Hi! I just started MFP last Wed and I've lost 3.2 in just half-a-week! I was doing so well maintaining for years but the last few yrs my weight kept creeping up up and away! My normal bag of tricks are no longer working?!? I'm 56, have not gone through menopause yet. :( So here I am! I want to lose 10 lbs, my goal 145. :)

Okay, so I went the wrong way a little bit. Yesterday was mother's day and we had Mexican food for dinner. I may have had some chips and salsa at 9:30pm. Anyways, a few days ago I mentioned walking on the treadmill or doing workout videos and last night I found some that I think I'm going to really like. They have a 2 week regimen that I'm going to force myself to stick with. They also have meal plans too.....and it looks like it's free. Now, I'm not going to do their meal plan, but I am going to stick to my calorie goals and drink my water.

This morning I got myself up and did the 30minute workout, so I'm proud of myself!
Hoping to see the scale move here in a few days!

Hi Possible, where can i find the 2 week exercise and meal plan regimen?

Welcome to the group! You are doing awesome! Keep up the good work. My goal is also 145 by the end of June. I’ve lost 6 lbs in two weeks. I am happy that we have this group which is giving me a lot a motivation!😊💪

    The website is www.teambodyproject.com.
I just happened to come across them last night. I think they have some paid for stuff, but I haven't paid anything. Not even asked for a credit card

I love sleeping! I thought that when you get older, you wake up earlier. That does not happen to me. 😊

Hello...same here...but in the bad I tried to be good! Did not go on the scale yet, fantastic TOM is here so I know that I am not at my best! However...loosing one pound in the next week would be great so I am working on it! Have a great day everybody, have to tell myself this is a marathon and not a sprint and got to start to like myself a bit more!!!!!!

Hello lovlies!!! Well, yesterday was another bust for me.... whoops. I did so well until the evening. My 3 year old was driving me up a wall, so I gave in and had 2 drinks.... which turned into extra snacking... & then not caring about dinner *palm to face* Determined to do better today!! I need to make some progress this month.

You all are doing so great! I love seeing your posts and support in this group!!! So motivating :)

@18922 if you click the little star just above the page numbers at the top of the page, it will save it for you. When people post in this forum it will be posted in the little bell just above it- and you can also find it by clicking the star that is next to the bell :)

Hi! Staying in my calorie range! Yay!
Had to finagle food around on Mothers Day to allow for 2 Jim Beam/diet Coke drinks (1 oz Jim Beam 64 calories!) but I did it! No weight gain Monday morning! (It helped that my son & his GF had us over and cooked very healthy to support my goal!) :)

Also have been doing a 40 min youtube workout 5x a week :)
M-upper body weight wo, T-lower body weight wo, W-some sort of cardio wo, T-yoga/pilates, F-total body cardio/weight wo

May 6th - 158.2 Decided to try MFP!
    7th - 157.6
    8th - 157.2
    9th - 155.6
    10th- 155.4
11th - 155.4 No period in Apr, was hoping I was on my way to menopause (I'm 56) but BAM - got it today :( NOT HAPPY, I've had it since I was 9 years old!
12th - 157.2 Hopefully just from my stupid period!

Hi Britt, I totally understand! I don’t have small children anymore but my 14 and 17 years old daughters (especially my 17 year old) is not taking well staying at home which makes her very moody. She is a graduating senior so she is very upset missing all her senior events. I feel so bad for her. I am an emotional eater so I need to be calmed not to overeat which is challenge. I’ve done well for two weeks because of this group!! We can do this!!😊🌸🌷
