02/17 - 218.2lbs - mediocre day; didn’t feel well because getting over a bad cold
02/18- 217.6 - mediocre day again; not getting the most fulfilling food because I haven’t cooked a lot but hitting calorie goal because I am sick and not hungry! Starting to feel better 🤞
02/19 - 217.6 - still no exercise but took a to-go box home from a work lunch and didn’t hugely over eat! Great win for today! I haven’t been sleeping well so that’s the goal for the rest of this week
02/20 - 217.8- first day back in the gym in 2 weeks and it was rough. I did not eat well at all, so happy to stay about the same. I’ll be out of town this weekend, so need to focus on maintenance

02/22 - 146.2 - Apparently I like bouncing between these two numbers a lot! Neighbor (who has been playing mommy) took me out to dinner last night so I know the bump up was from that. I broke my fast early with a fairly large meal (for me) and I'm glad I did, since dinner was the next opportunity to eat. Also had my water bottle full of coffee (since it can be sealed to go in a backpack unlike my coffee mugs) was all I had until about 530... Was stuck in doc's office and no water ): Swelling has gone down, as has bruising (still there, just not as bright/puffy). Haven't really been in pain except occasional random throbbing pain that lasts a few seconds and is gone. Or if I hit it/put any kind of weight on it (if I lose balance I have put my toes down to help regain). Nothing intolerable, just uncomfortable pain. I'm thankful it happened to the leg that I have numbness in from my back because I imagine that's what has been keeping me from feeling the worst of it. I only have 800mg ibuprofen for pain/swelling (I don't need for pain, but take for swelling because I want this to be OVER). Mama taking me to run my errands today since she doesn't want me going it alone. I can, but I appreciate having the company and someone there to help with the more complicated tasks. I am super sad about missing out on yoga, though. And going on walks since this weekend is super nice for February in Kansas.

Previous Day's Comments02/17 - The downward trend from last round continues after resuming full meals. I'll take this slower, but healthier, downward movement very happily. I'm coming down to the last 7-8lbs and I know I have to be careful to lose fat, not muscle. Only workout I did this weekend was cleaning/packing/organizing so not much at all. Depending on how my days go, I'll try to get in the little gym here at work (though timing will be hard as maintenance works the same hours and its always crowded before/after work. Maybe an alternate lunch time to everyone else?)
02/18 - Had a late dinner as I was out running errands with my neighbor lady. Other neighbor made a pot roast and it was a little high in sodium due to the tenderizing method he used. Traveling to KCMO today for work so water will probably not be the greatest but I will do my best. Not very many options to stop to go between KCMO and home so I have to time it right. Will catch up on posts tonight or tomorrow morning!
02/19 - I chuuuuugged water last night to try to get a little closer to water goals. I didn't have much at all (maybe 25-30oz total). Today I'm back at my normal work location and I have to give blood at 10. Hopefully my iron is okay. I had steak last night but I'll have to break my fast early and have some thing here in a short bit to be sure I'm good to go. Anyway, water is going to be super important today between dehydration yesterday and giving blood today. I drank some ginger-lemon tea and added some cinnamon to help with the bloat. I'm going to try to do this more often as it really helped this morning. I FEEL a little bloated, but I don't look it so much which was a boost I needed this morning. Yesterday's lunch was really heavy on me and left me feeling and looking super bloated. Work has a new wellness challenge for the next 4 weeks that started Monday. 1 point for each accomplishment: 5 servings fruit/veg, 7+hours sleep, 20+ min exercise, 10+ min relaxation. Anybody who has 20+ points at the end of the week (submit info Monday) is entered to win a fitbit (2 people drawn per week). So I had double side salad and double fruit salad with lunch on top of the chicken. It was a lot of food for one sitting but I know the fruit and salad weren't high in cals, the chicken was (Chik-fil-a strips, no sauce) and a cookie, of course. No self control there... Then last night my steak was with a side of grilled mini sweet peppers. I'm going for 3-4 servings veg and 1-2 servings fruit if I can. Don't know how I'll manage today... Don't have too many options to bring to work and don't want to go grocery shopping when I have so much food to eat or give away before moving. Did double yoga - easy YWA one for back pain last night I consider "relaxation" and another YWA for "Yoga Belly" which was a little more intense and got my heart rate up as "exercise"
02/20 - Bouncy, bouncy. The food truck was here yesterday -- they've been broken down and unable to come out for several months. Its a local classic so getting a burger was a MUST before I leave (never had one before). Drank a TON of water yesterday. Went over my goal, just didn't drink a lot the couple hours before bed. Super thirsty this morning so more chugging away! Yesterday I didn't have coffee and instead drank my ginger lemon tea. I think I might do that today. Seems to be helping (even if its just mentally) with feeling super bloated (and boy do I today despite 3 cups of the stuff yesterday!) Hit all my Wellness Challenge goals except fruit/veg. I had a cup of juice after blood donation (100% pure and 6oz qualifies as a serving). Other than that, I fell off. Tonight, since I'll be home and not running around like crazy, I'll try to make some of my frozen veggies so they're easier access when I'm being lazy. They need to get eaten in the next 3 weeks anyway...
02/21 - So I fell yesterday. Rolled my ankle under me and fell on top of it. Its the same ankle I tore tendons and ligaments in almost 8 years ago and still have instability in it. Also the leg with the numbness from my back injury -- recipe for disaster. It just gave out, walking on an even surface in the hallway. Unfortunately I hit the wall and slid straight down instead of falling sideways. I might not have done so much damage if I was able to fall sideways. Neighbor took me to urgent care. Not likely broken, but couldn't rule out fracture. They didn't have xray on site (who has an urgent care open until 7 and sends the xray tech home at 6?!) so I have to go back for xrays today. Neighbor had an orthopedic brace and crutches so she loaned them to me when she took me to urgent care last night. Couldn't cancel my tax appt so still have to hobble into that, too. At least I know how to get up and down stairs from experience. And I'm pretty dang solid on crutches even after all these years. Food will be interesting as now cooking is kinda out of the question. At least I have leftover homemade stir fry from last night for at least one meal today.

