Went wild swimming in Loch Lomond with my friends and son this week. I managed to get into my wetsuit without a major struggle for the first time in 2 years, very happy21

Ran my first 10K since returning to running in April after a 6 year hiatus 😊 07:53 min/km, I’m pleased.17

I went for a walk yesterday evening after dinner, on my own since my husband didn't want to come. I was out for and hour and when I cam back and tracked it I realised i had more than three miles (just over 5km). It was a lovely evening and I really enjoyed it. Oddly and annoyingly the scale was up this morning (I over ate over the weekend), but the walk was good and i shall do it again.18

It doesn't feel like a NSV, but my periods are getting more regular and that's a health improvement.
I'm not sure if it was the excess weight or the excess stress, but something wasn't right previously, and my body is starting to heal itself.35 -
This isn’t recent but it just struck me that it’s an NSV rather than just an annoyance.
I don’t know what my start weight was because I didn’t weigh myself until 2 weeks in. Thus missing the opportunity to record that initial big drop. Every time I see how much I lost on my profile I think “but it’s more than that really”. The reason I didn’t weigh myself is the battery in the scale was dead and it took us a couple of weeks to get a replacement (thanks to strict lockdown I couldn’t just go to a shop and grab one and there’s no Amazon here).
Suddenly tonight I realized it’s an NSV that I didn’t put off starting until I got the battery. If I had, at best I’d be a few weeks behind where I am now, at worst I may never have started because who knows if I would have felt motivated to get into it when the battery arrived.37 -
My NSV is that I'm back. Joined MFP in 2016, lost 130 pounds, got pregnant & gained some (totally normal and healthy) weight, had an awesome baby, successfully parented for a year, and now I'm back to lose some of that weight. Calorie counting is still easy, but fitting it in with a small child who wants to put everything in her mouth is tricky. Here we go37

I can sit in restaurant booths again! No more requesting a table because I can't fit into the booths.29

My resting heart rate has gone down, so presumably I'm a little fitter. Also I had to stop wearing my comfy jeans because they got a hole in the knee. Not being able to shop for new jeans, I tried a pair that had been too tight in the waist. They now fit perfectly. In fact, I need to wear a belt to keep them up!21

Scale hasn’t changed in a year, but i put up 215 X 1 for the first time in 25 years.
Strength can’t be measured on a scale!15 -
Recent NSV, getting back to that determined no excuses mindset that pushed me to lose over 30lbs 2 years ago. That's an achievement. The right mindset makes it possible to preserve and overcome ALL obstacles in this life long weight loss journey. I'm doing what worked before, the slow weight loss approach and just trusting in the process.🙏🏾 One day at a time!16

I've never had regular periods my entire life, except for this past year after i started eating better and exercising. I'm still not a normal 28 day cycle (my cycles are more like 35 days) but its leaps and bounds more regular that my previous which was maybe 3-4 periods a year.11 -

I didn't realize this was a thing until i had a larger friend mention it to me once when we went out to dinner! So glad that you can now sit anywhere you want4 -

Good for you for being back! I have two little ones too and I've found that the easiest way for me to be good about tracking is to pre-log as much as possible at the start of the day! Keeps you a little more accountable and then it's just done and you don't need to worry about it while chasing after a little one!

My biggest NSV is that I'm BACK. I've been off and on for the last few months with everything going on but I'm back today and went for the first run in a WHILE. I sprained my ankle a while ago and i was messed up for a while, but i ran and i was slow but i did it!19

I got a size 12 (uk if that matters to anyone) dress from a charity shop - obviously couldn't try it on. It fits!16

I can do two push ups where my quads and chest touch the floor and my elbows do not flare. I started with wall push ups two weeks back.18

Realising that I am having bad days and not ransacking the house for something unhealthy. It's weird that I didn't really notice the last few bad days I've had. But good, I really hope this is the new normal.15

My latest NSV is something I've noticed the last few weeks. I started hiking again since I can do it alone and don't need a shuttle like when I kayak or raft. I've been visiting some pretty places, and I intend to continue. I just got out of the habit. I don't remember if it was last week or the week before that I realized this, but when I looked down to see the trail I saw something I wasn't used to. Or I didn't see something.
I kind of remember that whenever I wore a pack with a hip belt and chest strap, there would be a round thing poking out between them. It looked like that was almost all gone. It was fairly flat. I can still see the jiggles in the mirror when I don't have a shirt on, but even with a fairly fitted shirt, my gut wasn't poking out from below the chest strap.

Yesterday we had grilled chicken, sliced tomatoes, yogurt sauce, and whole wheat flatbread for dinner. I'd made 8 flatbreads, each about 110 calories, for easier portion control. Spouse dished up the food. She put FOUR flatbreads on my plate. My NSV was, without even thinking about having more, I immediately put two flatbreads away for the next day's use. My first thought wasn't "Oo, I want all that bread," it was "wow, that's like 440 calories and not only do I not need all that, I wouldn't be able to eat all that." I love that shift in my mindset, because I was right. I was stuffed with only two.26

I've lost inches!!! Half an inch off my bust, and another half an inch off my waist! I've also looked at some new exercise equipment and I'm actually? Kind of excited to get new things to work out with?! I used to hate working out, so that's quite a difference.14

I feel awesome. I wonder if it is a product of my exercise, weight loss, better diet or.. I have some weight based medications and maybe they are working better.
The reason doesn’t really matter to me. I’m pushing forward but feeling physically great is such an amazing NSV for a chronically ill person.15 -
Able to do 30 proper good form push ups. At the start of March I couldn't even do a knee push up!25

I'm not friends with the scales at the moment!
My NSV victory however is being able to zip up a pair of denim short shorts I couldn't even get into when I first purchased them. I must have bought them last year during the last proper heatwave. They weren't expensive so I couldn't be bothered returning them and thought I might fit into them one day.
