**In the May thread, the very last week and a half, I worked really hard to stay consistent with tracking, excercise and drinking more water but the scale did not show it. I gained 1.8lbs for May but I stayed consistent and desciplined so I can see the results in June. Hoping this is the start ☺️8 -

OK, I'm in. I have got to get serious about the scale, the fit of my clothes, how I feel, etc. etc. etc.
About me: 50. Had breast cancer/lumpectomy/radiation in 2016, still on a hormone blocking medication for another couple years, at minimum. Married, 2 kids at home (23 and 20), 4 furbabies (3 dogs, 1 cat). Working at home, have been working from home since my oldest was born. Preferred exercise is running, but last year, despite training/running two half marathons, I gained weight steadily. This year I'm continuing to gain at a more rapid pace, stopped running in March due to neck pain, was supposed to have neck surgery and 2 days prior Indiana was locked down. Finally had surgery May 7, am released to exercise with no restrictions other than 10 lb limit. I'm not going to resume running for a while, too bouncy, but I am walking with and without the dogs, and started a strength/cardio workout program without weights, through YouTube (Trainer Lindsey's 15 Day Challenge).
Have been on keto a couple years and have consistently gained with it, haven't lost either weight or inches. Tried one-meal-a-day, gained. So now I have no idea what to do as far as food so am going to go with a standard, well-rounded plan: protein, veg, fruit, and limited whole grains and healthy fats. Beats me...this hormone blocker is messing me up...at least that's what I'm blaming it on! I think daily reporting and accountability will be helpful.

Yesterday I woke with a horrible headache and neck pain. Didn't exercise because any movement made me so sick at my stomach. It isn't as bad today so I am going to try to get some movement in today.

Did a 30 minute body weight and jump rope workout today and took a nice long walk in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Food was OK for the day. Tried a new Chobani flavor since I generally enjoy their Greek yogurt--it was chocolate with hazelnut--didn't love it. Thought it would taste more like Nutella--it did not.
