Hey girls! Looking to see success stories from women around my height and size, I’m 5’2” & 154lbs my goal weight is 130lbs!

Hello, thanks for starting this discussion. I am 5'2" and currently 183, down from 203. It really is a struggle. I have to be really strict with food. I am open to any tips anyone may have. I try to eat 1200 calories per day but I find that when I exercise a lot I get really hungry. My theory is that it is all about calories, but I need quality and "clean" foods. I am following a book called "Always Hungry" by Dr. Ludwig. I like his ideas because he promotes healthy and balanced eating, cutting carbs. I have to eat way less than the book starting point advice. My daily goals are approximately: carbs<100g, fat = 50g, protein = 100g. I exercise six days a week and I am still trying to tune my exercise habits. Dori48

Hi.
I’m 5’1 and 164lbs. I struggle sticking to my calorie goal. I start out strong but end up caving. I just finished a year membership with Noom. I lost 10lbs in a year. Very, very slow but I made some changes that I could live with. I still need to track my food daily and weigh to maintain and continue my weight lose. My goal is 145lbs.29 -
I am 5’2” 146lbs. At my highest, I was probably close to 160lbs. I felt terrible and stopped stepping on the scale. I starting working out/weight training regularly a couple years back and that is where I started to see changes to my body composition. Some months I workout more than other months. Right now I am crushing my workouts 🍑 I am mid-success story, lol35

Hi pals! I’m 5’1” and I’m 131 right now and my goal is 120. I think it is so hard for us “shorter” girls because a five pound difference is noticeable. We’ve got this y’all!!!53

I’m 5’3 and started at 225lbs and am at 130lbs now. I’d like to get to about 125lbs.89

I'm just barely 5'1 (154cm) started at 150 lb (68kg) now at 117 lb (53kg). Took 14 months at a 0.5 lb/week deficit. Trying to get closer to 110-112 lbs.28

48, 5'2" started at 117 and hovering 110. I'm trying to get more lean/muscle tone by working out more.

I am 5'2 started at 161 now down to 121 from intermittent fasting. Feeling great. I do 5:2 fasting. I have since January 2019. Hoping to get down to 115 this year.20

5'4" 2006 weighed 232plus
currently weigh 158.2; hoping to get to 140.
watching protein intake to 100 grams and cutting sugars and carbs. light walking. hope to reach goal by April as my second grandchild is due, time to focus! keeping the daily log is helpful and accountable even if i eat an oreo or two and half bag of cheese puffs, my current weakness!21 -

I'm 5'3", started at 197lb and I'm currently at around 155lb. Still have a long way to go, but I'm happy I've made progress
I've found that limited time elimination diets have worked best for me to help with controlling cravings. I did keto for a couple months last year and now I'm on paleo. It just helps kick-start the process for me and get me back on track and focused. Once I'm off, I try to only re-incorporate the healthier things I cut out, like oatmeal, natural sweeteners, yogurts, etc. and keep out the empty carbs.
I also try to run when I can and I use the Nike Training app for in home strength training. My friend group is really active as well, which helps! I probably play volleyball every other week or so, and we were hiking all summer long.
My goal weight is around the same as yours, so if you want support feel free to add me! It's a tough journey but totally worth it75 -

And yes, those are different pants. Went from SZ 16 to 10. Same shirt & shoes though16 -

I am 5'2", at my heaviest on the left I was 150 lbs at 37 yrs old, 3 years after giving birth to my daughter. We'd gone on our 10 yr anniversary trip to Mexico and when I saw the pictures of me in a bathing suit, I knew I had to do something. The picture on the right is the first bikini I'd ever owned let alone wore,
I started WW and a workout program and was able to lose 25 lbs in 4 months and I haven't looked back since. 8 1/2 yrs later I maintain around 125 pounds. I have gone above that and below but have never let myself get back over 130.69 -