2/17: 145.8 (0) No change from yesterday, which is a win. I was able to get in a big run, with lots of walking and stretching to keep the hip happy. Then we went to Korean Food with friends in town – no idea what we were eating with all the sauces, rice, etc. Sodium had to be off the charts. I assume it will rear its ugly little head tomorrow. 😆But it was fun to see them😎
2/18: 145.4 (-.4) Went to slow flow yoga and then walked with a friend for 3.75 miles. I was sore and tired last night – not sure why. I ate well, tried to work on protein intake and getting enough fiber but my challenge is getting fiber without wrecking my carbs. I am not winning the macro thing!😝
2/19: 145.2 (-.2) Got a run in which felt pretty good. Really pushed the protein today so I hit that macro but of course, went over on the carbs. I have a sweet tooth – either I get it from blueberries or chocolate. Either way, my carbs go up. 🤩
2/20: 145.8 (+.6) I am blaming the Democratic Debate on driving me to drink last night. That was WWF match at its finest! Anyway, today was a run day on the treadmill….I wasn’t motivated but got it done!
2/21:144.8 (-1.0) Due to schedule, did not get all my calories yesterday. Ate later than planned and it was so salty – Amy’s soups are good but too salty. My bad. Glad for a loss but this will not stand as today is the first day in a long time that I cannot workout as I am driving to Houston and back.✌
2/22:144.0 (-.8) What goes down must go up! I will pay for yesterday, tomorrow! Drove to Houston with college daughter, just to keep her company so she could prep on the way for an interview. (I swear I am not a helicopter mom – it’s a 3 hour drive and and she had a 4 hour interview and then a 3 hour drive home – and sleepless college kids – not a good combo IMHO). And the bonus – I got to hang with her which I don’t get to very often even though she goes to college 10 miles away. Anyway, didn’t get to exercise other than walking the outlet mall and the worst part, we stopped at Buc-Cees on the way home! For those of you who don’t know about Buc-Cees – it’s a massive TX-sized “minimart” with all kinds of treats, junk food, etc. I ate a bag of Snappers minis – so good and yet so bad. Then pizza for dinner.😈😈😈😈😈

2/19 – 257.8 I honestly don’t know and it’s a little frustrating. I’m just going to stay on track and hope for the best. Though I am considering getting into a fitness routine verses the whatever, whenever I’ve been doing for a while. I’m also considering a new meal plan, if I can get my diary to work to see how the calories work out. It’s not too different from what I do now, but adds in more fruits and vegetables, the later of which is often lacking for me.
2/20 – 257.4 After arriving late last month tom has decided to arrive early this month. At least I finally know what’s been causing the stall. At least I hope that’s it. As tom progresses and goes I hope to see new lows.
2/21 – 256.2 Back in the right direction.
2/22 – 254.4 I went out to lunch with my husband yesterday but stayed well within my calories and plan. Since I was driving around a bit to get errands done, I got an activity rest day that was needed.

02/21 199.4 yay! Told myself not to weigh for 72 hours to wash any sodium out but I felt slimmer and couldn’t resist. Nearly 3 pound loss, very happy that my focus on habits (track, exercise, journal, sleep 6+ hours) paid off.
02/22 197.2 🥳🥳🥳 Not only did I lose another 2 pounds, I passed my first goal weight!!! I know this dip won’t stay—yesterday my stomach hurt so I didn’t eat a lot. I’m sure I’ll go up tomorrow (more likely Monday because I won’t weigh in tomorrow if we overnight at the boat). But yesterday I hadn’t really processed that I had crossed the 200 mark...and today it was a big pause for me to realize I need a new goal!

