Looks easy and good! That’s the way I cook soup, so I think it’ll be fine. Thanks!

Cully and Sully Tomato and basil. My mom’s cucumber soup or her mushroom - yum yum why didn’t I get the recipes?
Gazpacho with chopped onions and tomatoes on top on a hot day - with crusty bread nothing better.0 -
Lentil, slpit pea and chicken soup are my go-to soup recipes.
Chinese oxtail soup is also a face but requires more advance preparation0 -
Just made Hearty Quinoa and White Bean Soup from the NYT Cooking section. Pretty easy and tasty!

White bean and kale soup. I add a little precooked chicken sausage for a satisfying meal. So tasty and freezes well.

I found out that all the broccoli stalks and trimmings from the farmers market were free! They are in season right now where I live, so I’ve been filling my own string bags full of trimmings, then making broccoli stalk soup with onions from the garden and a little potato to thicken.
I whip up a peelings stock in the pressure cooker to use as the base, which is also free (I store and save up peelings in a freezer bag, carrots, celery trimmings, onion peelings, leek trimmings, fennel stalks... etc).
The secret to broccoli stalk soup is adding (of all things) Cajun seasoning! Weird right? It’s the flavour that makes it utterly delicious and brings out the flavour of broccoli in a much more pleasant way.
A whole stock pot of this soup, with 15 servings, costs me less than $1 and uses food that would otherwise be wasted.

My favorite is Panera broc cheddar with fresh baked crunchy french bread. We like to buy the panera broc cheddar 2 packs from sams or BJ's and freeze them and serve it with peperidge farms artisan frozen take and bake french rolls (next best thing then going to a actual panera.

Corn chowder!
I am actually not much of a soup person, and it just doesn't fill me up. So I like my soup as solid as possible.1 -

I had cauliflower and cashew soup for lunch today (not homemade) and it was delicious. I also love sweet potato and pear soup or caramelised onion and lentil soup.0

I made Turkish yoghurt soup yesterday.
7 cups of water
4 tablespoons rice
1 tablespoon of flour
1 egg yolk
1 cup yogurt
2 teaspoons of salt
Black pepper
Dried mint
For making yogurt soup , add water to the pot, add the rice after boiling.
Mix the eggs, flour and yogurt in a bowl.
Add over cooked rice and stir.
Add a pinch of dried mint while cooking.
After cooking for about 10 minutes, close the yogurt soup and add salt.
Yogurt soup ready to serve. Enjoy your meal.
NOTE: Yogurt may be cut if you add salt while cooking. Mint in butter can also be served on request.
I used 0% fat yoghurt and 2g dried mint instead of the "pinch" suggested. I also added a chicken stock cube to the rice water.
I didn't do the butter & mint sauce.
All in all it came out to;
Fat: 0.7g
Carbohydrates: 6.8g
Calories: 39.6
Protein: 1.6g
Per 100ml.
It's filling and really tasty.

Made beer cheese soup this past weekend. It’s a family favorite that took many tries, tweaking it to get it to where we really like. Very calorie dense, so I only make it once a year. I used to make it once a month from fall through spring. Great topped with popcorn and crispy bacon pieces.0

I will order a side of Broccoli & Cheese at most restaurants. Its hard to mess that one up. I get Lobster Bisque from Zoup and Chicken Tortilla soup from Max & Erma's.
At home, I usually make chicken noodle more than anything else.0
