12/19 133.6 I know my progress is veeeeerrrrrryy slooooooow but I am okay with it. I'm not deprived, and am exercising regularly so feel good about healthy and moderate living. The one thing I could have less of is sugar. I feel so addicted 😭

12/19: 276.4 (-2 lbs) I wasn't expecting to lose any weight, (just stay the same) I'm surprised that I did. Happy with the result,
12/20: 276.2 (-2oz) Ate a little to much yesterday, and didn't meet my goal to stay at or under calorie amount for the day. I still lost 2 ozs. Much better then gaining, will try to do better today. Be more mindful of what goes into my mouth.
12/21: 275 (-1.2 lbs) I did have some sugar cookies that were given to me, but I try to include whatever I eat into my daily calories and try to stay under. Which I managed to do yesterday. I try to keep my meals healthy, and be mindful of what I eat most days. Happy to have lost more weight. I try to stay under what MFP sets for me.
12/22: 272.8 (-2.2 lbs) I think this weight loss is due to my dinner not agreeing with me, upset my tummy yesterday. I think that's the only thing it could be, because I actually ate just a little over 300 calories more than the day before. I was still under calories so I didn't go over.
I'm Happy either way, because it's been a long time since I've been able to get below 275 lbs. Which was my goal for this round. From here on I'll just take it one day at a time and see how it goes.
12/23: 272.8 (-o.o) Holding steadyl! At least no gain.
12/24: 274.4 (+1.6) Wow 😠 I think it's all the stress and pain I'm in.😱 Probably retaining some water. I stayed under my calories. and my food intake wasn't to bad. It should disappear before this round is over. Hopefully 🙁

Goals for this round,. Stay hydrated (I don't drink enough), work on finding a workout routine that suits me. Eating at or below my daily calorie allotment.
Still working on my goals, and trying to figure out my exercise routine there are certain things I can't do at this time. I'll do my best to get in shape and be health and fit.

Do you take measurements? I’m terrible at that myself but if you are losing FAT and gaining MUSCLE your weight may not change but your body composition will. A pound is a pound but muscle takes up less space! - Jpv, 11/22/19

12/22 126.5 Before this 2 week trip, I had been hovering about 6# below my goal weight. I planned to allow myself to eat what tasted good so had bread at dinner each night and tried some extravagant desserts. That’s over now and I’m back to low carb. Carbs kill me!
12/23 124.5 OMAD yesterday, fasting today until tomorrow for traditional Christmas Eve pizza.
12/24 124.0 My fast only lasted 27.5 hours - coffee, tea, water, homemade chicken broth. I added pink Himalayan salt to the broth so may be hanging on to water. That’s okay, I’m fighting a head cold and feel as if my face will explode. Pizza tonight with the fam. I will eat toppings and a salad.
12/25 124.0 Merry Christmas everyone. Today we are taking “sticky buns” to the family. Another longtime Vaughn family tradition. I don’t eat them anymore but may make myself a cinnamon mug cake.

Salt. I ate out twice yesterday and Thai food the day before. Not too overboard on calories, but lots of sodium — I feel parched and puffy! Nothing scheduled today or tomorrow so I’ll aim low. 12/19: 218.6 (-0.8)/18.3 (-0.1). I've been sick for the past couple of days. If I could keep up being sick for about a month, I think I'd hit my goal weight! I'm feeling better today, so I'll just keep chugging along and doing this the old-fashioned way. I probably won't get to the gym until Friday (still feeling a bit under the weather).
12/20: 219.2 (+0.6)/18.4 (+0.1). Two things - first, I need to cross a premade meal that I like a lot off my list. My wife doesn't really like it, and I have trouble saving any of it (splitting it for dinner and then lunch). It's the devil, and we need to part ways. Lastly, my gas got shut off yesterday (long story, but apparently they can't transfer the autopayment from my previous location to my house, even though they're the same company). So I was cold. I think I wanted to use this as an excuse for eating all of my lovely premade dinner, but I have to call BS on myself. That dinner has to go!

69 years old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. A pinched nerve and back surgery side-lined me for about a year. Then I had back surgery. Now I'm waiting to get my hip fixed. Hip Doc said surgery in April. Ugh! I can't do any walking or biking...both kill me. I see my personal trainer three times a week. She is taking it very slow and easy with me. That's it.

