Anyone ever try Isagenix or Go Cleanse?

Hi - My boyfriend and I recently started the Isagenix/Go Cleanse system. Interestingly enough it was his idea. Anyway, I just wanted to reach out to the Fitness Pal community and see if anyone had ever tried it and if they found success. Please let me know as I'd love to get people's opinion.

I think you'll find the general consensus around MFP is that this whole class of product (not just Isagenix) is devoid of merit and a waste of money.
The companies that make these products market them using scientific sounding terms like "cleanse" and "detox" which are entirely meaningless and the only really great reviews these products get are by people selling them and (because they're sold using a MLM model) recruiting new sales reps.
If someone (other than a gastroenterologist who has conducted medical tests) tells you that your colon needs cleansing and contains 5 lbs of rotting meat etc etc etc run away, run away fast. Focus on developing healthy nutritional habits that can be sustained for a lifetime. If you hear the term "fat burner" your BS detector should go ion red alert.
If weight loss is your goal eat a nutritious, well balanced diet at a modest caloric deficit (lots of fibre and water will ensure your colon never needs "cleansing" unless you're going in for a colonoscopy) and exercise more for fitness and health.24 -

Sorry, this is a years later response but I'm on Isagenix so, I'll leave that disclaimer. I didn't join to sell it but to kickstart getting healthier. I'm still on it 2 years later and it's been working for me.
First, I'll say as far as Isagenix goes, when they say "cleanse" it is not a colon cleanse or a bathroom cleanse. It's a cellular cleanse via supported intermittent fasting. A cleanse day in Isagenix is essentially a nutritionally supported fasting day. That's all. It works for a lot of people. Yes, it's MLM and there are those that do really well in the wealth part of the company. And there are more than enough people who are only in it to get healthier who have proven results. YMMV.3 -

“Proven results” come from peer-reviewed, published research, not from “I knew a guy” reports.18

Nobody does well in MLM. It's impossible since you recruit your own competitors.
But here, I'll explain further:
In 2016, Isagenix reported that only 21% of their consultants made money.
Of those, 0.21% took home livable wages. 10.5% made under $254. 8.4% made between $254 to $2822.
Everyone else made less than $38K.
So basically, of 366,670 consultants, 77,000 made any profit, and 770 made enough money to live normally.
The person at the top got rich and nobody else.
Either way, a 79% zero income rate is appalling. And it doesn't track negatives: the numbers of people driven tens of thousands into debt. The suicides. The marriages and lives destroyed.
They're predatory, dangerous and immoral. This is not YMMV. This is evil.32 -

To get healthier, eat (mostly) nutritious foods in an appropriate calorie level - and take any relevant medication prescribed by a real doctor, with real scientific research behind it.
