Kitchen fatigue day so the hubby put together dinner. Warmed up some batch cooked meatloaf and made salad from a bag of pre washed greens and
ranch we always have in the fridge. Mash was made from scratch. Starter of avocado vinaigrette. We keep home made vinaigrette in the fridge too.

@acpgee - Curious about your food background. Do you/did you work in the industry or are you an impassioned foodie? 😉
I am not an industry professional. I am a mathematician by trade but working in banking. However I did learn professional knife skills from the first boyfriend I lived with who was a chef at the Hilton. He was pretty junior in the kitchen so his job was essentially being a glorified food processor. So at home he liked to play head chef while I did all the chopping and prep. The most useful thing I got out of that relationship were the professional knife skills. I am still crap at quenelling.
I blame my foodie obsession on not being allowed to eat between the ages of 18 and 25 when I was working as a fashion model.7