12/19 110.4, BF 26.3% A tiny drop for the start of the round! Hoping to get back to the low of last round (ended on a gain) before the holidays, but that will be challenging with the weekend ahead!!! Went to step class this morning and had some time before meeting the trainer so did a 20 minute FTP test on the spin bike to see power on the bikes there - interesting that the numbers between gyms are so different (about 75 watts). Will focus on relative improvements, although a watt should be a watt... Had session with trainer and arms and glutes are definitely sore now! Calories are good for the day, although over on fat and under on carbs.
12/20 110.2, BF 26.2% Another drop in the right direction! Hope to maintain this over the weekend (need to watch sodium, wine, calories!!!) but no plans for eating out so that should help!!! Spin class today and maybe a couple of targeted chest/leg exercises for muscle groups that have recovered from strength training Tuesday!!!
12/21 110.4, BF26.3% up a little but still within rounding error of 110 :-) so will take it as maintenance! Was sore all over from weights yesterday, and feel “puffy” in shoulders and quads so likely some water retention with DOMS. Plus the dill pickle flavored potato chips probably did not help in the sodium department as LNS (manage to not eat them during dinner!). Light gym day to recover and taking care of last minute Xmas shopping!
12/22 110.2, BF 26.2% Bounce - still holding around 110! Rest day! Will get some steps in at the mall for last minute shopping.
12/23 112.8, BF 27.0% Monday bump! Been here and can take care of it! Just a bit more of a challenge with gym hours over the holidays. Did get a great spin workout this am and going to hit the weights later this afternoon and will have a 2-day recovery period! With yesterday being a complete rest day (did not even close my apple watch exercise ring) it looks like maintenance calories on rest days will be around 1495. Doable but will need to keep measuring and tracking to keep hit that. Really do not want to end this round with a gain following the last round...
12/24 112.2, BF 26.8% Bounce down. Christmas eve dinner - roast capon, pear & blue cheese salad, sous vide fingerling potatoes, carrots with orange and ginger, cranberry/orange compote and a dark chocolate tart with (sugar free) candied orange zest. With wine will be over, but time to enjoy food with friends and family! Rest day from gym as will be busy cooking and last minute grocery shopping!
12/25 114.0, BF 27.1% Yikes that is a big bump, but likely cumulative extended weekend effect with food & wine, plus less exercise than usual. Christmas dinner should be a bit better calorie wise and will probably just have 2 meals today (big breakfast and then early Christmas dinner). Making Lapsang Souchong Tea/Red onion/balsamic vinegar rubbed salmon spirals with mashed sweet potatoes, asparagus and an orange beurre blanc sauce with leftover chocolate tart and ice wine for dessert. Hoping to stay within calories and have time to get an elliptical workout in during the day to work off some of the excess while kids are occupied with all the Christmas presents!
12/26 111.4, BF 26.5% Whoosh!!!! Looks like dealing with water retention. Interesting from tracking % body water, % water increases with a whoosh and decreases with bumps - would have thought it would be the other way around, but has been pretty consistent! Was close to calories yesterday and had a double session on the elliptical so probably burned up glycogen stores (which would partially explain the drop). Morning latte and then gym time (step class was canceled so did HIIT on bike on my own and then yoga for stretching). Going to hit the weight room later.

I’ve been really bad at keeping up. Mostly because I’ve been sick and exhausted. I am currently 14 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. and the first trimester got the best of my physically. But I’ve maintained my weight loss. Today I weighed in for the first time in a few weeks. 192.3. Not bad for me!! It’s only +1.1 from probably a month ago. While being pregnant through the holidays. I’m keeping up with everyone here and trying my best. I might slack at posting but I’m reading everyone’s posts and staying motivated. Consistency is key and as long as I stay here my whole pregnancy I know it will be so much easier when it’s over to get back to a healthy lifestyle and weight10

12/19: Did not weigh in this morning, just forgot to and probably for the best because I've eaten a little more than I probably should have over the last couple days. Hoping to get back on track today. I've been so very hungry though, guessing it's the added strength training.
12/20: 134.0 - not surprised, could have been worse. Right back on track this morning. But I know we are eating out tomorrow night and will have to make good choices. It's going to be hard, we are going to my favorite Thai restaurant, a real treat.
12/21: (my birthday!) 133.4 lbs - We ate lunch out with friends yesterday and it did not sit well with me at all, didn't eat the rest of the day. Still feeling a little queasy this morning. Will try to make good choices today, there will be some celebrations and lots of my favorite foods. Will just plan to put aside half or more to take home. I don't really want any sweets but the family does so I might have a bite of something. Worked out legs and shoulders yesterday and then played 2 hours of pickleball, my elbow/wrist felt pretty good - I'm trying out a new brace combo that seems to be working. Playing again today.
12/22: 133.6 - could be worse. Yup, I indulged within reason yesterday. Went over my calories and that included a good 2.5 hours of exercise. Back at it today. Looking forward to the half portion of dinner I took home for lunch today .

12/24: DNW - 2 hours of pickleball and a 30 minute strength workout today.
12/25: DNW - Christmas, ate all sorts of stuff and didn't log calories. Just enjoyed the day. And went for a 30 minute walk to counter some of those calories.
12/26: 133.8 lbs - figured there would be a bump up, this is not bad. I indulged yesterday and know all my hard work won't be undone by a day or two of indulgence. Still motivated to stay on track. Right back at it today. 2 hours of pickleball and 30 minutes of weight lifting. And no sweets!