I LOVE that place. It's so good and so bad, just like you said. I'll be glad once I move it'll still be a little too far out of the way to go regularly. It is a dangerous place for me (but 2 weeks from today I get to introduce the kids to Buc-ees for the first time! It's the perfect stop on the way down to BF's and we stop every time)4 -

02/17: 128.0 - TOM gave me a little jump at the end of last round after trending at 127.4 for a week. Tis fine, will come back down. Great but quick arm workout this morning with hubby before he had to head to work. It's a gorgeous day, the sun is shining. All my peeps are playing pickleball but I have to stay strong, resist and stick to my rehab schedule of playing no more than every other day. Enjoy your day, everyone!
02/18: 127.2 lbs - Back down. Did not hit my protein macro yesterday but came close. Still way better than I used to be a couple months ago. Leg workout this morning followed by an hour of pickleball, feeling good. Did my elbow p/t last night before bed, some of the exercises are getting easier and some of them are not. Tendon healing takes forever (and ever and ever). Taking my 16 yr old son to get his drivers license this afternoon, exciting and terrifying!
02/19: DNW, too cold to undress. But it's gorgeous outside, going to go play in the sun for an hour and then get some work done. Hit my protein macro yesterday and felt quite exhausted from the grueling leg workout in the morning. Going to enjoy this "day off" from the gym. BTW, my son passed the driving test, he could actually be driving around all by himself, eek!
02/20: 127.2 lbs - hit protein macro yesterday, got in an hour or so of cardio, ate below calories and did elbow p/t. Arm workout this morning followed by another hour or so of Pickleball. Need to pace myself - my arm is starting to feel a little better and I’ll overdo it if I’m not careful.
02/21: 127.8 lbs - really sore and tired from many days of working out hard, thinking that's why the little bump up. Taking a much needed rest day. Hit protein macro yesterday, stayed under calorie goal. Another gorgeous day here, us PNWers do enjoy the rare winter sunshine.

02/18 - 143 Yesterday I just ate...all the chocolate. I'm back to being good today. I was just irritated at that 142 and belatedly realized it might have been DOMS as much as anything. Hoping to see some better results this round. But I did not start well!

Last round was pretty successful by getting into the 170’s for the first time in 2020. My lowest weight was in October of 2019 at 176, so I hope to get close to that by Friday. This round, I have my birthday mixed in, which comes with tons of celebrations. I’m hoping not to gain too much!

02/17: 182.4 (I saved all my calories for a party, but I didn’t end up going since I had a lot of stuff to do around the house. So instead, I ate those calories at home! I knew this would happen so I’m not too worried about it. I did a Zumba workout at home yesterday!)
02/18: 181.2 (I had the day off from work yesterday because of the holiday! I cleaned my house and had to get a plumber in to fix my drain in the tub. Other than that I had a normal day! I ate to plan and did my Zumba class at the gym!)
02/19: My birthday! ❤️ 181.2 (boo I maintained! I ate to plan and did a 1 hour kickboxing class at the gym. I know this is because I’m ovulating any day now. I usually gain this week as well as TOM week. Anyway, I’m so happy I get to celebrate tonight with my hubby! I’m making dinner though lol gotta make my Friday weigh in!)
02/20: 181.2 (When my weight is the same like this, I know I’m ovulating. So yes I maintain the weight while doing all the right things. Yesterday I ate well for my bday! The hubby surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries and I made one small one fit into plan. Thanks to all those who wished me a happy bday! On to the next day!)
02/21: 180.4 (I’ve gained 0.6 pounds since last Friday’s official weigh in, but there’s nothing you can do about it when you’re a woman! I had no energy when I got off work yesterday and thankfully I had food cooking in the crockpot all day. I ate to plan and made it a rest day since my body was craving it. I’ll move my workout day to Saturday to compensate. Happy Friday everyone!)
02/22: 182.6 (Yesterday, I had my best friend come over on my off Friday and we watched movies, ate popcorn and pizza and our husbands came over after for a fun game night to celebrate my birthday. It was everything I wanted to do this year! No workout of course, unless you count my hand going from the popcorn bowl to my mouth 😂 I needed a day like that. It’s been a very long time.)

02/17 …..194.8 ….. Travel today. Yesterday I tweaked my goals on MFP to better reflect what I am trying to do at this point. I cleaned tourist cabins. I walked for 31 minutes. I also did a dance session with my son (yay Johnny!) for 27 minutes. Sample song “smooth” by Carlos Santana. My eating was reasonable until night time during TV when I began snacking when I wasn’t even hungry. Not good. I am still a work in progress. Travel today will be a brick wall but it’s a new round. We shall see what happens. Good luck everyone!

