Since hitting maintenance over a year ago I have been putting in some junk food and it still amazes me I can keep my weight down if I have little bits of junk food, how exciting. I dont feel so deprived.25

My wedding band is loose so my wife got me a groove ring because i can Lift with it.
I am now in size 36-38 pants and I cannot remember when that last was. My mother said it's probably been since junior high..wow!
I am now wearing my fitbit 2 notches tighter. This was a bit of an eye opener for me.
My mom cried when she saw me (it was 12 weeks) because I look even more like my father who passed away many years ago. It was pretty emotional for us. My grandmother (father's side) was stunned when i walked in during the holidays.30 -
I haven't worn casual shorts since October. We finally had a nice warm day and I finally decided to put on something besides fitness wear. Every pair of regular shorts I own are way too big. Needed a belt to hold them up. Guess I will be doing some online shopping one of these days....let's hope I can maintain it in "these challenging times"!20

Sooooooooooo many these days...so many!
1.) I'm super rolling with the traumatic and life altering punches of all the "mess" the world and our country has us locked down in/under with the dreaded pandemic, rolling with joy and hope come what may.
2.) I let my beloved husband cut my hair into a super ultra short pixie--way shorter than I originally had it professionally cut and it looks ultra FABULOUS, I love it--it's soooo cute and EASY to maintain!!!!!! I LOVE my husband and he was so nervous to cut it and did such a professional and utterly smashing job--WOW!
3.) With all this time in the lock-down, I've been spending even more time with/in The Lord and His Word, His Way, His Truth and His Life and just giving myself (my eyes, ears and thoughts over to truth and goodness things) and it's keeping my heart and mind encouraged, strengthened and filled with power, light and life (instead of depression, fear and yuck).
4.) I purchased a pair of jeans online that were a size 4 (by accident--I thought they were a bigger size AND I kept them instead of sending them back because they're SUPER CUTE and to use as a hopeful "maybe one day I will be able to fit them" thing) and I couldn't even get my leg into 6-7 months ago, I can now ALMOST button them up--not quite, but it's soooo amazing that I almost can fit into a size 4 (from a previous high of size 22w)!!!
5.) Several of my children have been given promotions and/or new/better job opportunities in the midst of this scary messy pandemic...just miraculous!
6.) I am loved and love loving...even in the midst of all of this WOE, stress and mess--it's utterly wonderful how love, love for God, myself and my neighbors (people) colors my thoughts, actions and deeds. I love LOVE more and more each day!!!!!26 -
As with some others, my leggings fall down during my runs 😉🙄🏃♀️18

There's a carrot cake on the counter with cream cheese icing and I'd rather have a cheese stick and go to bed.21

Made a pan of brownies 10 to 12 days ago. My husband and I each ate some, but they went stale and the end of the pan was thrown away tonight. I typically have zero control around sweets... how did I become a person with brownies sitting on the counter until they went stale?27

Again with me and my old fat clothes... On a lark last night, I tried to pull my blue jeans off without opening the button or zipper, and was shocked when I succeeded so easily. My belt is doing yeoman's work these days!
I really need to go shopping for new clothes!

Bought a pair of size 34 blue jeans today. Haven't worn that size since playing football in my sophomore year in high school, 45 years ago.26

Discovered today that I can actually cycle up those ridiculously steep hills I used to cycle up before I was hit by a speeding, drunk driver (who still hasn't been to court after two adjournments, and won't be going any time soon).
I was much slower and felt the struggle much more than I did twelve months ago but it's reassuring that I can do it.
Not sure if it's just down to my reduced fitness levels or a combination of reduced fitness and the fact that I don't have the same relationship with my new bike as I did the old one
DH dismantled my old bike last week to see if it could be repaired. He didn't give any clue as to whether or not it could be fixed so either a) it can't be fixed or b) he's planning a lovely surprise.
Whilst hoping for the latter, I strongly suspect the former will be the end result.28 -

I was able to stick with my calorie goal yesterday despite a minor (but initially quite painful) knee injury. I didn't need to comfort eat, I did other things to comfort myself.16

I rode my bike with my 4 year old son in his trailer up the dreaded hill of doom that I usually get off and walk half way up. 🚴♀️ peddle power!! 😁19

I looked myself in the mirror today and for the first time in my life I said to myself “you don’t look fat anymore”41

Almost two years ago I bought some new smart work wear, fitted shirts and dresses etc. Most of it fitted great apart from these 2 shirts and I’m crap at returning internet bought clothes. These 2 shirts now fit great!22

I woke up this morning and actually felt lighter! Felt it in my feet as I was walking down the hall.31

I'm almost at the end of week 4. I noticed this week that I'm standing up from chairs without using the chair arms or adjacent table for support ... just standing up.37

I was wearing my wedding ring on my right hand because my left hand had swollen so bad. My ring is back on my left hand and fitting comfortably.19

Finally decided to get myself together after some quarantine blah. Had a stressful day and instead of pouring a glass of wine and eating Easter candy, I went out to the garage to lift. When my husband came home I got dinner out for him and the kids and left for a run. All told, I ran 4 miles, walked for 80 minutes, and lifted today. Stress busted.27

Craving something sweet after lunch as usual. So I told myself I could eat it after 20 minutes. When the timer went off, the craving was gone because my stomach felt satisfied. I guess the science is true for me, it does take 20 minutes for my stomach to tell my brain it's satisfied.
Also, 3 days successfully reacclimatizing my tastebuds from refined white sugar to fruits.16
