting trail. I actually found it weeks ago but I've been waiting until my leg would cooperate. It was so nice, not the rain but the walk. I still feel puffy so we'll see what happens in the next few days. I feel I should be around 163 or 164 like I was last week.
10/4 166.7 I've eaten at maintenance the last couple of days. I had too many errands to walk last night. I'm in a bit of a funk over the roommate thing. I'm consumed with guilt for no legit reason. I think maintenance is ok for a week or so. I just need to stay away from sweets and I would be good. That is my comfort food. It took all my strength to not get the hot pumpkin pretzel with cream cheese dipping sauce for breakfast this morning. I don't know how many calories it had but I'm sure I can spend those on healthier choices even on maintenance.8 -

10/1: 223.6 (-0.6)/18.9 (-0.1). Spent the day at Magic Mountain with my 78-year-old dad. The guy LOVES roller coasters. I was feeling a bit nauseous by the end of the day, partially because I'm still recovering from illness the week before. Still, super-fun day; I walked a ton, and I am pretty sure I was under on calories when considering exercise.
10/2: 224.6 (+1.0)/19.0 (+0.1). My eating has been a bit squirrely the past couple of days. I probably ate twice as much as I "should" have last night, including some dessert. There's been no huge harm done at this point, so I'm going to focus on limiting the duration/intensity of this little "lapse" (meaning, cutting that $#!+ down in its tracks, RIGHT NOW). I am going to the gym tonight to lift weights and do some cardio.
10/3: 224.2 (-0.4)/18.9 (-0.1). Went to the gym last night and lifted weights. Ate okay throughout the day, and I was definitely under my calorie goal.
10/4: 224.4 (+0.2)/19.0 (+0.1). My wife surprised me with one of my favorite meals last night. It was so good... but I don't want to focus on that. I split what she brought me in two, and brought the other half to work with me for lunch. Gym tonight after work.

Yesterday’s stats: 1147 Calories In / 3093 Calories Out. 35 Net Carbs including some Fairlife 2% milk (8 oz) just to get a little extra calcium in. 18,463 Total Steps & 7.81 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 28 minutes. I did some light housekeeping in the tourist cabins for 88 minutes and I took a moderately paced walk for 75 minutes inside the school due to the rain. Total extra calorie burn 810. Everyone is doing GREAT!!! Keep up the good work folks!

Walking today may be an uncomfortable outside walk because it is so hard for me to leave the cabins on Fridays. Especially during a peak season & hunting season is now in full swing. Yesterday’s stats: 1365 Calories In / 2378 Calories Out. 55 Net carbs mainly from Chicken Shish Kebobs from dinner at my neighbors. (I used pretty good judgment). 13,483 Total Steps & 5.71 Miles. 10/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 47 minutes. I walked 2 miles at the school. I usually walk at least 3 but the halls were crowded. It was conference night & I could barely get through and felt in the way. Grabbed 2 miles & left. Pushing through it, I really felt committed to the process. Never say Never!

9/30- 206.4: Not sure what my weight was yesterday morning, so I ended last round at the weight Saturday morning and going from there. I had a really good weekend, but I wasn't feeling too good. Kind of forgot to eat at some points because I got really busy with stuff. Last night's dinner I did eat healthy with a small mix of some rice and a baked potato, but I'm not super upset about my 1lb gain. I did get into the gym Friday night and I'm going again today.
10/1- 206.2: Not a terrible way to start the new month, but wish I was seeing more loss. Didn't go to the gym yesterday because I was feeling so out of it. Started wearing contacts and they are killing my eyes and making me feel tired. I did push myself to take my dog for a walk, so I got some cardio in. Breakfast and lunch haven't been a problem for me, it's dinner that keeps messing me up. It will be mostly healthy and then one thing on the side is messing me up. I should go back to my baked salmon and just stick to that.
10/2- 205.6: This just made me really happy! I was so worried nothing was going to change. I made it to the gym last night and tried a couple different machines this time; stair climber and the more spinning cycling machine and my usual elliptical. I skipped strength last night and stuck with cardio. I had something in my eye all day and it was bugging me and by the time I was done I just wanted to go home and wash my eyes. I stayed in my cal range (If this app logs poke salads correctly) and Got an ok amount of water in. Thinking I'll hit up Trader Joe's for dinner tonight and make some chicken and a side salad.
10/3- 205.4: Meh. I noticed the days I go to the gym I do see more of a difference in my weight loss the following day. I skipped last night because I got stuck at work and by the time I got home, made dinner, and ate, I was just out of it and felt like I haven't been getting enough sleep. I made Trader Joe's Chicken teriyaki, light on the sauce, and discovered their broccoli slaw! Mixed that all together for dinner and it was delicious. My mom made an amazing pasta Alfredo baked chicken which I had a small piece of, it was just too good. Back in the gym tonight, might try the other gym and get some Jacuzzi time for once.
10/4- 203.8: YAY!!!! I'm so happy to see this loss. I'm also not too surprised. I was really depressed yesterday. Work is taking a toll on me and there's so much on my plate right now. I was overwhelmed and crying at my desk. I was so sad I also hardly ate. Just didn't have much of an appetite at work. I came home and got some Ceder Plank Salmon from Aldi and grilled that with some veggies. I only had a bit and my parents ate the rest. I know I said I would go to the gym yesterday, but I was in such a funk I stayed home and didn't want to talk to anyone. I'm heading to my boyfriends for the weekend so hopefully that will cheer up my mood. I'm also taking my scale with me lol. I know he's going to make fun of me and give me crap, but I know my body and need to see why and when it fluctuates so much when I'm at his house.

09/30 – 145 – I’m glad I didn’t go up anymore. I’ve got the water ready along with some healthier snacks for the office this week.
10/01 – 144.5 – I started a short work out program with my husband yesterday.