02/19 …..196.0 ….. I’ve been locked out of MFP all day. So frustrating! Yesterday my diet went better. Exercise was good with over 20,000 steps. I burned 850 extra calories through deliberate planning & movement. IF 14:10. However, I only slept 3.5 hours and woke up so tired. I am studying my past logging and journaling to help assist going forward.
02/20 …..195.4 ….. A very good day yesterday. I had my carbs at 8 net carbs late last night when I began to experience a slo-mo sugar drop. Because it wasn’t quick, I was able to keep it under control by adding more carbs. I brought the Calories to 1203 and the carbs to 32 Net Carbs and felt much better within minutes. Calories Out: 2581. 15,367 Total Steps & 6.5 Miles. I slept 5 hours & 36 minutes and felt refreshed. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. IF 14:8. I walked at the school for 85 minutes burning 551 calories. I had my grandsons over after school for a “breakfast for dinner”. I made thick slabs of French Toast and maple sausage patties. I was strong and had an omelet with some of the sausage for my own dinner. I had a very very hard time eating the omelet. I am so sick of eggs that it was gagging me but I stayed strong because I hadn’t planned anything else. I was repaid for my persistence by a very kind bathroom scale.
02/21 …..195.1 ….. Another small loss on the scale after another good day. I pre-logged my food but fell asleep early and had to remove items this morning from yesterday. I spent the late afternoon walking at the school and the evening prepping low-carb recipes. Yesterday’s stats: 897 Calories In / 2497 Calories Out. 24 Net Carbs of friendly veggies. 14,470 Total Steps & 6.12 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps Hours. I slept 4 hours & 46 minutes, falling asleep early but waking up early. I awoke refreshed. I walked for 84 minutes at the school burning 475 calories. I forgot to check my glucose yesterday morning, but no sugar drops last night. Feeling strong.
02/22 …..195.0 ….. I need more water for sure. Walked at the school yesterday alone but I feel every single tinge of pain when I’m alone, and it seems to take so long so I cut short my walk a bit but still got in about 3 miles. I’ve even tried music and podcasts but it hasn’t helped. Some walking days are better than others. Another good day on plan with my diet. I balanced some low carb with low calorie and I did not experience a glucose drop (Yay!). Slowly I’m getting the right formula although how much I exercise does play into the formula. Yesterday’s stats: 1262 Calories In / 2763 Calories Out. 30 Net Carbs. 16,325 Total Steps & 6.91 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 29 minutes and woke up a bit tired. I burned an additional 449 Calories walking 98 minutes. Happy Saturday Everyone!

Oh the kids will love it! We only go when were driving out of Austin - There is one in Bastrop if you drive east to Houston and several on the way to Dallas. And I am sure heading south to San Antonio. Their candy aisle is awesome and if you are a fan of jerkey, they have it all!!! And cleanish bathrooms😁5 -

Female, 5’, 67 years. SW – 164.4, GW – 163 something, UGW – 140. (This really should be 125 or 130 but that seems like such a long ways to go and 140 would be a huge improvement.) Goals: continue with 12 hr. IF, see if I can complete my tracking every day and get to the gym 3x a week and not eat back the cals. Getting some exercise the non-gym days would be a great bonus.

02/18 – 165 – Finished supper at 10:30 because I had to run off to an early practise and then at a few nuts as well – but did stop before it got to be a lot. No gym but did TSP ½ the master bedroom in prep for painting. Arms are sore as anything today. I so need to learn more moderation. I really want to get that bedroom done but if I push it too hard will have major carpal tunnel flare up. On the other hand, if I just leave it “for a while” that could stretch into weeks living with my dresser in the entryway, etc. Maybe I should make a ‘temperate’ list …

02/20 – 164.4 – Made it to the gym yesterday and felt great while there but later not so good. Feel like I’m fighting a sinus infection.
02/21 – 164 – I think … I am in the midst of painting the bedroom. Usually my scale sits in exactly the same spot but now with almost everything but the bed cleared out that spot is not so obvious. Move it a couple of inches over and … viola! I gain 3 lbs. Anyhow, I have found a new spot in front of the closet door and that gives me the same weight as what I get when I put it where I think my old spot was. So going forward I should have some consistency. It does mess with my mind a bit though when I suddenly see 167. Yesterday – IF, no logging, feeling draggy and sore. Today arms are much better.
02/22 – 164.8 or 165 – Today I put some tape on the floor to mark my spot. Also wondering if this is a low battery thing as I saw some crazy numbers when it was just over 1”. IF last night but did eat an extra scone at supper. No gym till I feel back to normal.
