@tiabirdie56 Tish, Thank you. I hadn’t looked at the croissants that way but that might have been an okay choice particularly if I had taken some ham and/or bacon from home to make it into a sandwich! I will have to remember this tip!! We’ll have the same fare the next 2 months as we do Saturday morning rather than Wednesday night during October, November, and December. At least it’s only once a month!!4

10/10, 138.5 Second time to try this challenge. I dropped 1/2 a pound over night, so I don't believe yet. If I'm still in the 138's tomorrow, I'll be happy. However, it is motivating to see 138 on the scale again. It's been a long time!
10/11, 138.2, I can't believe I'm actually losing weight. Not drinking has made a huge difference. I was coming home from a stressful day of work and having a couple of glasses of wine every night. Now I'm out exercising, and taking my dog for multiple walks.
10/12, 139, hmmm. I injured myself, and have been taking ibuprofen around the clock, which always puffs me up. I hope the gain is just water :-/
10/13, 141.2, I couldn't bring myself to type this in yesterday 10/13, but here it is, up a pound overnight.
10/14, 139, seems like I've gained 1/2 pound since the beginning of this challenge. Last challenge, I was tracking every day. This challenge, I injured my back, so not exercising as much, not tracking, and I'm taking pain medication at night. Today, I'm going to start tracking again, and get out for a good walk with my dog. Otherwise, I'll be right back where I started.

@debbie7373 Don’t give up! I don’t know what plan you are following but try something different. Doing Keto/LCHF I had to increase my healthy fat intake to get the scale moving, cut the carbs - eliminating sugar and wheat products is a good place to start. Simple CICO has been proven ineffective. Never give up. And remember it can take several days for a good or bad day to show on the scale! Also @jupollock

10/10: 297.5 lbs (-0.6) … Feeling good, had a great run this morning. 41 minutes of running straight with no walk breaks, a record for me. (Couch to 5k Week 8 Day 3 completed).
10/11: 301.1 lbs (+3.6) … oof. I blame dinner out. Was in budget, but it was more food (and more carbs) than I usually eat.
10/12: 299.2 lbs (-1.9) … down a bit again. Spent 5 hours today taking care of leaves in the yard. I’m sure I burned a lot of calories.
10/13: 298.1 lbs (-1.1) … down a bit more. Sore from yesterday, I took it pretty easy.
10/14: 299.0 lbs (+0.9) … up a little. Really not making any progress weight-wise this round. Maybe that’ll change in the last leg. I’ve been putting off my run due to soreness from Saturday’s yardwork. I’ll get out there and do it tomorrow morning.

10/10 - 195.2! Starting strong makes me happy. So great to be at the lowest weight I've seen on the scale in over two years! Managed to get bacj to the gym today after way too much time away, so feeling proud of myself for that. Didnt do an excellent job with food, didn't have much of an appetite so didn't eat a lot. Will try to reach my calorie goals tomorrow. Usually a low appetite day is followed by a high appetite day, so tomorrow's challenge will probably be to not go over calories
10/11 - 195.8! Not too surprising, I feel like I usually get an up after I don't eat a lot. It's counterintuitive but I think maybe I lose appetite from bloating or water retention that causes it, or maybe I make worse choices when I eat less bc I feel like I deserve a high calorie meal for dinner since I barely ate breakfast or lunch. Anyway, no worries... Headed out of town this afternoon
10/12 - out of town. went to a famous Brewery last night and just drank water and had a salad while my friends had tons of beer and pizza, felt pretty proud. Went tubing on a river for a few hours which was great fun, again just drank water while everyone else had beer. Didn't eat v much today, still dont have much appetite.
10/13 - out of town. We went wine tasting today, only drank at one winery, had two glasses of wine for the day. Otherwise, ate pretty healthy all day.
10/14 - 158... Pretty disappointed because I feel like I ate well during our weekend away and I didn't partake in any of the junk food, but still have gone up. Trying not to beat myself up, it's hopefully mostly water retention from salty foods all week plus starting my TOM. Exercised hard today, sticking to food goals and hoping to get lots of work done

10/11 121.0 Spent 6 hours sewing with a friend yesterday. Had a salad and meat balls for lunch and nothing sounded good for dinner. DH needed a meal so at 7PM we went to Panda Express. I got Kung Pao Chicken-not the best choice but not terrible -no side. I used to get the mixed veggies and then they turned it into “Super Greens” with kale 🤮🤮🤮 so now they have no side I will eat.
10/12 120.0 We’re going to Breakfast Bingo this morning. “Continental” Breakfast another name for a load of carbs.
**Late edit-bagels, English muffins, croissants, jelly, cream cheese, 3 brands of yogurt, cottage cheese, fresh fruit and canned peaches. I picked the lowest carb yogurt(9g,) some cream cheese, and some berries. Almost my daily limit of carbs before 10AM. I ate carefully the rest of the day.

