TMI, perhaps, but, ah, something between my boyfriend and I that didn't work out well before due to the way I carry my weight apparently works just fine now. Also, tighter abs make it better.13

I managed high side planks in my yoga practice this morning!! Grantees I still have both feet on the floor rather than stacked on top of each other but at least my legs are both extended instead of planting one foot for support.
I’ve been back in my yoga practice for 3 months working my way through Yoga with Adrienes various 30 day challenges. Difficulty varies from day to day but my goal right now is just to develop the habit and commitment which is going very well.11 -

Wearing the next size down jeans this morning
You remind me that I need to order another pair of the size I'm currently in, because the size above is at the point that it annoyingly bags in the seat and crotch. I'm going to have to give up trying to get any wear about them and offer them on Craigslist or something.
And, of course, order a pair one size down, cause I'm headed that way!

@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 I have been hanging onto my last pair because they are really soft, but when they get to stage that you forget they're actually hight waisted jeans and can pull them up/down without undoing anything like a pair of joggers, it's probably time to let them go!
I have a mini goal of only having a tiny capsule wardobe of clothes that fit left when this quarantine is over, but I may run into a problem with underwear falling down before that happens!6 -

I only just finished a few months ago. Don't get me wrong, I like my career as a corrections officer. I could live with it if I was working in this profession for the rest of my life.
But, that's the thing... I don't want to just pick something I can live with. I want to chase something I have a true passion for. My criminal justice degree was a panic decision. I felt backed into a corner so I just jumped into something. It was never my dream.
I guess expecting a baby has really put things into perspective for me. How can I tell my child that s/he can be anything they want and to chase their dreams if I'm too afraid to chase my own?
So, likely next spring or fall, I will be starting Pre-Veterinary. I've let the anxiety that I won't be able to handle performing surgeries hold me back, but I'm not letting that stop me anymore. I'm so thankful that I have a supportive partner that is pushing me, also.
Not sure what your anxiety stemmed from by my daughter had anxiety over doing anything where a life was in her hands. First she looked in to EMT work, then her love for animals made her look into animal care. But she again was concerned with the what ifs. I told her she had to look at it differently, what if she didn't. How many animals may suffer because she wasn't there for them? Plus there are other avenues for pet care. So she is finally looking at vet-tech schools and has been working with animals at a pet hotel service. And is truly enjoying it.
I guess I said all that to say this, never focus on the negative always focus on the positive.
I wish you all the best.
I did a preceptorship at a vet clinic, and assisted a spay surgery. I got super lightheaded and had to sit down and ever since then, I've been afraid I won't be able to do it. It's not so much the anxiety of having a life in my hands, more so I'm just not sure if I can handle the gory aspect of it.
It's weird though, I wasn't grossed out or anything. I was fascinated. I just found myself on the floor. I was reassured that for most people entering the field, the first couple surgeries they witness go like that, but it just added a lot of self doubt.
This almost happened to me when I was in school and job shadowing a local vet. Had nothing to do with what I was seeing, and everything to do with the fact that I was standing too still and controlling my breathing too well. Loss of proper blood circulation to the brain and you can pass out from it. I've seen it happen to cadets and soldiers as well when they stand too long. Something about don't lock your knees, heh.
Could that be what happened to you?
Very well could be! My husband is always scolding me for locking my knees. It's just a habit and the way that I stand. It's never caused me to pass out, though. That would be the first and only time, if that was the cause.1 -
Definitely have to do something about this mirror, but as the scale goes up during isolation, somehow managed to drop a hoodie size (women's medium) and a jean size (women's us 12). Will take it, crumbum mirror and all!17 -
My average running pace is 10-11 minutes per mile. Yesterday I ran my fastest ever 5k, with the pace of 9:37! It's my first ever 5k in under 30 minutes!
It's an even bigger NSV because I'm 5 months pregnant. I'm really struggling with body image right now and trying to remind myself that it's okay for the scale to go up, that it's healthy and for the good of my baby that the scale goes up, so this was a nice thing to focus on.26 -
I've broken the hold bread/rolls/bready type things had on me (once again) and I'm feeling 'lighter' in my abdomen and it feels so much better.17

I was doing jumping jacks yesterday and not only did my shorts fall right off and hit the floor, so did my UNDERWEAR. pfftttt
I can't wait to go thrift store shopping when it's safe outside and actually be able to wear clothes I can move around in.26 -
Went for pizza, ate half and brought the rest home. That’s the second time I’ve managed to eat pizza until I was full instead of until it was finished!!
I also walked there and back in order to avoid using public transportation - 18K steps. Pretty good day so far.21 -
Packing up the size 20 jeans I started in was a definite NSV.
Packing up the size 18 jeans I bought because I thought I'd be in them for a while is a bigger NSV!
I'm buying only two pairs of jeans from here on out til I settle into a final size. I don't like wasting my money.19 -
Staying home has been really challenging, but we bought a stationary bike to use for workouts and I have been logging daily to keep an eye on what I'm eating, which is a success in and of itself!16

This NSV is about 3 weeks old but....my under armor exercise pants (which are stretchy) keep falling down while I exercise and they’re the only ones I have. I just need a store to shop in so I can buy new ones.10

My NSV is that I've been working out at home. I find it much, much easier to go to an actual gym. Once I'm at the gym I just get down to business. Home is full of distractions, so in a way I'm more proud of myself for getting the workout done at home than I would be had I gone to the gym.20

My husband ser out a Reese’s egg for each of us after dinner. I put mine back.20

Since hitting maintenance over a year ago I have been putting in some junk food and it still amazes me I can keep my weight down if I have little bits of junk food, how exciting. I dont feel so deprived.25
