I figured out a work-around for the lat pull downs in my upper body routine: resistance bands and my closet rod. I can either sit or kneel on the floor. 💡

No one can tell me I'm not a resilient genius right now.

I could, but I'd be lying.

I didn't smack my doctor upside the head when she spent 5 minutes telling me how I used to be such a big girl and it's no big deal if I'm overeating due to pain/stress because I'm small now. It wasn't "great, you lost weight" but she even went into my records to remind me I was 195lbs the first time I went to her. WOW, I had no IDEA!

I'm on Day 15 of not lighting up. 😀 Getting terrible sleep, and some pretty heinous nightmares when I do, but HEY... 🥴🤷‍♀️

I said no to Tim Hortons donuts and iced coffee.

I said no to smoking a joint and therefore, avoided eating a bunch of *kitten* I dont need to be eating.

I woke up at 6am, wide awake and full of energy! That never happens so I assume the small changes I’m making are paying off!☺️

I made a commitment to workout everyday in front of the tv instead of plopping down in front of it.

And because someone discredited my progress/efforts and I just continued to encourage theirs when I really wanted to snap back with snarky jabs.

😁thanks. It was my best friend and I know shes feeling discouraged. She normally builds me up. So I let myself process the words and didnt take it to heart. We all have are dark days.
