    8 AF days/10 days done.....

@whitpauly: I sure hope by June they allow hair salons to re-open and just provide masks/face shields and control spacing in the waiting area. I need a cut, color, and everything in between badly...

@Doxmum: I will happily be your first tourist back at Glacier when it all re-opens & help jump start the local economy...!

We are in the same neck of the woods, I am about 45 minutes from the Montana/Canada Border and about 35 minutes to the Idaho border. My best friend lives in Idaho, but of course with the borders closed I won't be to either Idaho or Montana any time soon.
You are in a beautiful spot.
Life will definitely look very different after all of this is said and done, but we are still climbing and a long way from the peak yet.
It is eerie, trying to look at the positive aspect such as less pollution to the planet, learning to slow back down, and seeing how globally we are more connected than we thought that we were.

As usual, I am going to try for 16-20 AF days for the month.
I had 18AF days for January
I had a surprising (and record setting for me) 21AF days for the short month of February!
    18AF days for March
    Onward to April : - )

    Wednesday April 01 - AF
Thursday April 02 - AF - Felt like having drinks, but really determined to get back to at least 2AF days in between.
Friday April 03 - AF because I have a webinar in the morning that I want to be sharp for. Planned wine with a friend for her birthday - yes, we will stay 2 metres apart and likely outside.
    Saturday April 04 - Drinks
    Sunday April 05 - AF
    Monday April 06 - AF
Tuesday April 07 - AF - My Tuesdays have changed, no longer working my tail off and stressed out for the first Tuesday "off". Normally my drinks day. I am really battling to get off the March weight gain, and I know that being more AF helps.
    Wednesday April 08 - 3 drinks
Thursday April 09 - AF - I need to be AF again tomorrow so as to have at least 2AF days in between. It has been warm and beautiful here, but it is supposed to drop drastically for a week starting Saturday with more snow. I have done work in the garden hoping to get planting soon, but apparently I need to wait.
Friday April 10 - 3 drinks, broke my own rule of always 2AF days in a row. Just didn't have the willpower today I guess.
    Saturday April 11 - AF

8AF days out of 11 days so far

Check-in day 4 (I think): wine X3. Much improved over last night. Probably because of the yoga & meditation I did today.

@MissMay: I totally get the weather thing. If I can't ski (even bad weather skiing), I'm sulking. It was gorgeous yesterday! Temp 60F, clear skies. Temp dropped 30F overnight. I'm DONE with winter - until next year :)
@globalhiker: You are welcome anytime! We're used to having friends, friends of friends, and my "cousin's cousin" passing through. Our place has plenty of room.
@dawnbgethealthy: are you in Creston BC? My husband was born and raised in Lethbridge, AB. Two step-daughters, SILs, and 4 oldest grandkids live in L-town. Unfortunately, we have a closed international border between us now :'(

Living in Las Vegas you can imagine what it's like here, a city that's usually hustling and bustling with people is a ghost town, I don't know how these huge casinos are gonna recover after all this, all that lost revenue and we don't even know for sure how long this is gonna go on, I don't know if the older man who owns the salon I worked at can even afford to open up again, he was struggling for money before this happened so who knows what will be, I'm sad over this and I have a bad attitude that I can't shake yet there's nothing I can do about it, 5:34 am in Vegas another 24 😢

💓 It breaks my heart to see the photos of Vegas during this crisis @whitpauly. We had been making plans to revisit Vegas this month for our anniversary because we were married there. I loved the hustle and bustle of Vegas. Maybe you can collect your clients and do hair door to door when this clears.

@Womona That looks delish! I'm breaking it apart and smooshing butter all over it in my head.

Wait a minute...who is this new hot red head that is posting? LISA! Your coloring my hair next. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

@MissMay You're cracking me up--this is not exactly the color I was going for, but thanks, and you know I'm less than 2 hours away...someday.

Man oh man, People. I'm wanting a bottle of wine like no one's business (I think I mixed similes there). I just want to plop on the sofa starting around noon and drink and watch mindless T.V. Which I know would lead to (well, getting fired if I made it a habit), and mindless eating and probably another bottle and then a horrific hangover. Kinda helps to write out the entire sequence of events, but I still WANT IT, dammit!

@mainelylisa hang in there! Some days are so much harder than others, and it’s normal to grieve for our old lives back. I’ve been there and totally understand.

We had the same nasty weather today. Good day to nap and make split pea soup. 7/12 AF days for me.

@forestdweller1 are you serious?????? NJ locked down faster and harder (but later) than the Philly area, but liquor stores are still open. So of course that’s where we go to resupply. I’m sure the border liquor stores will be screaming - PA residents are probably 75% of their business!