10/14 121.0 It’s all good. Wine tasting party at my daughter’s yesterday-5 wines tasted, snacks eaten. While my weight went up 2#, my carbs were right at my limit and I’m still in nutritional ketosis and my glucose was 83 this morning. I’m sure this is water gain from the wine.

I slept 4 hours & 53 minutes and woke up tired. I did 32 minutes of light to moderate cleaning in the tourist cabins, I walked a DNR hiking trail (no backpack) at about 3.5 mph for 115 minutes (almost 5 miles) and I did aerobic dancing in my livingroom for 26 minutes. The sleep must have aided in the weight loss because my numbers were good and within limits but not as good as they have been recently.
10/13 …..190.2 ….. I went out to dinner with my son who came in to visit from another town. A nice surprise but I didn’t know he was coming or I would have limited breakfast & lunch. I made better choices at the restaurant than usual but still….there is always fluid retention from those hidden things and sodium when I don’t cook it myself. It was nice to see him & the baby. Yesterday’s stats: 1799 Calories In / 2334 Calories Out. 79 Carbs. 14,008 Total Steps & 5.95 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. Not sure about sleep, I recharged my Fitbit. I dreamed last night for the 1st time in probably 20 years. It was a very strange dream but it was wonderful that I got to see my husband again. I woke up very tired & groggy. I wanted to lay back down to see if I could get back into the dream & see him some more, but the cat wouldn’t let me.
10/14 …..190.0 ….. I’m going to have to increase my fiber somehow today. I need TMI to help rid me of my indiscretions! A perfect day yesterday except for the breading on the chicken. Yesterday’s stats: 1696 Calories In / 3084 Calories Out. 40 Net Carbs. 19,422 Total Steps & 8.22 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 19 minutes. I did rigorous tourist cabin cleaning for 90 minutes, light to moderate personal housecleaning for 58 minutes and I did the elliptical for 19 minutes. Total extra calorie burn 739. Expecting 40 degree temps again today but finally no rain. Cold but beautiful.

10/10-204.2:Yay!!! So excited about this loss! I'm trying not to be so strict with my food because it's driving me crazy. I said screw it yesterday and had some chips. My breakfast and lunch are always good and for dinner I had chicken fajitas with a little avocado and sour cream. Had this all home made and didn't add any bread to it. My water game still isn't where I want it to be, but I'm working on it. I did get in the gym last night And it's been getting easier to go. Hardest part for me is how tired I feel after work. I won't be home until late tonight, so not sure if I'll go, but I will be getting a lot of walking in.
10/11-204.2: Annoyed, but also happy it's not going up. I had to leave work a little early yesterday to go to the Lotto office (I won $1,000 on a scratcher! ) and from there I decided to stop by the Outlets since it was in the area. I walked A LOT at the mall. And I was also so hungry (not good) and had a sample of bourbon chicken at the food court which sold me on getting a plate. I ate a little and felt full so packed the rest and kept walking. I got an iced water and headed home, but got hungry again and started munching on my leftovers. Was hoping to be down at least a baby bit, come on scale make it an even 204 dammit >:(
I'm just nervous. Driving out to see my friend tomorrow and she has no filter with food anymore and I don't want to go down that rabbit hole again. And it's like if you do eat less and try to be healthy they question you and guilt trip you into "come on lets have pizza and wine and chips and chocolate." Or maybe it's just my friends that are sucky like that. Kind of why I've been losing a lot of friends lately. You start to see their true colors. Anyways, happy Friday!!
10/12-205: Ugh! I did this to myself. I brought Armenian pizza to work for everyone. It's not as heavy as regular pizza, think of like a tortilla with some ground beef and cut up veggies on it and it's thing. I'm mad at myself because I was hungry and caved in and had 3 It was Friday night so I went out with my parents and had half a margarita and some chips and salsa. I didn't have much, but still.
10/13-DNW Was in Irvine spending the night at my friends so didn't get home until the afternoon. Made the mistake of having pancakes and has browns with my sausage and bacon at Dennys. I'm blaming the hormones right now.
10/14-206.4: I thought I had ditched 206, but here I am >:( More pissed at myself. I saw my friend over the weekend and we munched, but I still did pretty good. Last night I went to Souplantation and kinda let loose. Nothing too wild, but I should have had more salads and no pasta or baked potato. Also doesn't help it's been a few days since I last went to the gym.

