Oops posted to wrong thread
They're cakey. I wouldn't say undercooked though. Gooey if it's warm with melted chocolate chips. Yum, just thinking about them is making me hungry! Get one from a bakery to make sure you're trying a good one or make some at home.
I can see how it would be ok with a big scoop of ice cream. It just reminds me of undercooked heavy cake though.. I'll try some others just in case I got a bad one.1 -

I will hardly be able to resist a cinnamon bun from there. All fresh baked.
You should see wegmans... I'll have to take a photo next time. It is cruel.

They are actually called butter tarts, but include raisins and I had a brain fart.
I cannot figure out how to post pics from the app, but basically it's got a dense but flaky sort of shortbreadish crust and an ooey-gooey custard sticky filling comprised predominantly of raisins and brown sugar (and/or maple syrup or muscovado sugar) and butter.2 -

I used to would put one of those bad boys away for lunch. Or a chicken one. Beef was definitely my preference though.1 -

Haha yes! Banquet Chicken pot Pies... single serve. My gateway into the kitchen. As a kid I'd make them and top with cheddar cheese. I felt so fancy and grown up. just don't read the ingredient list... ha2 -
