My birthday in 10 days.. I want to break the 140 by then. This week has been a major yoyo and Im still up 3 pounds from a week ago Thursday.. I was 143.8. Now Im 146.2. Only 10 days till my goal and 6 lbs. This might be too much to ask my body but it wasnt too much a week ago.. I am gaining muscle and started a 48 hr fast yesterday. I'll see how it plays out on Thursday morning to see if I need to make a goal adjustment. I dont mind working hard.. but I fear I need more understanding of the fast and feast thing. I do keto but many days am just not hungry so I don't get my calories in. Im sure my BMR is all over the place. I shall persevere.

Doesn't seem ridiculous to me. Weight loss is like an ultramarathon - at the highest levels, you are primarily competing against yourself. You win by finishing. Even if someone else was faster, hey, you still finished something great. So your goal is totally understandable, and it's going to be great when you achieve it. Besides - I can relate. I see some folks who have a starting weight that's lower than my goal weight, LOL. All the best to you!11 -

Why would a health goal be ridiculous? You can do get to this mini goal and the next one ane next one!...7 -
*I have some jeans and a top hanging on my door I would like to fit into. They both fit but there is some jumping necessary to get the jeans on (I have terrible calves) and then muffin top once they are on. And for the top it is just more snug than it should be (and has been in the past).
*I live in China and most of the people I work with are stuck in the States because the borders are closed to foreigners here. I would like to lose some before they return - which could be anywhere from this month to October or later. For a more definitive goal, I would say I want to lose 5lbs by the end of July. I am 186.5 right now.
Good luck to all of y'all! I love reading this thread and seeing people accomplish their goals!4 -
I want to be ok with how I look on the beach this summer (given that I will go to the beach, not sure yet). Plus I have many clothes waiting for me to lose 7 kg to look good on me. I kind of have a wardrobe for skinnier and one for heavier. I want to use the skinnier one9

In all honesty? Being able to look in the mirror and be proud of the way I look....10

Now I'm wanting those last two pounds till I hit 190 - don't know if I can make it in a week, and not seriously trying, but I'll be curious to see when they do drop off.4

Looking at the news out of China regarding visas I’d say you have plenty of time.

Hang in there you can do it!2 -
30 weeks and 5 days pregnant today.
My mini goal is to continue running and lifting until at least 34 weeks, if my body will allow it. So far, no issues. I do get some pretty funny looks at the gym when I load up the squat rack or head over to the cables. Definitely makes it a bit harder with having social anxiety. But I'm pushing through it. I've managed to maintain what I lifted pre-pregnancy, and its so hard to stop myself from going up weight.
And running, too. I've gone from running 3-5 miles at a time to only 2, and I hate it. Within the next couple weeks I'm more than likely gonna have to drop it down to a mile at a time, and I'm dreading it. When did it become more of a mental battle to slow myself down, than to push myself harder?6 -
I got down below my mini goal last week. I made it below 180 .. 179.6... but i got there. lol Today's check in i am 177. Lost a little more this past week. YAY! so i guess my new mini goal is 169 for weight. as for measurement i will do tomorrow and that is where i am hoping to see the most change. I am learning the scale is not that important when compared to gaining muscle and energy to keep up with my grandkids. .. but i still get excited when that scale goes down. Best wishes to you all. You all are very inspiring. God Bless!!8

Yay mini goals! I have two pairs of pants that are BARELY too small. I anticipate being able to wear them again in a few weeks.
Also my lower back hurts today- I have scoliosis and a stenosis. My mini goal is to do my physical therapy exercises/stretches for the next three days so it feels better. I've been slackin.10 -
So I’ve been unable to break through the 100kg barrier since mid April but I’ve now found a good groove again and have gone to visit family for a month. My goal is to be 96kg by the end of July nad I think I’ve put good strategies in place to achieve it.7

Right now, (I'm 14 days into my weight loss), I just want to get to the zero end of the top slider, on my beam scales! So, my mini goal is currently ... 28 #s!4

Put on 17 kilos after a kidney transplant and i just dont like my body at the moment, The only clothes i feel ok in are baggy ones that hide everything, so really want to just put on some clothes that look good.

I haven't set any goals for myself this time around, I made a year long plan to get to the weight I feel I should always be to make it sustainable for the future, love everyones mini goals tho, so inspiring!6

I want to join marathon after losing weight. I want to feel more confidence.8
-
I want to get the house moving done and settle into a new normal of going to work out every day!7
-
I’d really like to get under 120. It’s only ~5 lbs away, but I’ve been in and around the same weight throughout quarantine and really want to push and start really losing again!5
-
My mini goal is to have abs by November. So close5

I really want to get below 85kg and stay there. I was under 84kg after exercise on Sunday last weekend and again this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday, but back above at 85.3kg again this morning. I know this osciallation is how weightloss works (and it's only a number), but it is really annoying me.5

new mini goal is to get back to walking at least 30 minutes a day. we do a 30 min workout (faster way to fat loss) at lunch with some younger co-worker. these girls keep me laughing and it really has been the best help. But i think i need the extra walking but i am on GA FLA line and it is HOT and sticky and bugs and nats.... and i got to quit using excuses and get it done. lol. Hope your mini goals all come true!!14

I want to be able to do this workout with 10 pound dumb bells and be able to function afterwards:
Squat Press - 10 reps
Bent Over Row - 10 reps
Push Ups - 10 reps
Dead Lift - 10 reps
Renegade Rows - 10 reps
2 minute rest, then repeat for a total of 3 cycles.
3 cycles with weight 3 or 4 times a week is considered beginner level fit for this exercise. 5-7 within 40 minutes is considered advanced.
Right now, with no weights at all, this is taking me 30 minutes and I have to walk at least a half an hour after or I won't be able to move the next day from the lactic acid build up.9 -
Walking 3 miles in an hour.7

Still not below 85 kg (logged in at 85.0 this morning) but suddenly my belt is on the tightest hole. This is the hole I had punched in it when I hit 75kg last time I was losing weight, and I really didn't expect to get to that before getting below 85kg!7

In 3 lbs I will be out of the Obese BMI for my height, and in 6 lbs I will have lost 10% of my body weight. After that I'm going to focus on dress sizes, because while I'm losing weight I'm losing even more in size, and I want to celebrate all my NSVs.11

Motivated to knock off 5-7 pounds before a trip in a few weeks and jump start a large losing goal!6
