My 4th attempt ever at tacos.. don't know why I don't make them more often. They were delicious.

Sorry but it was gone too fast to snap a pic. I ended up using strawberries instead since I had, umm, a grilling oversight with the cherries 😭. A buckwheat pancake was the bowl and the whole thing will now be in heavy rotation on my snack list. Thanks again for sharing your tasty idea! This thread, and all its posters, has always been a great source of inspo.
Shoot! But it sounds like you had something delicious nonetheless! 😋

I want to try crispy artichokes. Looks good2 -
Lockdown rules are easing and restaurants are open again in London. We went for a walk and ended up sharing a cheeseburger and fries as an afternoon snack on a sunny terrace. Consequently not hungry for the dinner we planned to make so we just had some sauteed broccoli in the evening.

patriotic pancakes for the 4th of July (for my love of Americans, not America)
leftover chicken roast blended into a soup with bacon bits on top, because why not? It's July and pouring down rain, I want more comfort food. And fruit salad, because it still is summer.
Green ramen because I can't find my favorite purple noodles anywhere. Green is not as good.
Rice noodles and wilted salad with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil.

Leftover management. Leftovers from Saturday's dinner party wrapped into spring rolls, brushed with oil and air fried. I like to use a samosa or spanakopita shape because it is easier than the traditional spring roll shape. Korean bean sprout namul because unused bean sprouts from Saturday are so perishable.

I love toum but struggle with the huge quantities I need to make if using the food processor. Do you use a food processor or a mortar and pestle? If you use the food processor are you successful with freeziing excess?0 -
It has been crazy busy at work so hubby cooked today. Pan fried sea bream, boiled new potatoes, salad with ranch.

Perfectly done meat is easy to achieve with an instant read meat thermometer. It i a piece of restaurant kit I alwys recommend. Costs around $10, and takes as space to store as fork. There are tables online to map internal temperature to doneness. I use this one for red meat. For pork I go for 65C and chicken 72C;

Vegan.
Not gonna lie. There are two more hot dogs waiting for their turn still on the grill.
What type of vegan dogs do you buy?! They look so good! I've only tried a few brands but thought they were all terrible especially since regular turkey hotdogs are just sooooo great, lol.0 -
Koolrabi fries in Dutch, German Turnip or columbine I believe in English, with broccoli and salsa salad.