10/03 – 144.5 – Worked out last night, but I’ll have to start logging my food again. I know my little healthy snacks are adding up.
10/04 – 143.5 – I’m happy to see a little drop before the weekend. I’m going to really watch this weekend’s calories and try to do a couple short workouts.

Am noticing small changes with my body besides the 3lb loss this week I think my arms and abdominal area appear slightly more toned. 10/04: 92.6lbs (-2.4lbs from start) I'm surprised at how much I'm losing so quickly. My goal was 1.5lbs per week. I'd better be able to put on some muscle over the next few weeks but I am happy with my body right now too. Have been finding it hard to eat large amounts tho and have been...how do I put this...sick but the opposite of throwing up 😰 tmi? Yeah probs. But it maybe explains why it's such a drop. Anyways going to do a mostly cardio day at the gym today but will put time aside to do some reps of the strength exercises PT showed me in between bits of cardio. Hopefully can still get in a little workout even though haven't been feeling the best & likely under eating good luck to everyone today! Stay strong 💪💗xoxo

Put the portion you “should” eat on your plate but when you are SATISFIED stop. You don’t want to feel stuffed. And when dinner rolls around, if you aren’t hungry, DON’T eat. We have been taught to eat at certain times but listen to your body. If you had breakfast and aren’t hungry at lunch, skip it. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! By the way, my calories are frequently under what the Senza app shows but I don’t pay attention to that, I watch my macros.3

9/30 181.5 I’m back, after a stressful week and some weight gain. Although I worked out all week last week I ate more than I burned. Also made a lot of bad choices, it’s a new week and almost a new month. Back to logging my food and meal prep is done for the week.
10/1 180.5 (-1) Off to a good start. Finished 50 minutes of boot amp and getting my 45 minutes of cardio in before work.
10/2 179 (-1.5) Gym at 5am with my awesome accountability partner, broken toe and all! Way to push through.
10/3 179 +/- 0 No change on the scale but It’s a good thing! Always great to start the day at the gym but missing my workout partner.
10/4 178 (-1) Date night with my accountability partner last night and I didn’t cheat! Woke up early for a 5am workout and took progress pics! Can’t wait to see results.

09/30 195.6 (-.2)/ 28.7% (-.1%) had a rest day from the gym yesterday. Stayed within my calories. Probably didn’t eat the best but it wasn’t horrible.
10/01 195.8 (+.2)/ 28.8% (+.1%) I didn’t eat the best that’s for sure. But ready for a new day. Another night of playing soccer but not indulging in carb overload before.
10/02 195.0 (-.8) / 28.7% (-.1%) yesterday i again has zero motivation but at least it was the same motivation for food. Didn’t eat to bad. Played soccer last night. Had a late dinner but it wasn’t horrible.
10/03 196.0 (+1.0) / 28.9% (+.2%) had an ok day yesterday till it came to dinner and after. Not sure I even tracked correctly. Probably not. Had a rough start to today so my timing of weighing in was off. But we’ll see where to go from here.

09/30 :: 187.0 :: Logged all my meals for this day! 150cal over my budget but I'm proud I logged it all after a period of skipping logs
10/01 :: 187.0 :: I forgot to check weight this morning.... but I'm making sure to keep up the food logging! Successfully strayed away from an apple crisp treat left in the office kitchen, even though my coworkers all had some. Under my budget by 200!
10/02 :: 184.2 :: Logged all my meals yesterday and exercised twice - Beat Saber this morning and Yoga class tonight. Under budget by 200 - if I include all my exercise (exercise excluded I'm waaaay over)
10/03 :: 182.4 :: Logged all meals yesterday and exercised for 30 min this morning! been trying for 8 hours of sleep nightly, and last night I got a nice 8.5h. Still feeling groggy from weeks of <8hr/night. Overate by 400 calories, lost my wallet and stress ate, "treated" myself to boba to cheer me up.
10/04 :: 184.8 :: Logged all meals yesterday. Woke up early to hit up the DMV to replace my driver's license, so I only got 6 hours sleep. Best laid plans, amirite? I had a big breakfast (breakfast burrito at del taco) so I'm having a small salad for lunch to make up.

My first round! Not sure what to expect
Goals:
Reduce calorie intake to < 1500
Maintain my exercise plan - 3 x 90 minute swims, 2 x 3 mile outdoor walks, and 2 x 2 miles walk/jog treadmill
Keep the carbs as low as possible < 30 grams
I have been on a plateau for two months and am ready to make changes!

10/01 - 102.9 k
10/02 - 101.7 k (probably water loss but I will take it!) 1735 calories, 29 net carbs and walked 3 miles outdoors, felt super bloated at the end of the day but work up feeling good. Here is to another good day!
10/03 - 101.1 k 1315 calories, 17 net carbs and ran 1 mile followed by leg workout. So far so good!!!

10/03 - 198.4! Down a little even though all I did yesterday was be a lazy jet lagged lump with a huge appetite. Getting back on the horse now that my vacation is over, heading back to work, going to the gym and sticking to my food goals! Excited to keep making progress for the rest of this challenge
10/04 - 197.2! Wahoo! So happy to be making so much progress. I'm almost at my second milestone goal of losing 20 lbs! Maybe I can even get there next challenge. Fingers crossed... In the meantime, got lots of work and exercise done and met my food goals. I bought some KetoChow so now I just have to work up the courage to actually try it. I usually hate protein powder texture and I'm worried it will be like that, but I need to try before I decide I dont like it. I figure it will make future travel easier. Just got a temp side job of leading a few camping trips this fall so this could be a good food option in lieu of eating the sandwiches campers get.
