A pretty boring, routine week. Successes were getting cardio in daily and consistently logging. I'm crushing the step challenge at work and have enjoyed that bit of extra motivation. Still struggling with getting in strength training, and fighting the first cold I've had in forever.

Well done, @mtaratoot ! I think being able to visualize that decline is always reassuring.

Hi! My name is Kristen. And I struggle to maintain my weight. I have had great success losing/gaining, but I'm hoping this group helps me be more accountable. I weigh only 1x week on Sundays, so that's when I'll check in. My 2 goals in 2020 are to not let the scale go above 153 and weigh in EVERY Sunday for the WHOLE YEAR. This seems easy to most, but I get lazy and make excuses why I don't need to weigh in and then all of a sudden everything in my closet has shrunk. LOl

    Goal Weight: 150 (Hit November 8th, 2019)
    Maintenance weight range: 147 - 153

Average weight recorded for September: 160.1
Average weight recorded for October: 154.0
Average weight recorded for November: 149.2
Average weight recorded for December: 146.4

    January 5th: 146.4(Trend Weight:146.6)
    January 12th: 145.5(Trend Weight:145.9)
    January 19th: 145.1(Trend Weight:145.4)
    January 26th:

Successes: Had 2 or 3 days this week where I reached maintenance calories.

Struggles: Weird thing happened today. I got up at 5am, peed and weighed, scale read 146.2. I like 'huh, I barely averaged 1600 calories a day this week.'. Went back to sleep, got up at 8:32, peed and weighed, scale read 145.1. How in the heck could I lose almost a pound in 3.5hrs of sleep? Scales are strange. No wonder people trying to lose weight lose their minds about scale fluctuations. Oh well, life was pretty normal and boring this week.

    Hope everyone is doing great!

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: I keep learning the lesson that I really can’t keep chocolate in my house. I received a small box of chocolates 2 weeks ago and decided to throw it in the freezer so I wouldn’t eat it all. Mid-week I was tired and ate all the chocolates instead of dinner. :( I felt awful physically that night and the next morning. I guess the good news is that I ate well the rest of the week. Still exercising daily and focusing on good sleep. Happy to see my weight is not up this week. Went dancing last night and had a great time!

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week:I am shocked that I lost this week. It has been a rough week with family drama and I found myself back to putting food in my mouth to cope. I did get myself back in the game after 2 days of eating like that. I'm back at the top end of my maintenance range. Need to loose 2-3 more pounds to get back to where I was before the holidays. This is my 4th year anniversary of the beginning of my weight lost journey I thought I had a handle on it. I see I must always be on guard so easily to slip back to old habits. Have a good week.

Is it possible that you ARE on guard more than you realize? If you had family drama, and you FOUND yourself leaning on food for comfort, that is HUGE. YOU NOTICED IT. So that by itself is great because it takes away some of the food's power. What's better even is that you also ACTED when you noticed, got back on track and.... See how four years of practice can make us a little better? In another few years, maybe you'll be bulletproof. If not, you can keep trying. Very nice!