10: 216.6 Tried cassava flour tortillas last night. So, so yummy. I'm totally over regular flour tortillas, and the whole family is onboard.
11: 214.4!! There's definitely a pattern with ovulation, weight stall/gain, and WHOOSH.
12: 213 I'm getting really excited for my next milestone! Less than 2 pounds to go, and I'll have lost 30 pounds in less than 3 months by dietary changes alone...and without uncomfortable sacrifice or deprivation. The acitivity/exercise will come, likely soon. My intention is to have this be a lifelong practice, so I'm only adding what I feel able to maintain at any given time.

I only include the last 5 rounds, but have been doing these challenges since round 58. Still trying to get into the 130's. It is proving to be a lot tougher than I ever imagined, but I am going to continue trying. Maybe we will do it this next 10 days!
Goal: No weight higher than 144.9 and see 140/141 at least 50% of the time on the scale.
Round 87: 148.2 - 143.6 down 4.6 Avg 143.73
Round 88: 143.6 - 147.0 up 3.4 Avg 145.84
Round 89: 147.0 - 143.7 down3.3 Avg 144.99
Round 90: 143.7 - 140.9 down 2.8 Avg 142.68
Round 91: 140.9 - 143.6 up 2.7 Avg 143.62
10/10 - 142.9 I am slightly annoyed this am. I have been really good, even through my 3 day weekend. I should be lower than this. I guess I will just keep going and hopefully I see a whoosh sometime in the near future. It seems like I can not get past 142/143 for the life of me. My maintenance is within 5 pounds of where I am today, but at the rate I am going I may not be there till next year, lol. Maybe tomorrow I will see a nice drop, I am on track for today and not going to self sabotage. This is just the way it goes sometimes.
10/11 - 141.5 Nice little drop. My lowest last week was 141.5 for 2 days, so maybe I can hold onto it this time. Really going to try and work hard this weekend. My daughter is having her wisdom teeth out this morning and then have to work this afternoon, so it's just going to be one of those days. No fast food! No fast food! That will be my goal today.
10/12 - 142.3 I’m ok with this. Had a couple of drinks last night with dinner, but food was in point. So this should go back down as long as I stay on track today. The weekends are my downfall. I only ate 310 calories all day yesterday because I knew I was going to have a couple of drinks with dinner. So I should have still been within my limits.
10/13 - 143.6 This is the rest of last night I guess. Will try and stay on track this weekend. Making myself be really good the rest of the month to lose these last couple of pounds.
10/14 - 142.8 Not bad for a Monday weigh-in. My best one so far. Halfway through this round and so far I am feeling really good about my progress. We will see what happens the next couple of days.

Happy thanksgiving to all fellow Canadians. Even though we live in Nicaragua, we have a great expat group, many of whom are Canadian. We will have a very traditional thanksgiving dinner tonight among many friends. Cheers10

Goals this round: 2 lb drop, drink tons of water (I have kidney stones and one has been kicking up the past month), get in more exercise (again, kidney stone has been hampering efforts)

10/10 158.4 that's down .2 from yesterday, the last day of Round 91, so again, happy camper here. I credit that to my exercise bike, just hiking seems to keep me fine for maintenance now, but seems I need a bit more for weight loss now that I'm so close to goal. GRRR! lol
10/11 159.8 FIE ON YOU CHINESE TAKEOUT FOOD!!! And of course, even overestimating the quantity when I logged, the site had me under by over 500 calories yesterday. FIE ON THE CALORIE ESTIMATOR AS WELL!!!
10/12 159.4 couldn't believe it, I ate 2 of the triple chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream icing that I made for the hubby's birthday yesterday! Imagine what I could have lost without 'em!
10/13 157.6 Water weight from that Chinese food. Hope it stays off!
10/14 157.6 WOO HOO! I held it, and over the weekend even!!! YES!!!
